Hel stared down at the wrapped package in her hands with a furrowed brow, and then back at the door she was currently standing in front of. In the demon dorms she was, and not to visit Xiu or Riyo or Charlie…no, she was here to see a certain spider demoness. She had mixed feelings honestly…and it was really no fault of Lizzy’s. Hel had been kind of uh…upset (yes, let’s put it that way) about the whole Mot-crush fiasco earlier…and then there was the awkward (lots of it) and the possible withholding of truthful feelings (hey, Hel still didn’t like getting touchy feely about how she felt, okay?).
As confused as the reaper might have been, there were quite a few things that stood out. Lizzy had comforted her when no one else did. That simple action in itself spoke volumes…and it was something Hel didn’t forget…it was that simple gesture really, that made the valkyrie hang in there. Thus she made a fist, and knocked on the door. Hopefully she’d be in…

Lizzy was, thankfully home and very much awake as she typed away at her laptop, a frown on her lips; that was all she ever does nowadays, coupled with the odd class here and there, or a trip to a friend's. After all, it was a project she was determined to keep afloat, even if it wasn't going as successfully as she had hoped it would be.
Since she wasn't expecting anyone, the knock on the door surprised her, and she hastily put away her laptop, patting down her hair before opening the door. She was even more surprised to see a face that she hadn't seen for a while, on the other side.
"Hel? It's been... A while!" She blinked, still in mild shock that the ghoul would come look for her, before smiling as the shock was replaced by happiness, "Come in!"

“ Lizzy.” Hel greeted with a nod of her head. Yes…it had been a while….quite a long while, actually. The ghoul looked a tad surprised at being let in, but once again she nodded her head to the spider demoness and entered her room. The reaper paused once she was in, looking down at the present before looking back at her. “… This is for you.” She held the wrapped package out to her. “… It ah…was suppose to make it to you around Christmastival but ah…you know.” She knew. All crazy things that had gone down. “ A happy belated Christmastival to you.” Once Lizzy unwrapped the package, she’d find this inside:

"For... Me?" She closed the door behind her, taking the package and staring at it for a while. When she looked back up at the reaper, there was a huge grin on her face, the present clutched tightly in one hand as she threw both arms around her for a hug, "Thank you! I'll treasure it!" Everything was right as rain!
"How are you?" She released her from the hug and moved over to her desk, gently putting the present down before spinning around to look at Hel again, "Been well enough, I hope?" With everything that's been going on...

“Yes, for you!” Hel echoed with a nod of her head. The ghoul blinked as Lizzy grinned widely at her, and then even proceeded to give her a hug like everything was normal. Hel returned it awkwardly at the moment. Did…Lizzy….she wasn’t…upset at her? “Ah…you are welcome…I am glad you like it.”
“…Uh…yes…I have been well…all things considered…” The valkyrie ended up trailing after the spider demoness a bit with a furrowed brow. Was everything really as right as rain? Hel hummed thoughtfully, pausing as she looked down. “…Lizzy.” The ghoul started, her voice oddly soft, but serious. Her brows furrowed more. Saying how she felt…yeah, it was still hard, but Lizzy…Lizzy deserved something. “…Lizzy I…I want to…apologize.” There. “…Looking back on it…I…how I treated you…was not the fairest, and for that I am sorry. There is no excuse.” Her mouth was pulled into a firm, grim line now as she waited to hear the ghoul’s response.

"Hm?" She tensed up when Hel became serious all of a sudden, but quickly relaxed when what she was saying sunk in; she had never really held it against the ghoul, since she never actually did anything terrible to her. Besides...
"I accept your apology," She smiled, thinking that Hel would want to hear at least that much from her, "And I am really happy for you and Mot! He was high as a kite when he told me." She giggled; sure, she was still heartbroken then, but it only showed how happy he was!

