Today, he found himself chilling in the cafeteria, poking at the food that he had placed in front of him, on the table; he was still trying hard to get used to the... Below average food provided by the school, seeing how he was still setting up his kitchen and had yet to get groceries. However, despite his short stay in Amityville, he had already heard a lot about how some of the food provided in this very cafeteria were prone to come to life and walk away.
Honestly, that was the sole reason why he even bought anything.
"How long do you think it'll take?" He asked, gently stroking the top of his familiar's head, enjoying the feel of her cool and relatively smooth scales.
"I'm not sssssure," Came the reply from the snake draped around his shoulder, parts of her body was coiled around one arm, "Are you ssssure about the rumorssss?" Food should be dead! Dead things don't come back to- Oh right. Undeads.
... Undead food?
Biskoto wasn't sure she liked the idea of waiting for something to happen anymore.

The food really never bothered Tahki to much. Mostly because she had the delight of being a predator who enjoyed food that put up a little fight. Either that or just plain raw meat was fine. There was nothing special about today, nope. It was just one of those days where you wake up, shower, skip breakfast on account of leveling your mage character in a certain interweb game, and then remember your hungry so you stumble to the cafeteria.
And thats where our hero was right now. Tray in hand and bland expression pressed hard on her face, Tahki was read for some food. She held up her tray and was served large chunks of red jiggly meat. The jiggling didn't concern her all that much. Though, when one of the pieces started to crawl like a slug, that got a brow raise. Tahki stuck a knife in it and wandered up front to pay and then went to find a seat.
Or she tried... instead, she bumped in to a figure with a rather large snake. Her tray pressed up nice and firmly to her chest causing a huge mess on her and the floor. Tahki hadn't noticed. She was frozen.

Thanatos' first response was to get up; when he turned and saw the ghoul and her tray, his first thought was filled with concern... For himself. It would be bad if something had got on his coat! He imagined that it would be impossible to clean up.
Biskoto, on the other hand, was more concerned about the ghoul, raising her head and extending out towards the students, "Are you okay, darling?" She might also had poked Thanatos with her tail, as if to get him to offer some help.
"Right," He muttered before taking hold of the tray, pulling it away from her and moving it over to the table, "Come on, let's get you cleaned up... Monster dorms?" She looked like a monster.

The gryphon was still pretty petrified even when the figures snake seemed to ask about her dorm. She was still taking in him and the snake around his neck. Breathing only came to her when the figure him self started to speak. "...." Her mouth opened but no words came out. Cleaned up? Why did she - oh s**t. The tray. Tahki's eyes darted down to the splatter that was clinging on to her and the floor. Her cheeks lit up red as red could get. " O-oh no.. Did I do that?" It was a dumb question. Tahki knew it was a dumb question before it even came out of her mouth. That didn't stop her from asking though. "Oh.. uh.. yeah. Monster dorm?" This time it came out as a question. To an observer it would almost seem that Tahki was trying to troll or something. But Tahki was just so terrified of social interaction and what she had just caused that her awkward meters were off the charts.

Thanatos had to resist the urge to face palm, or pinch his nose and show some form of mild frustration. Of course, it helped that the ghoul was actually, on closer inspection, rather pretty. The whole episode... Also struck him as being kind of cute, in its own little way.
Mostly because his clothing didn't get dirty in the process.
"You did," He laughed, relaxing a little as he grinned, now more amused than upset at the situation, "The tray didn't hit your head, did it? You seem a little confused."
Biskoto just frowned, somehow managing it despite the fact that she looked like she was constantly smiling most of the time, tongue flicking in and out of her mouth as she hovered near Tahki, giving her a gentle nudge on her shoulder, "Come on, darling! Back to your room we go! You poor thing... I'm ssssorry if we frightened you!"

The gryphons cheeks flushed a little red. All this help and she barely knew this reaper. It made her feel like there might be some hope left in socializing... maybe. There was a shy nod. "Alright... yeah.. Um... Its okay I need to just not .. uh." Talking was just a little hard for the gryphon. Unless if the subject was about some kind of video game or something. She was terrible forming sentences. But she promised Bul she'd be braver. Her hands balled in to fists, she looked Thantos in the eyes and gave him a nod. "R-Right! Lets go!" Tahki grabbed his hand, " Its this way."

