Sitting in the ring with his back against the turnbuckle, the famed Eclipse was staring off at the entrance ramp. His feathered hat sat in front of him and a microphone rested between his legs. His eyes were staring off into space for what it seemed before he stood himself up, grabbing the hat and mic both. With the hat on his head, GBL would finally begin.
"One. I have been here since the beginning. Ever since, I've rode myself further and further to the top. I was known as one of the best this business could offer. The Eclipse was high, and it was to never die. Now, the Eclipse slowly falls and lowers itself into the horizon. Something that one can believe is a shadow of what it once was.
Two. I'm known for the first of many things along with records to my name. Longest reigns to final holders. An example of a first is being the first Royal Rumble winner. Even with that win, I never did go on to Wrestlemania for my shot. Something I'm not complaining about, but it is still an interesting fact. Now I can't even make it to the final four.
Three. Wildness, insanity, unpredictability. I was a hazard as much to myself as I was to my opponents. Now when I fall in the ring, my opponents easily walk away, unscathed. I went from being dominate to a nearly forgotten face of the WWFG.
Four. An Eclipse can fall . . . but it always rises again. It's time 'to turn the beat back.'"
He would drop his microphone and tilt his hat down. Without anything else, GBL would begin to leave the ring with his cryptic message finish.