It was that easy? Really? Hel looked a bit stunned as she stared at Lizzy, and then blushed ever so lightly at her comment.
The ghoul reached up, rubbing the back of her neck as she glanced off to the side. “Ah…thank you, friend….” She straightened herself out, and placed her hands on her hips. You know…speaking of which, she had heard from someone that…well…her and Mac had split. Hel’s lips pulled into a frown. “…Lizzy…if I may…how are things between you and Mac…?” Best to get it straight from the skeletal horse’s mouth…

It was that easy. Really.
"Oh... Uh," She rubbed her hands together, looking away for a moment; by the time she looked back at Hel, her cheeks were a faint shade of pink, "He broke up with me... And then asked me to be his ghoulfriend again. I said yes, so... I suppose things are good between us now. It was a misunderstanding. He was being silly. Silly and stupid."
Very stupid.
"How are you and Mot?" She decided to shift the topic; besides, she was interested in how those two were getting along, from Hel's point of view.

Oooh…so he did break up with her. This had Hel’s brows furrowing…until Lizzy informed her that they got back together again. The reaper looked surprised, but relieved as well once she heard the reasoning. Misunderstanding…
Hel blinked as the topic was shifted back to her, and it was her turn to be blushing lightly once more, and she nearly scowled. The topic always did this to her, always. “…Good.” Her brows furrowed again a bit. “…Yes. Good.” Actually, there seemed to be some things on the ghoul’s mind. “…Lizzy.” Hel suddenly started, now settling cross legged onto Lizzy’s floor and peered up at the ghoul. “Do you think you will be married one day?”

Maybe it was the fact that she was seated on the floor, but Lizzy decided to join her, her back against the side of her bed, her legs pulled up to her chest. The question made her pause, and she blushed before nodding; after all, she thought of it pretty often enough.
"I want to be married one day," She admitted with a sheepish smile, "Don't most ghouls?"

Did…did Lizzy feel the same way she did?
A grin started to form on the valkyrie’s lips as she leaned forward, starting to get excited. “Ah, yes!” She nodded her head vigorously. “Lizzy! I need to be married!” There seemed to be urgency to her tone? “I am getting…older.” Now, Hel’s expression took a serious expression.

Hel's excitement was contagious, and the demoness soon found herself feeling rather excited too, especially since the topic was something she never knew Hel had an interest in... The reaper always seemed more like the 'battle' type than the 'marriage' type, although there was always the chance that she had an interested in both.
Lizzy tilted her head, looking slightly baffled, "... Well, all of us are getting older?" It didn't seem like a cause for concern! After all, they were all still pretty young by Halloween standards!

“Yes!” Hel cried out suddenly, leaning forward and staring at the demoness wide eyed. “That is it exactly! We are all getting older and thus I need to be married as soon as possible!”
The ghoul started to wag a finger at the spider demoness. “If I get any older, I will be less desirable!” Where was Hel getting this from!? “But also, sometime could happen to me in battle at any time! Many Brynhildr valkyries have been wed at a young age so that they could secure their legacy and their homes and their families!” Was it also sad Hel seemed dead serious about this?

"As soon as possible?" She blinked, wondering if Hel was joking. However, the serious look on her face said otherwise, and Lizzy couldn't help but feel the need to calm her down... Which might be why she inched closer to the ghoul and gave her a few pats on her back.
"But, Hel! Is Mot ready to get married? For such a big responsibility?" She would like to be married like any other ghoul, but not now; more like sometime in the future.

Hel didn’t seem to mind Lizzy’s patting hand at all and just leaned even closer to the ghoul. While the pats didn’t calm her down…the words did. Hel paused, and then frowned deeply as her brow furrowed. The ghoul scowled lightly.
“Mot says he might be wed in future…but not for a very long time.” Hel sat there, looking like she had just swallowed a bug, before she exploded once more. “I do not have time, Lizzy! What if…what if an epic battle happens tomorrow and I cease to exist permanently!” Waaay too over dramatic. “I will die…unwed!” This was very devastating indeed.