Thanatos was beginning to wonder if this school just filled with interesting, entertaining ghouls; despite the fact that his family home was filled with them, they had never really entertained him as much. Then again, they did all grow up in the same sort of setting, and taught the same set of morals... The students here were just simply more diverse in background and upbringing. Perhaps coming here was a good idea, after all.
"For someone so bold," He chuckled, grinning when she took his hand and started dragging him away from the mess, which he assumed would be cleaned up by some gnomes later, "You seemed to have forgotten to introduce yourself." He moved a little faster to walk by her side, offering her his free hand, "I am Thanatos, and my familiar here is Biskoto."
"It'sssss a pleassssure to meet you!" The snake perked up when she heard her name, lifting her head to look in the ghoul's direction.

"Bold?" Tahki looked back over to Thanatos a bit shocked at what she was hearing. No one head used that word to describe her before. At least Tahki was pretty sure no one had ever used that word to describe her. And then he let her her know she had yet to introduce him self only to proceed to introduce him self and his familiar. Tahki's cheeks flashed a little red from embarrassement. Here she'd grabbed a students hand who she hardly knew with out first introducing her self. It was awful manners on her part. "T-Tahki.. Tahki Yuki is my full but just Tahki's fine," Her golden eyes wandered to the familiar snake. "Uh.. Like wise. S-s-sorry. I just.. I don't know uh.." Be brave be brave! Don't be sorry, " A-any ways thank you for helping me both of you." She couldn't stop staring at Biskoto.

Thanatos looked like he was about to say something, but Biskoto seemed to think that allowing him to do so would be a bad idea, and decided to cut him out before he could even speak, "Oh, no worriessss, darling! Glad that we could help! Tahki issss a beautiful name." She smiled, tongue flicking in and out at the ghoul.
"Indeed," The reaper eyed his familiar before letting out a rather audible sigh, not that it had an effect on the snake, who seemed to have taken an interest in the ghoul's... Well, interest in her.
"Have you never ssssseen a sssssnake before, darling?" She asked, tilting her head at the ghoul as she let out a series of soft hisses which sounded a little like she was giggling, "I've never met one of your kind before... What are you?" She hoped that she didn't sound too blunt or rude; she was just curious!

" Uh.. T-thank you both," She gave a polite nod of her head in thanks. Tahki never really thought of her name as beautiful. Despite that fact, she still felt pretty happy to hear that it was. The gryphon was very good at staying modest though and did not remark on it again. "Biskoto's very beautiful too. I've never heard a name like that before," Tahki was very well trained in being polite. Having been raised with a mentality where you only spoke when spoken too really helped shape her politeness. "Oh. I've seend snakes before but not one like you. " There was a pause, "But I'm very happy to meet one like you. Oh .. Umm .. I'm an Arctic Gryphon. Nothing to exciting I suppose." They were nearing the gryphons room now. Tahki took a key from her side pouch and unlocked the door. "Would you both like to come in?"

"It meansssss bisssscuit in Greek!" The snake hissed softly, as if giggling at what her name stood for, since there really was no connection between a snake like her and a food-product like the biscuit, "But thank you, darling! That'sss very sssweet of you to say!" She was genuinely flattered, "Well, I've never met an Arctic Gryphon before... Sssso I think that it'sssss really exciting to meet one."
When they stopped at a door, Thanatos was at least polite enough to take a step back, giving Tahki her space as she opened the door to what he could only assume was her room.
"Don't mind if I do," He chuckled, standing behind the ghoul and practically holding the door open for her, "After you? It is your room, after all."

