Training  Death Hunter
DEATHSWEEPER
The large stone cavern with the tiled floor and large yellow smiley face is likely familiar to at least several trainees, and may even feature in a few nightmares from time to time. Welcome to Deathsweeper, the training course that may only be attempted via c-type golem, and often acts as a testing ground for the Life Division's more painful creations. Stealth and detecting imminent danger are vital for Death Hunters and anyone who has to spend extended amounts of time near Caelius. The Deathsweeper chamber is full of hidden traps that only the finest of survival instincts can survive unscathed.
If you fail: you get to once again relive the sensation of dying. Painfully and sometimes quite strangely.
If you win: you have survived stepping 5 tiles into the room. Anything further is purely for peen and bragging rights.
Mechanics
roll 1 d10
check for hp loss and death
decide whether or not to use your bonuses
if you survive, repeat.
roll list: the traps are ICly constantly changing, so feel free to get creative as to what exactly those traps are!
-50% HP is off your full HP, so if you hit -50% twice, then you are 100% KO'd

Bonus Mechanics
This bonus is consumable.
All participants get a flag, this flag will allow your character to notice something about the area they're stepping into. OOCly this means you can adjust your rolled number, up or down, by one point. Instinctive moves are used in the same manner as flags. These are stackable, so if you have 1 flag + 1 instinctive move, you can use them up in order to adjust your roll by two.
(If you roll a 1, you may not move your number down to 0, -1, or 10. And 10 cannot be adjusted to 1 or 11.)
Trainees: 1 flag
Death Trainees: 1 flag + 1 instinctive move
Hunters: 1 flag + 1 instinctive move
Death Hunters: 1 flag + 2 instinctive moves

Deathsweeper we meet again." Marcus said as he narrowed his eyes. The senior hunters coughed as they poorly tried to hold back a chuckle, by Marcus didn't give a ******** about them. No, he did give a ******** about the fact he was s**t at deathsweeper but ******** that noise he was going to beat it once in his damn life. He was a shitty moon trainee who ******** up and failed and giving up- He'd done it once, but he wasn't going to let sleeping dogs lie. No, he was going to go up, kick those dogs in the face and show them who is boss.
He had several hours of free time to do this thing. "Please gets the golems ready." Golems. He was fully aware his luck was terrible at this and he'd nee several runs. The hunters on duty rolled their eyes and shook their heads but none the less began to get the pods ready for him. "Thank you. Wish me luck?" The hunters outright laughed at that one. Luck would not help him here, just skill.
Skill he sorely lacked.

A nod and the notice that the golem was ready had Marcus nervously picking at his nail. ******** him, he was going to die and it was going to be slow or fast but even in the golem it would be painful as hell. But, it was to 'learn' right? Common logic told him no. It was just how Dr. H got his kicks because he wasn't probably allowed to kill them on a regular basis. Regular. Basis. The Doctor was probably allowed an exception time to time on really shitty trainees. He was a shitty trainee oh god he- He fell asleep, waking back up on the deathsweeper. Oh thank god he was in a golem. No true death yet. Yet. But soon enough with that first step? Death liked to come on swift wings. And of course, one step in a flash of pain but not dead. Marcus was one step in, already thinking he was going to suck at this so ******** hard it wasn't even funny. Not even funny. Even if the senior hunters in charge of the golems probably made bets on how fast he'd die and try again. They were assholes, but, in a way, so was he. If he was where they were he'd do it too. Mostly since he imagined if you did that all day you'd want something to keep you entertained while being stuck in one area for god knew how long. Sighing, he stepped on another tiles and- BAM. Back in the pod. "********-" The hunters in charged were laughing, one opening the door and offering a break if he 'couldn't handle it'. ******** you hunters, he could and would handle it. "Haha laugh it up." Marcus muttered under his breath as the pod sent him into sleep once more. This time it was a new golem, new part of the course. He could do this, he could. Taking a deep breath, Marcus thought about what would happen when he beat this thing. He knew what he'd do. He'd grab Cass, grab a movie, gram some food and ******** relax. Mission accomplished. Job well done. That was what he'd do. Not even take a nap just- relax. Napping was for more tired, relaxing? That was his reward.

One tile down, four to go. At this rate, Marcus decided, he could live and have his cake. Eating it however? No thank, it was probably filled with some horrible concoction Julie made that would turn him into a cat again. But then...if he was cat... wouldn't he have 9 lives? Clearly he should have stayed a cat and gotten a cat golem. But.. Not really, then he would have missed out on Cass cuddles and kisses and being able to wear clothes and- Yeah he'd stay human. New golem, new try. He needed to stay focused. Dis was helping by staying quite, only telling Marcus to keep calm and just deal with it. Marcus was terrible at dealing with it. Mostly since he died once more. <******** this, I'm going on break." The on duty hunters muttered something about bets, hitting a nerve. "I am going to do this. I'll be back after I get something to eat or whatever." Off to brood for a while Dis was singing in his head about how after they could go relax. In bed. With- Not now Dis, not now.Shame.
