I'm only posting this cause I only tell random strangers my personal life because I don't care if they judge or pity me. I don't have to deal with any of you in my real life so it's easier for me to post it here... 1st off I hope every ones year is going well so far. So far for this year has sucked extremely and I'm surprised I haven't killed my self yet (no I'm not suicidal) One thing you need to know is about my childhood. Basically parents never around, practically raised by my 13 show dogs, Dad died when I was 12, had 1 friend all through school. Recently I have had to pay for college out of pocket, my sister, one of my dogs, and my grandmother died this month. I actually just got back from her funeral. Some one might think I'm lying... I wish. Even if only 1 person reads this, that's fine. Oh and please don't say I'm sorry for your lost cause I already know some will say that. It's not like you killed them. Also I'm not religious so none of that either. Thank you for reading!

I read this. And I wish there was something I could say, except life can suck but it will get better. That's not from experience, but rather hope for my own future as well as yours.

I could say that if you want to reduce a lot of your bills, get rid of your show dogs (unless they win, of course; then by all means keep them because they make you money). But college is expensive, I'm really glad that financial aid actually covers tuition and allows me to pay bills, otherwise I'd be in the same position as you (without all my close ones dying, that is). Normally, I'm not this insensitive, but you did sort of put yourself in this position, and you even said yourself that you don't care if we judge you. I don't say this to be mean, I say this to offer solution.

I'm just confused and it seems wrong to ask for clarification. When you say "My sister, one of my dogs and my grandmother" that's three separate people or are you referring to your dogs as siblings?

I agree with Roxy Hazard. But, it is, indeed, more of a hope to me than a certainty. I don't find it fit to say that you should try to cope with these things, because I know that I would not be able to cope with them. Still, try to stay strong.

pirulaso I'm just confused and it seems wrong to ask for clarification. When you say "My sister, one of my dogs and my grandmother" that's three separate people or are you referring to your dogs as siblings? Well that's English for you. It's why I try to avoid parenthetical commas whenever ambiguity might ensue. Instead I use parentheses (surprise surprise). Seeing as she didn't separate the "paying for college" part and the "dying" part with an "and", it would seem she's referring to her sister along with one of her dogs rather than her sister (one of her dogs). Semicolons would have come in handy here. @thread: A lot of people have been dying lately. I mean within this past week alone, I count about 5 people who have died (that I know anyway). Something seems very fishy if you ask me.

I do apologize for all the grammar errors. My sister is not my dog. Also I don't know if this was clear or not but it was my grandmother's funeral I was talking about. I didn't go to my sister's because she lived in WA... I live in NC. My mother was the only one able to go.
@Psychoholic Slag: The dogs are not shown anymore and one does not simply get rid of a family member. My mother takes care of them and I do not live with her. I don't have bills besides my school. But I can't afford to buy food, school supplies, ect. I don't mean to be rude but I take it personally when some one even has the thought of just getting rid of an animal, considered family or not. ~sigh~ I'm sorry for ranting like that but it's just one of those things... @maui boy no ka oi: You're right about a lot of people dying. Three people died after I posted this in January. No one for February... yet.

I guess I'm just more callous than most people. I used to have a dog, I had him since I was five and about three years ago, he had to be put down. While it was sad to see him go, it was necessary. He was blind and deaf, and my parents had to move, so instead of allowing him to go through more pain and suffering, on top of trying to learn a new place, they put him down. I don't know what else to say. I still hold the same beliefs as the last post.

But That's different, My dogs are happy and healthy and my mom is caring for them, Plus they're both of our dogs so they are not solely my responsibility and I'm not dumping them on her. Either way, those situations are completely different.
