~::Tanabata Festival (Both nights!)::~ [The Red String of Fate]
What is Tanabata without love? In this booth you will be able to be reunited with your true love for once and for all! Just like Orihime and Hikoboshi! Isn't it romantic? Ahem! Sadly, it is not literal, but the potluck love drawing is interesting nonetheless. In this booth participants will enter and draw a ball with numbered papers inside from a box without knowing what number is inside. Cracking open the ball and reading the number inside of it, you will find out that your number matches someone else's! And the two of you are destined to be together!
At any time during the Festival (both days), Festival-goers will be able to participate in this game. After getting their number, they can go around the festival looking for the one holding their same number. At the end of the festival, these couples will be able to claim awesome couple-only prizes! Quote: Event Rules 1. Characters entering this booth will draw a ball from a box with a little number inside. This number will also be your soul mate's! Once getting your number, you may go around the Festival looking for your other half. 2. Post drawing your number and roll a random number from 1 to 100. Look then for someone with the matching number. -If a third person rolls the same number, they must roll again. -If two people from the same gender generates the same number, the second one must re-draw. 3. [After finding the person with the same number, you can return to the booth to claim a fantabulous prize! ] This booth will be open during the two nights of the Festival.

Figures she'd take me here first. the senior thought, a deadpanned expression on his face. "So....we just draw...a ball?" Aussa's voice called, as she moved closer. The attendant simply nodded as the girl in the kimono walked up, reaching in carefully with her left hand, and feeling around for a ball, before pulling one out, holding onto it. "Can...I keep it?" she called, the attendant chuckling a bit, as if talking to a small child, before assuring her. Jo(shu) couldn't help but be amused by the whole thing, wearing his Junes Uniform due to lack of time and funding. He didn't exactly care too much, but it was interesting to see all of the different outfits. "WYNN should be getting back with our food soon.." he stated plainly, before feeling a pair of daggers glaring at him behind the lenses. A predicament, if there ever was one. "Fine fine....I'll pull too." he called, grumbling about the unlikelyhood of picking the same number as her as he pulled up the furthest ball from him, wondering what number he'd get. He tossed the ball in the air several times, as they waited. Soon as WYNN got there, they could move along. Quote: This is Aussa's Roll. I'll do Jo(shu)'s in the OoC, then tag it in for future posts. That way, we can tell at a glance without having to cycle, yes? Aussa: 16 Jo(shu): 16 WELP.

Rika Kirana "The Bipolar Vandal" Rika looked around. She almost wasn't going to the festival, but hey, why not. She had some extra money, which was rare for her, but why not use it at a festival and have a bit of fun?
She stopped by the Red String of Fate, and stared at it for a minute. "Sounds like a load of bull." She muttered to herself, as she looked over it. But she avoided looking at people as she did actually go to draw a number. If it sounded like a load of bull, it was odd to see her actually doing it. The hell with it, she'd try it, see who she ran into. She drew a ball and looked at her number with some curiosity, before shrugging and pocketing the paper.

Miya
"Rika!" A soft voice called, barely audible over the general noise of the festival. A girl with pale hair waved cheerfully as she came over, and Miya came to a stop, smiling as she held out a candied apple for the other girl. It was a festival, right? And festivals meant food. And apples, for some reason, just seemed to fit Rika's image. The way they were bright and energetic on the outside, but with a sweeter inside, and then a core of toughness that supported it all. Exactly like Miya's image of Rika, really. The girl peeked over a moment later, then picked out a number. "It would be kind of funny if we drew the same one..." she murmured quietly as she unfolded her paper.

They claim that if someone gets the same number you draw then they were destined to meet or something like that. "I don't see the trouble in giving it a try.. It's just a game and all." The girl walked over and moved her hand around inside before grabbing a ball to remove from the box. Seventeen was her number. "Seventeen huh?.. I'll hold on to this paper just in case." Rika Kirana "The Bipolar Vandal" Rika turned to who shouted her name, and grinned a bit seeing Miya. So she made it, eh? She accepted the candy apple Miya offered. "Heya Miya. Thanks." She said, trying the apple as she watched Miya pull out her own number. She peeked at the number, then laughed a bit at what Miya said. "Hah, maybe the reversed digits mean somethin' too, huh?" She joked as she stepped from the booth to let other people get to it, and mainly to keep from getting crowded. "I wasn't sure who to expect to see here, but I ended up coming anyway." She said, looking around. At least Miya was more dressed for a festival than Rika was, but it wasn't like Rika had festival clothes lyin' around anyway. Not that it bothered her, she would have felt weird wearing things like that anyway...

Miya
"The same but... different, huh?" Miya mused, considering the number she'd drawn. Then, with a small smile, she hugged it close to her heart for a moment before slipping it into a pocket. Miya's vocie returned to a more normal volume a moment later. Surely she could do a little bit of teasing, right? "I was a little surprised to find you here. Could it be that you're looking for a boyfriend after all?" she asked mischievously, "Just promise me that you'll never resort to dating the doctor." Their psychiatrist, after all, had some... odd expressions, on occasion. She didn't really understand them, but it would be weird to date somebody so much older than you were.

