~::Tanabata Festival (First Night)::~ [Samegawa Boat Wishing Event!]
One of the highlights of the local festival traditions has always been the creation and sailing of the wishing boats into the Samegawa River. It is said that if you write a wish on the sail of one of these tiny, wooden boats and release it into the stream at the back end of the Shrine...and your boat makes the voyage all the way down the stream into the Samegawa River that runs through the town...the wish that you wrote onto the boat will come true without fail! Many of the younger kids in the town are known to laugh and run along the side of the stream, chasing the boats as they flow, hoping to see whether or not the wishing boats will reach the river or sink before the stream's end.
At any time during the first day of the Festival after nightfall (Evening), the Festival-goers may write their wish upon the boat and let it sail free in the stream. Though those who release the boats rarely see whether or not their wish will be granted, often the delighted cries of the children will tell you whether or not your boat has sailed... Quote: Event Rules 1. At any time during the first night of the Festival, you may stop into this booth and write your wish upon one of the tiny wooden boats' sails [aka put the wish into a Quote Box below your post and denote who you are wishing as]. Set the boat free into the waters of the Shrine's stream once you have. 2. Roll 1-100 when you release your boat, and if you manage to land on any number with (7) in it, your wish will be entered into a raffle! A few lucky winners will then have their wishes granted! 3. This event takes place all day on the First Night, and you can enter whenever you wish. You may only sail ONE boat, with ONE wish per character. 4. These wishes are Character Wishes, aka wishes that you (the RP'er) have for your character. If you wish for them to gain powers, obtain an item, etc., you may make that wish here. Event will take place on the First Night, at any time, with the Prize Raffle at the End of the Night!

"We are here." WYNN's voice called out, as the trio made their way across the area, coming up to the area near the Samegawa River. A few children could be seen sailing boats, and WYNN had inquired about this area a bit before. "I believe the concept is....that you write a wish on one of the sails, and let the boat go....."Jo(shu) raised an eyebrow at this, but shrugged, figuring the thing to be nice and relaxing at least. "They supposed to come true?" he asked lightly, the green haired one turning again."If they make it to the river from here...it is said to come true." WYNN stated, turning slightly. "May we....participate in this event?"Jo(shu) looked up at the river, before looking down at WYNN, then shrugged. "Sure, why not?" he called, moving up. "What's the harm in it?" Barring any unusual wishes, of course. "I'll...pass... Aussa called, as she fumbled with her ball that she got from the event earlier. "My arm's still hurting....and I kind of want to see what my number is." Jo(shu) shrugged, before leading WYNN up to get a pair of boats, and some brushes. While WYNN knew just what to wish for, Jo(shu) himself had to stop and think on it a bit. He had friends, he had allies, he was reasonably strong..... Writing something down eventually, he turned to WYNN, who had been waiting on him to finish. "What'd you write?" Jo(shu) called, leaning a bit to look at the sail. However, as he leaned, WYNN held it close to herself, and moved slightly away. "I...believe you're not supposed to tell anyone." she called with a small flush, embarassed by her wish.Jo(shu) was a tad suspicious, but shrugged at this, not too worried about what she would wish for. Soon enough, the two moved to the end of the area to release the boats, and let them go, the Green haired one watching hers eagerly. The brown haired one....not so much. He felt he made his own luck at times....and he never had a lot of luck with wishes.Quote: WYNN: "I want to become Strong Enough to Protect Jo(shu)" [Wishes for Powers] Jo(shu): "I'd like to finish my collection" [Wishing to get an Eria Summon]

Accelerator, the One Way Road
A short ways away from the booth, he stopped, noticing a group of kids near the stream, seeing them setting off boats. "One of these...again?" he thought lightly, as a pair of people he vaugely recognized set a pair of boats off. He didn't have high hopes for their wishes, but seeing it...made him want to try it. He moved to grab a boat quietly "Can I...borrow your brush? he called, holding his hand out towards the brown haired one, who casually handed it back without another word, the Silver haired one starting to write carefully. He knew enough of how to write, even if his handwriting was....sloppy, at best. All because of his damnable power...... After writing his message, he moved quietly to the stream, a small ways away from the other two, before setting his boat out, thinking it childish, but not discounting luck. If he had even the slightest amount...maybe some faith with it...he could develop just enough.....Just enough to control his power.Quote: Accelerator: "I want to harness full control over my powers" (Power up)

