It had been a long day for Netta not only was she still trying to find her way among a group that would accept her but she had been hungry for some time now and hadn’t found a single thing to eat that was filling enough. Her pink eyes narrowed as she let out a tiny growl in frustrated hunger. “ Dang it! I’M SO HUNGRY.” She may have yelled that a little too loudly but who care…sometimes a gal just need to vent to get it off her chest.
After a filling and must delicious breakfast Kishi had wandered to close to the board lines again. It was generally frowned up nearing the edge as enemies were most likely to attack but that was going to stop her now that she was exploring. Besides there were pretty rocks to collect and that justified any berating she could get from the other felines of her tribe…well sorta. The thought of getting yelled at made her wince and lower her ears for a moment before she shook of the mental image. “Let’s not worry about the future but focus on the present!” And with that cheery motto in mind Kishi wander along the border ‘ooh’-ing and ‘aah’-ing with every stone she put in her bag.
After a few good minutes of kicking stones Netta decided to move further down and try to see if game were afoot there. Wiggling her slender body and stretching her muscles for a moment before she took off down the path at full tilt. This is what she loved about being a cheetah most, which was the suspense of the world rushing by so fast that if you blink you might miss something. After a few minutes she decided to stop not that she was tired or breathless it was just generally pretty in this area and it looked like it might hold something good to eat with its leafy area.
Kishi was just bending down when she spotted something shiny out of the corner of her eye. “Oh,” She cooed. “ Come to mama my little gem of beautyEE-” Out of nowhere she felt a set of teeth bite down on her tail and she let out a fierce roar from the pain as well as shock. Kishi gave a quick yank of her tail and was reward with a crash of a smaller feline body come crashing through the leaves. Her little ankle biter or in this case tail biter appeared to be dazed from the quick moment. Frowning fiercely looking down upon the female…cheetah she spoke. “Ouch.” She was about to open her more again but before could get another word in she watch in amazement as the other female fainted.
Her stomach growled angrily as she had yet to find something and she was beginning to feel a little bit light headed with every minute that passed. Sudden movement from a bush distracted her for a moment and was that a- “Mmm food.” She watched the wiggly appendage as if hypnotized and at the last second she pounced. Before she could react a loud roar startled her so much that she bit down even harder before she was pulled from her spot to out in the open. Terror filled her mind as she took in a pissed off lioness and then her voice started to blur as well as fade. ‘I guess I wore myself out take that run on an empty stomach.’ She thought before everything went dark.
"Great. What am I going to do with you?" Kishi wondered out loud, she looked to her left towards her home before looking back with a weary sigh. Kishi wasn't the type to leave anyone when they were vunerable. Some mostly would call that a weakness, but there were some that would say that was a strength. Never leave anyone behind. "Alright," Kishi bent down and lifted that other female with a mini groan. "Well at least you aren't that heavy." Jerking her body inorder to make sure the fainted body was on safely enough before heading off to a shady and well watered area. " You know I just wanted to collect rocks for the day, but no...here I am dealing with this situation. Guess it can't be helped."
The sound a female talking aroused her senses, but Netta chose to lay limp for a few minutes to access what was happening around her body. She...she had fainted. Ugh fainted like a rose how degrading. Peering inwardly at the reference of being small in physicality Netta almost forgave the way she had been treated like slung over ham. "Sorry to ruin your day-UGH." Netta rolled over the other females head and landed with a thump. "Owwie." Netta heard a giggle before it was silenced.
Kishi listened to the other females semi-slurred words and fall. This creature, this cheetah, was indeed an interesting thing and she found it kinda hard to stay angry. Plus Kishi wasn't one to hold negative feelings for too long and right now she felt amused. "Y'all alright? You should know better than to attack another with out accessing the area." The sound of a stomach growling caused the lioness to raise her eyebrow. "Would seem someone is hungry. If you follow me I can show you a place where the best eats are and then I have to be on my way."
Frowning a bit at the reprimand Netta almost opened her mouth to give back what she got but after a few minutes decided it wasn't worth it. "Yeah well...sorry about that lioness. I was just hungry is all and I thought your tail was another small creature." Netta's eyes narrowed at the suggestion, all the while thinking that was a mighty fine offer and there had to be some sort of a catch. "Sure... I'm starving." Netta spoke with caution before making her way over to the lioness. "Lead the way."
"'Kay, well hurry along I don't have all day." Kishi spoke as she began to make her way to a hidden area that contained, in her opinion, one of the best things she ever ate. "Well here you go. Enjoy the fruit, sorry about the lack of meat. Game tend to travel off to the west rather than this area, but some food is better than none so you can't be to picky. Bye." Kishi nodded a fairwell and she watched as the other female did the same before disappearing in the bush.