ɱayu Ⱥkiyama Pink Wolf I may be bad,
☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠ Mayu smiled slightly as she ran her hands through her pink locks; the soft waterfall of hair had been loosely tied in a ribbon and tossed over her right shoulder. It had been two days since the war and two days since Anubis had guided the Pink Wolf back to the living world and claimed there had been a mistake, she had been taken too soon. Her heart had fluttered slightly for the dog headed bronze man, a fluttering that she had never felt before and disturbed her greatly. It wasn't too surprising that the girl who loved to inflict pain and death upon others might be stirred by death in an unhealthy way. Alas that was a path she was not ready to pursue, mentally or even physically. No, even as her fingers itched to touch the puncture wound scars that littered her body where the great nine tailed fox had sunk her teeth in, she knew she was alive and had to kill the feeling. Killing feelings was something the doe eyed girl was good at, she just had to focus on the parts of her mind that were warped and a sticky black color – focus on the fear of foxes that now sent her heart into a flurry.
”Silly thoughts,” she chided herself in a sweet voice as the Red String booth caught her eye. ”Oh how funny, perhaps I will play...” There was a sort of hollowness to her voice as she approached and gently scooped up a ball. Her fingers were swift as she snapped it open and looked over the number she had received. ☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠
But I'm perfectly good at it.

ɱayu Ⱥkiyama Pink Wolf I may be bad,
☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠ Mayu's nose wrinkled as she glanced at the unsavory number and resigned herself to draw again. "What luck, well perhaps I will have better chances this time," the wolf said her distaste masked by a smile. It wouldn't do to show her darker side here and there really was nothing she could do but redraw her number, after all she could not go about carrying the same number as another girl... that too would not be good. ☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠
But I'm perfectly good at it. Quote: Mayu is off to the mask shop

Rika Kirana "The Bipolar Vandal" Rika waved it off at first. "Like any of the guys around here could handle me." She smirked. But Miya said something about dating the doctor, and Rika choked on some of her candied apple. Yeah she cringed at that very idea. "Eh, you got my word on that, Miya. I don't want anything to do with that certified creep outside of the office." She admitted with a sweatdrop. She remained oblivious to the thoughts of the doctor, but still, he struck her as just plain out creepy sometimes, even if he did have good intentions.

"Kuro" Adamochi The Borderline Artist In Denial Mask still fixed over her face, Kuro looked around as she limped around the festival. She looked at the red string booth and thought about it. It was a weird concept to her, the idea of drawing some sort of number to see if you were fated to be around another person.
Avoiding getting near many other people, the girl walked up to draw her own number, taking a look at the paper she got out of the ball she drew.

Miya
Score. Heh. "I'd take care of you, though." The girl said, almost totally inaudibly, before taking a bite out of her own apple. Maybe she was just a little drunk off the atmosphere...? "Good." Miya said with a wide smile, before turning around and clasping her food behind her back. "Why don't we go over to some of the games now? I bet you'll do really good at the shooting gallery." Utterly baseless confidence, that. But even if Rika didn't do very well, she'd probably have fun with that kind of event. It was a healthy sort of controlled violence, right? For prizes? And this sort of upbeat, friendly social atmosphere was exactly what she'd been told she needed, so why not give it a shot?

Rika Kirana "The Bipolar Vandal" Rika didn't really catch what Miya said. She thought she heard Miya mutter, but it went over Rika's head. Ah, but the shooting gallery? Rika was contemplating playing a few games while she was here. Really, having fun was teh point, wasn't it? Besides, that did sound kinda interesting. She wasn't much of a gun person, but maybe she'd fare in a fun festival shooting game. "Hm, you're right, the games look pretty interesting. Since you mentioned it, I do kinda wanna try that shooting gallery." She said thoughtfully as she looked over in the direction of it. She grinned at Miya, then motioned for her to follow. "C'mon, maybe you can give it a shot too if ya want." She said before ushering Miya towards the shooting booth.

Soon enough, the green haired figure came over to the stand, holding up a plate of some sort of fried food. "I have brought it." WYNN stated plainly, as the two took some things from the plate. "Thanks." Jo(shu) stated gratefully, as he turned to Aussa. "Let's go to another event, and crack open these things there. Don't wanna be ambused now." Not that he knew his number, but he had a feeling it wasn't one he would like. Plus, he did want to see more of the event while it was going on. WYNN nodded, following the two along quietly without taking a second glance at the booth. She was more curious in another area anyways...and thus, she would refrain from coming around here unless otherwise lead there. Hopefully, they would go near her preferred one soon... Kanade moved to find another booth, finding a place where they offered to determine your "Soul Mate" via a Number. Hesitant, yet at the same time curious, she moved over quietly, looking to make sure no one else was around, before reaching in, and pulling out a ball of her own. Maybe...Pride, shoulder, wrist, and arms....throughly hurt. He'd had worse, but he really tried hard to beat the bear, with sad results. He'd seen the other two completely win, but he'd been floored in no time flat. He slunked off, having not caught his senpai wandering in, and moved to a booth filled with...promise. "Soul Mate...huh? he called, before moving up, and reaching for a ball. He wondered if he'd get anyone....and if so....If she'd be cute. Well, he could daydream at least...Quote: First number = Kanade's (44) Second = Eido's (3)