The green haired Android tried to follow her boat, but quickly lost it in the night sky. She really hoped her wish would come true, for her sake. A small look of worry crossed her face, before feeling a hand pat her shoulder."It'll all work out..No worries." Jo(shu) called reassuringly to her, smiling as warmly as he could. The girl nodded quietly to him, before turning around. As they did to head elsewhere, the brown haired girl with them cracked open the little ball, pulling out a number. "I got.....Sixteen." Aussa called quickly, holding the number out for Jo(shu) to see. The senior paused, before shrugging. "Ah...right. I should probably check my number." he called, pulling out the ball himself, and cracking it open. "Don't get your hopes up. The likelyhood of us getting the same..." ................................
A dull clack could be heard, as the ball fell to the ground, the brown haired senior stared at his number. The glasses-wearing demon looked at him with a sort of worry, moving closer. "What's wrong? Don't tell me you.." she started, before noticing the number too. Silence filled the air between them, and a steady flush came to the brown haired girl's face. In case there was any confusion, the green haired girl moved closer, looking at the paper quietly."Onii-Shu and Aussa-Nee Have the same number..." she stated, a small bite to her voice. Jealousy? A bit of a fault in the human disguise? Or perhaps just being blunt? It was impossible to say, but The brown haired girl started stammering repeatedly, flabberghasted."I....but....he...We..... Aussa stammered, before feeling her arm being drug, along with the brown haired Senior's, who kept a flat expression on his face. Not sure whether to be happy or curse my misfortune. he thought, the green haired one dragging them along."Aussa-Nee and Onii-Shu should go claim their prize." she called, perfectly content to walk the two of them to the booth, in case they had forgotten where it was.

As the night of the festival slowly wore on, a number of people passed in and out of the area by the top of the shrine. Children were the most common, of course, delightedly writing down all manner of inane things in the hopes that it would occur. And, yet, they were hardly the only ones there. Parents, doing it mainly for the sake of their children, wrote down wishes asking for a day off, and a number of people who weren't doing much at the rest of the festival even dropped by just for the fun of it. One by one, a number of small boats were released into the endless night... Quote: Rednal: I want to be helpful to all of my friends. (Wish for Social Link finished...) Yuno: Yuno wants a knife that cuts really well so she can s-slice food better. (Wish for Item) Aselia: Nn. (Wish for World Peace) Al Azif: Protection from evil! (Wish for Armor) Kisa: I want to be strong enough to take down any foe. (Wish for Power/Candelabrum fight) Eoria: Something shiny! (Wish for a shiny object) Korina: Ia, ia, Hastur, Hastur, Hastur! (Wish to be minorly useful to some plot... so I have somewhere to RP her... heh. XD wink Raidou: I want to see Geirin wear a dress. (Wish for lulz)

 Naomi Fujiyoshi
The Inspired Idol She looked over the boats grabbing one of the small boats trying to think of what she wanted. There were so many things that the idol wanted to happen but narrowing it down to just one was going to be hard for her. Tapping her chin in thought trying to figure out just what wish she was going to make. Taking up the brush she did her best to cleanly write out her wish on the boat before setting it it into the river setting it off as she watched it sail off.Quote: Naomi: "I want to be able to help my friends that have been helping me." Karu Raiku After making his way from the Red string of Fate booth the brown haired senior decided to make his wish on one of the small boats. 'What to wish for..? He had to think of something, after all he had come here with the intention of making a wish. Picking up one of the brushes he pondered what exactly he could wish for as he slowly started writing his wish as he tried to think of the best way to word it. Not that it probably really matter how the wish was worded, he just wanted to be clear. Quote: Karu:"I would like to get to know my new teammates easier, problems with people and all" (Social Link Starts/finish)

Ashe Raiku "Would you like your picture taken? Ashe walk slowly so Mei could easily keep up with her. It wasn't too long of a walk from the Red String of Fate booth to the Wish Boats, but it wasn't as crowded. A few people were clearing out almost after they had launched their boats so they could follow and watch the boats drift down the river. A girl that seemed to be about her age was setting her boat out and getting ready to leave the area. Besides the orange hair girl one other person caught her eye, someone she actually knew. "Well well well I know this fellow." Ashe spoke up addressing her older brother who was still watching his boat float off down the stream. What would she wish for? "So what will you need my help with Mei? Ashe asked still holding the sleeve of her senpai.

