I'm planning on playing Shikieiki (with Komachi as one of her followers) in a off-site crossover rp, so I thought I'd bounce a few ideas off everyone her.
1. Who would be a good third follower if needed. Note that I'm afraid Yuyuko and Youmu would be a bad idea. It's mostly a courtesy in case someone wanted to play them, and I wouldn't want to fragment that duo.
2. As the yama's long term goal, would it make sense for her goal to make one specific area as sin-free and virtous, as possible to stand as both a contrast to the places fallen to dark forces, and as a shining example to the rest of the multiverse. For added challenge, the area could be the Underdark from Forgotten Realms, or Pandemonium from FFII.
3. Two words: Jedi Komachi. I might be able to get Komachi to be a padawan under Paula from Earthbound. I know that Shiki would probably make sense, temperment wise, but I don't see her as being anyone's pupil. Plus the force and Komachi's distance manipulation work under the same element.
4. On the same basis, what about Komachi ending up as one of Aqua or Ventus's pupils and getting a keyblade?
5. Finally, which of the two alignments do you think fit Shikieiki better?
+4: "Virtuous" These characters tend to be forgiving. They act with honor, disdain, the harm of innocents, and will attempt to alleviate the suffering of others, even at their own expense. They generally do not derive enjoyment from harming others. Former/Current characters exemplifying this alignment: Zelda, Ness, Eliwood
+5: "Saintly" These characters are forgiving and have pacifist ideals. Characters of this alignment are nearly unable to harm innocents, and often can only condone force in the most extreme of circumstances. They are usually both lawful and honorable. Former/Current characters exemplifying this alignment: Kairi, Amaterasu, Flonne

Answer to 1. would require a bit more info on the RP itself, IMO
2.: That's one idea. Another would be (instead of bringing justice and virtue to one specific place) to seek out areas of great sin /evil with an intent to cleanse. Y'know, wandering badass style. Depends on the setting / character interpretation you want.
3.: I don't really think Komachi's Distance Manipulation works as simply as Force Push/Pull, but rather, it immidiately alters spatial relations without allowance for resistance or retaliation. Come to think of it, that'd make for some pretty interesting combat, forcing opposition to fight on constantly fluxuating grounds. Although, I'm not really sure Komachi would be suited to conform to the Jedi lifestyle and duties.
4.: See above. Might fare better than becoming a Jedi
5.: "Virtuous" fits my idea of Shikieiki much better, but like I said before, that's also up to the interpretation of the person RPing as her. I've never liked the hardassed, Convictor Shiki that fandom gives her; to me, she's a powerful character who looks out for the well-being of sinners and tries to get them to redeem themselves before they're lost. If force is a must, then so be it.
Well, there's my two cents. Don't spend it all in one place! mrgreen