Her name stood for biscuit. That actually brought a smile to Tahki's face. Mostly because the snakes name was biscuit. The gryphon refrained from asking if Biskoto had been given her name from her reaper or if she was born with that name. It didn't seem like a polite sort of thing to ask. Thantos surprised Tahki by holding the door open for her. Not many of the students here were well versed in being a gentleman. This lead Tahki to the conclusion that Thantos must come from a nice upbringing. "It is my room," She smiled and took a step inside. There were trinkets of gold and diamond and many other gems just scattered around the room. Things hung from the ceiling of crystals and other trinkets that shined casting light all the which way around the gryphons room. Most of the treasure was chaotically organizied in the side of Tahki's room in to a nest like thing. Tahki was a gryphon after all and gryphons were treasure protectors at heart. Among all the treasure were screens and video games and a very impressive computer. There was a mini fridge some where under a pile of laundry. There was no wonder Tahki almost never left her room. The gryphon was at her closet now and tossing this and that aside to find an outfit to wear. "It was very kind of you both to come and help me." Tahki pointed to a bed. A real bed with a mattress and covers and even a pillow that was half hidden under many jewels and laundry. "If you want to take a seat theres a bed." To say the least. Tahki was a chaotic mess.

While he hadn't been to many rooms, he had lived in a place with females who were very particular about neatness. There was always at least one person in every room, cleaning it. Even his own room was neat and tidy; mostly due to habit, but also because he liked it that way. However, despite the mess in Tahki's room, he wasn't really bothered; it would be difficult to tidy up all this stuff, anyway.
"You must be quite the gamer," He commented, looking at the collection of video games, as well as at the computer, as he looked around, "It's a rather impressive collection of titles." When directed to a bed, he wordlessly nodded and proceeded to take a seat on a not-covered-with-stuff part of it.
"Oh, not at all, darling!" Biskoto piqued up; while the treasures all looked the same to her, even she could tell that it was a rather cluttered room, "It wassss Thanatossss' food that caussssed the messss, after all! I hope it doessssn't leave a ssstain!"

The state of the gryphons room was largely due to her being used to servants cleaning for her. This spoiled treatment had taken a toll on Tahki's perception of how to be neat when it came to her room. Double this with the fact she was a full blown gryphon and you had one very messy room on your hands. Tahki didn't seem to notice the mess. It was normal - there were no maids here to help after all. "Games?" She blinked and looked to Thantos. A small twinkle in her eye shown before she went on about games. And she did. About a million miles per second Tahki's mouth ran on and on and on about the latest and greatest titles. The roleplayer had to cut the rant out of the reply because it was just to much to type all at once. " ...AND THEN THE PART WHERE THEY FINALLY SAVE THE PRINCE BUT THE PRINCE IS A DEMON .. " And on and on and on and on, " ... AND THE DOVAKIN!! AND THE .." AND ON, " .. AND THEN I ONCE USED A CHEAT WHERE I WAS A A FLAMINGO FOR HALF A LEVEL ! IT WAS BRILLIANT! AND THEN ..." And on she went. You probably get the idea. By the time she was finished, the gryphon had turned blue in the face from all that talking . Her voice was a little hoarse as well. ".. S-sorry.." She turned to her closet and pulled an outfit out only to walk back in the closet. She closed the door behind her, got changed and through the dirty laundry in to a basket. Half of it missed and ended up on the floor. Tahki didn't seem to notice. "Oh... st-staining.. You thing thats a problem? How does one .. prevent this staining?"

Biskoto's eyes were wide as she listened, hissing a gasp once in a while; she did not understand what Tahki was going on about, but the excitement was certainly contagious!
On the other hand, Thanatos listened to Tahki's game rant with a bemused smile plastered on his face, allowing her to go on and on without any interruptions; it was funny how a soft spoken, seeming shy ghoul like her could... Well, have a word explosion like that. It was as if her love and excitement for games had overshadowed her introvert personality for the time being... And like he expected, it didn't last. She soon went back to "normal".
"Oh, don't apologize," He grinned, "That was a very entertaining story." Or rather, it was really entertaining to watch her. Biskoto simply nodded in agreement, although she really was referring to the story; she liked it, as confusing as it was!
"Oh, I don't think staining would be a problem at all," He recalled the food that he had on the tray, "It shouldn't stain, as long as you wash that by tomorrow."
