The roads had been plowed this morning, earlier, and Alexandre had heard it from his room. Knowing they needed more groceries he decided to take advantage of the cleared roads, and the pause in the snow fall. Slipping out of bed he'd showered quickly and gotten dressed, hair swept up and back away from his face, socks and boots were yanked on when he got to the front door.
His door left open, a note on his door telling Lily he'd taken advantage of the clear roads and stop in the snow in order to pick up groceries. At the bottom he added to text him if she thought of anything else they needed, under his note was attached a list of what he was picking up. It wasn't the longest list but some of the items were ones they really needed. Other items, on the list, they could do without but since he was going out he'd pick them up as well.
He'd left over two hours ago, it was slow going on the roads and the first store was closed so he'd gone a little further to one which was luckily open. Shopping wasn't all that hard, it seemed no one was out or at least no one was shopping, the place had restocked from the loads of people which had invaded several days ago. So it was with confidence, that he'd get everything on the list, that Alexandre had pushed the cart about the store picking up everything they'd need for the next week or so. He liked the idea of stocking up, in case they got even more snow and were again snowed in.
Finally the last item on his list and down the water isle he went. Grabbing two cases of bottled water. Those went on the bars under the cart, since the cart itself was full and brimming with items. That done he turned the cart, with difficulty, back the way he'd come and headed for check out. Normally he'd self check out but the place was utterly empty, save maybe two or three people and maybe four workers, so he decided to give one of the check out girls something to do. While she checked him out he bagged everything up, he'd at least help her in that way.
((Assume the play script is sitting right on his bedside table, flipped open.))

Lily yawned slightly as she looked over the note of Alex's door. It was just like him to think ahead and she was really glad that she didn't have to go out in the mess the snow created, but she wished Alex hadn't gone alone. Now however she had just finished practicing the piano and Alex still wasn't home yet. She frowned slightly because she wanted to ask him if he had seen the ballet bag, she need it for her dance classes when classes started.
She sighed getting up and heading into Alex's room, for all she knew Eamon had hid it somewhere. She figured she might as well check his room, it really couldn't be anywhere but under the bed if it was there, its wasn't as though she couldn't look for herself.
She went into his room heading over onto the side of his bed and getting down to look under the bed. Sure enough her bag was there, the one thing out of place under the bed. She shook her head muttering to herself about her silly dog, while standing bag in hand.
She saw it then, lying open on the nightstand. She wondered what Alex was reading and with a smile she picked it up. One part in particular was highlighted which made Lily extremely curious and she wondered if maybe Alex was working on something for school, not that school had been open recently. Script in hand she headed into her room placing her bag at the end of her bed and sitting at her desk to read the script. She hadn't bothered to close her door and was quickly pulled into the play.

Luck for Lily he was a neat person, with a clean floor. Devoid of things laying about in a haphazard manner it would be easy to find her bag if he were in his room, even if it was under his bed. Alexandre was the sort most would likely want for a room mate, neat and clean and didn't leave messes. The only downside was he refused to clean up other peoples messes. Dust and such was one thing but picking up peoples dishes, clothing, and other discarded things was another. So Lily had it easy finding her back under his bed.
His own lines were highlighted in purple, he had at the beginning only highlighted his role but later added the lines in. He'd had an issue with reading and reading and not realizing he'd read into other lines till he was a few words in. So rather than risk memorizing other characters lines he'd gone ahead and highlighted everything he had to read.
So far there were no penned in notes in the free spaces of the scripts pages. It was bound to happen at some point, mentions of how to act or where to look and other odd notations. Till rehearsals got further along the script was simply covered in streaks of purple.
As Alexandre parked the truck, snow crunching under the tires, he got out and went around to the trunk and started grabbing groceries and headed for the front door. His key out, and bags set down on the wet cement, he slid the key into the lock and turned at the same time as he pushed the door open. Calling out that he was home as he stepped inside. Lily hadn't texted him anything so he'd only gotten what was on his list, he'd checked his phone multiple times at the store even as he bagged everything up.
"I'm gonna unload everything and then head it into the kitchen, Lily." Unload the bags into the front room, lock up his trunk, and then after locking the front door he'd start carrying everything into the kitchen to put it all away. He didn't ask for her help, not knowing what she may or may not be up to. He didn't want to interrupt her if she was busy after all.