Mei Hanako Mei followed Ashe quietly, pausing as the girl eventually spoke of someone. Hearing her talk about it, then ask her what she needed written, Mei leaned closer, whispering it in her ear before stepping back, with a slight smile. "Whom might this fellow be, Ashe?" Mei called quietly, though she had an idea of whom it was, unless she missed her guess. "Also...as soon as you're done writing it, I would be most appreciative if you would hand the boat to me...and let me send it into the stream." It was Her wish after all. The little magics wouldn't work if someone else did it, more than likely. Quote: Mei: I wish to be able to prove to people my blindness does not mean I have to be protected. [Awaken to powers]

Ashe Raiku "Would you like your picture taken? Ashe handed Mei one of the boats as she picked up her own boat as well as a brush for herself and her senpai. " That fellow would be my brother." she spoke up as she started writing her wish down on the boat. A few times she glanced over to Mei writing. Ashe finished writing down her wish as she sent it into the river, perhaps her wish was a bit materialistic but she just wanted to be able to share her art with as many people as she could. "So what bring you here Karu?" she asked despite the obvious answer to the question. Quote: Ashe: I wish for some new camera or something to help with my passion (New Item)

Karu Raiku Karu looked up as he heard someone addressed him more or less. " Hey there Ashe." He looked at the blonde haired person that his sister was seemingly dragging along. But the two seemed to know each other so perhaps the blonde was the one that Ashe was talking about the other night. That was an educated guess. "I was here, you know... making a wish or something. That's sort of the point, I guess." Karu spoke up not really know a great way to word such an obvious answer so he sort of used his normal form of answering, Ashe was probably use to how he answered. Besides the he was sort of unsure what to do from here, with Ashe around he could potentially tag along with her and her friend but something told him that she may have a different opinion of the subject.

Mei Hanako Mei silently nodded as her thoughts were confirmed, Ashe saying it was her brother, then asking him what he was doing. "Would it be impolite for me to ask what your wish was?" the blonde called lightly to the male. As she did, a hand went up to her face, chuckling lightly. "Oh, right. My apologies. I neglected to introduce myself, didn't I? My name is Mei. Mei Hanako. I'm in class 3-3 at Yasogami...Karu-kun." She bowed her head a bit in the direction she hoped was Karu's, trying to put off an aura of politeness. She wondered how similar the two looked, and if it was obvious. Oh, the curses of not being able to see. Siblings usually had some passing resemblance from what she read, but hmm...

Slowly, from the waters, emerged a shark's fin. Innocent bystanders looked in awe and fear, there was a shark in the water! How could it even be possible!? Was it a demon shark here to devour the wishes of the others before they had any hope of coming true!? No..not really..As the shark continued to rise, a head slightly being revealed from within the "shark's" mouth, between it's two hands fins there was a small boat with a wish already written on it. The shark slowly placed the boat on top of the waters and watched it float away before slowly swimming to the edge and climbing up onto land. The shark looked around for a moment, the water dripping from his costume, he had made his grand entrance and was now looking for something else to do. Quote: Agito Mibu wishes to further climb the ranks of the black messengers!

Karu Raiku Karu gave a short laugh to Mei's first question. "Don't you think it might ruin the magic if you tell someone what you wished for?" he gave a short laugh not to laugh at her but more with her light chuckle that she did after her question. His ears tuned in to her second bit, her introduction. "Ah yes, Karu Raiku, that'd be me." Karu was a bit taken back the Mei knew his name, he didn't think that Ashe would have mentioned him at any point since that's sort of how his sister was. The class number of Mei is partially what caught his attention. " oh, class 3-3 that's the same class I'm in too actually." despite her blindness he still have a short bow just to be proper. "It's nice to meet you Hanako-san"

Mei Hanako Mei chuckled a bit louder at Karu rebuting her question, with another. "Ah...true. Even if we were well aquainted, it would be a bad idea." she called, chuckling a bit as he introduced himself, then mentioned they were in the same class, and that it was nice to met her. "It is a pleasure to be in your company, Rai-kun." she called with a small smile, finding some of the minor details she could pick out about him interesting. He wasn't as direct as his sister, but he seemed a touch more polite. An interesting one, if she thought so herself. "I figured I'd come and see some of the festival tonight, but it's fairly dark." she called in a half joking tone, in case Ashe hadn't told him she was blind. "I hear there's lots of interesting events going on. Ashe just lead me here first. Anything important I haven't caught yet?" A genuine question, and a sort of invitation to the fellow senior to offer them a place to go. She didn't know what events were up, save for the red string, and as such, would do better to have another person guiding her.
