Training Death Hunter DEATHSWEEPER General Information The large stone cavern with the tiled floor and large yellow smiley face is likely familiar to at least several trainees, and may even feature in a few nightmares from time to time. Welcome to Deathsweeper, the training course that may only be attempted via c-type golem, and often acts as a testing ground for the Life Division's more painful creations. Stealth and detecting imminent danger are vital for Death Hunters and anyone who has to spend extended amounts of time near Caelius. The Deathsweeper chamber is full of hidden traps that only the finest of survival instincts can survive unscathed.
If you fail: you get to once again relive the sensation of dying. Painfully and sometimes quite strangely.
If you win: you have survived stepping 5 tiles into the room. Anything further is purely for peen and bragging rights.
Mechanics roll 1 d10 check for hp loss and death decide whether or not to use your bonuses if you survive, repeat. roll list: the traps are ICly constantly changing, so feel free to get creative as to what exactly those traps are! -50% HP is off your full HP, so if you hit -50% twice, then you are 100% KO'd

Bonus Mechanics This bonus is consumable. All participants get a flag, this flag will allow your character to notice something about the area they're stepping into. OOCly this means you can adjust your rolled number, up or down, by one point. Instinctive moves are used in the same manner as flags. These are stackable, so if you have 1 flag + 1 instinctive move, you can use them up in order to adjust your roll by two.
(If you roll a 1, you may not move your number down to 0, -1, or 10. And 10 cannot be adjusted to 1 or 11.)

"I'm back." Marcus said as he re-entered the room that was pretty much aiming to ******** his s**t up. Or rather the room that would allow him to got have his face ******** to death in various ways. Such fun, deathsweeper was on a daily basis. He couldn't imagine how fun it much be to be a death hunter. No really, he couldn't. Going back into the pod he was relaxed, ready. Cursing as he got sent back to the pod he was happy to find the hunters ready with another one. They were expecting him to fail. Of course. grumbling he nodded, being sent back to where he started. Okay he had a rough start but now he was on the right track... hopefully. The tiles he was on was safe, but ******** if he was going to be safe forever. he had to move at some point didn't he? Okay. That was a bad step. Again, just had to keep at it. Deep breaths, stay calm. Cool and collected he could do this. Or so Marcus thought. Next step he took landed him into another fire pit, killing the golem and sending him back to the pod with a curse. The hunters? laughing again, motioned if he wanted to try again he could. Another try another golem, another inevitable plunge into hell itself. You are a glutton for punishment you know that? And? I want to beat this thing. For what reason oh masochistic one? "s**t ******** Do you guys rig this I mean serious what the hell?" The hunters laughed at him again as Marcus huffed. No they assured him it was not rigged, it was just hard as hell to beat and survive. Grumbling he went back into the pod to await the next golem. As he was back on track he debated if it was worth it, if suffering for nothing, for a self gratifying sense of accomplishment was worth anything at all. You're and idiot. Dis hissed in his head. You b***h and you moan but at the end of the day you hunger for more. More knowledge, more power, more love, more more more. You want to win because you're vain Marcus. Like a vampire, you're vain and full of arrogant pride. You're just like-Marcus didn't want to hear that. Why, because it's true? No. It was because- Whoops. He stepped into spikes sorry Dis. Dis growled at him. the weapon didn't like to be ignore, especially when it was trying to make a point. But like Marcus Dis was now frustrated, blindly going into all of Marcus's flaws and not helping the moon hunter trainee in the least anymore. Not the worst the weapon could and would do. It could start- Oh god. No. NO. Bad mental images. Bad bad bad bad he did not like guys that way it was bandages and cookies that had made him do those things Dis you were a horrible weapon why did he even accept you god help him he- He tripped, falling into a vat of acid. Well, that certainly ended the conversation right then. Hard to torment a guy already pissed off at his lack of ability to survive something that should be simple. Another dead golem, another round of coming back to assholde hunters mocking his suffering. Okay, he'd give them that one since he tripped but really guys, have some sympathy. Oh sorry, he forgot, sympathy wasn't allowed in death hunters. Did they start out okay as Trainees and then get some douche bag lombotomy? Because Marcus didn't want so see some of his friend turn into jerks overnight okay? Okay. Golem ready, Marcus rushed out...and died promptly by being cut in half. God damn it.
