 Seraph scoffed and lazily swished her tail back and forth, she was currently sitting up on a tree branch and watching life interact from below her. Nothing exiting was going on at all. Her old man was off doing some babysitting of her new aunts and uncles or something like that. Most likely he was hiding from her grandfather. Her twin sisters were off wooing their own men, thank the modeities and Damian was out doing what ever damian did most of the time. Personally she didn’t think she had ever said one word to her brother, which was fine with her Seraph was hardly the family person. Now she just needed something to entertain her. There had been that one daeva boy, but as soon as any one her kind found out she was part phim and half normal they left with their noses up in the air.
Daeva’s annoyed the crap out of her, you weren’t a pureblood and their haughty attitude because less than desired. She often liked when she handed them their a** the look of disbelief on her face. To put her in an even worse mood she had just come from talking with her sisters about love and other such crap. So what if they where on their way to being in a tribe or being mated, obviously it wasn’t for Seraph at the moment or she would have shacked up with a guy. With a huff she violently whacked her tail against the tree again.

 Kairon made his way through the forest. It was another hot day, too hot for flying in fact. He knew he would be able to travel farther and faster if he flew but that would bring him closer to the sun... a place he didn't want to be right now. He was already hot even under the shade of the trees who keeping him company... for now. He moved slowly, one foot after the other gliding through the trees like a wave on water. His red coat the color of roses with a gold pattern could easily been seen considering the forest around him was in full bloom for summer. Many small animals moved out of his way knowing what was good for them making his walks so much simpler. He hated telling some mindless fool to get out of his path. So far he had yet to run into any unlike the mountains he had just passed through. Full of nothing but fools. They were lucky they managed to get out alive wile his attention had been caught elsewhere.
Slowing to a stop he took the tame to take in his sights. He had been here once before with his sister. Thats why he reconized the area and knew where he was going. He had come here with his little sister to look for something. What it was he could not remember. They were memories long past. His tail moved lightly from side to side as he scanned over the area. To his right would lead to a clearing where there as a rather large lake. That would mean water and food. Straight had him continuing on up to another mountain path and left did not concern him at all.

Perhaps she could go swimming, or if she found a small pool of water she could easily heat up the water and turn it into a miniature little hot springs, well maybe just the cool water would be okay, the sun was unbearably hot today which was weird considering the season and all but then weird weather did seem to be happening lately. Maybe Atiya would be around to play with. However ever she so doubted that considering Atiya had her own mate to torment and play with. Well play with at least Seraph wasn’t so sure about the whole tormenting part. Hmmm the woodland animals seemed to be worked up today considering a few had just run past her. She looked rather non-threatening at the moment with her hair covering most of her face and her flames stored. She wondered if that was a half breed trait being able to store your flames, other daeva she had seen had their flames on all the time. Then again it could be because they were showing off.
She could call her flames forth and scare the animals even more, but then what was the fun in that. They where already worked up and tormenting them when she hadn’t started the condition in the first place just wasn’t amusing to her. Flying could be an option but then again she could fly when ever she wanted, it was nice some times to just walk around the ground like she didn’t have wings. Suddenly something bright crimson red caught her attention. She raised an eye brow that her day seemed to be throwing her company if only for a few seconds and with a daeva at that. She silently stood there under the shadows watching him. It was always nice to gauge your prey, ahem company first.

Feeling thirsty and and a little hungry he decided to go right. Though he could have easily snatched up any of the small creatures running by him who were scared of him. They were of no concern considering they were small and would in no way fill him up. He made his way down out of the trees and took to the right heading down toward the lake. Just as he took another step he could feel eyes on him that made him stop walking. He glanced up in the direction he felt the eyes on him and spotted another daeva. This one was female. What was it with him and meeting females on his travels?

Well looks as if the Daeva had spotted her, now that left a few options in which to do. She could nonchalantly walk over and take a sip of water too, but really that was way too over rated and came across as flirty. Of course just staying there and watching him like a stalker could be amusing but then again she wasn’t in the mood to act creepy just at this time and say he was of a bad temperament, which was highly likely the male being a daeva after all she wasn’t quite in the mood to fight, it was way too hot for that. So she should test the grounds then? Well that left the very boring response of greetings. Ah well she would learn something from it at least. “mmm Hello there” she replied in a slightly neutral tone.

Kairon watched her closely. He would rather avoid a fight seeing as it was pointless to fight with a female and a waste of his time. However, if it was a fight she was after he would gladly give her one. He was too proud to turn down a fight and couldn't stand loosing to a female or to any other Daeva. He stood there for a moment as his tail moved from side to side. If she made any motioned to come at him fanges bared and claws flashing he would give her a run for her money. Of course rather then start a fight she had said a simple greeting but that meant nothing to him. He stood tall and kept his eyes on her.
"Greetings..." Was all she would get from him. At the moment.

Seraph raised an eyebrow at the response and held back a disappointed point. “Oh that was such a boring answer. Why couldn’t he give something more interesting? Then again she noticed he looked pretty guarded. Was he expecting an attack? Pfft shouldn’t even bother Attacking was way too obvious one should always mess with an opponents mind and then push them into the waterhole they where drinking on. Of course that would lead to him attacking her most likely and a chase which would be decided by how much smaller and nibble she was versus his strength to carrying his muscle weight. Not interesting either. Ugh why did she have to meet a stick in the mud. Just her luck, then again it was better than meeting a daeva like her twin sisters Seraph might have just jumped off a cliff and into the ocean if that was the case.
Well time to learn more about him. “So kind of hot out today isn’t it?

He noticed her raised eyebrow at his words and began to wonder if this female was even worth his time. By her reaction she had ether not been expecting him to talk to her, or she was already board with him. Ether way he would know if she chose to speak to him. If she did then perhaps she was worth the time. If she didn't then he could care less and he would move on with his day. For a moment they had both stood there in silence so he was getting ready to turn and leave when she had finally spoken up. He glanced back at her.
"I suppose it is." When he had started out this morning he had not expected it to get so hot out. He was starting to regret coming out here. "Do you enjoy this heat?" He found himself asking her. She didn't seem to mind it so and by the way she asked him it seemed like she was just trying to start random conversation.

“Not really, I prefer colder weather and night time however. The way you look right now I would venture a guess that you aren’t as comfortable with the heat as I am. I would suggest heading towards the ocean a bit from here” Seraph stated. Then again if you weren’t used to the area you could get pretty lost. That would be slightly entertaining to watch, a big proud daeva male getting lost. On to other thoughts the idea of going to the ocean wasn’t that bad. After all it was always cooler there and there was lots of fun flying to do. Plus seagulls to torment.
“Almost wish for the weather to make up its mind. Yesterday It was windy and stormy.” Seraph sighed. Well at least he was talking back, that was good. She’d hate to have silent pain in the butt, those where just the worse. She would have attempted the pushing him into that lake if that was the case.

"You would be correct." She was a lot smarter then she seemed. He would rather put up with cold weather then hot. "The ocean?" He glanced away. "I see. When I arrived here I did not think I would need to ravel near water." It was clear that he was wrong. He didn't think that the heat would be so bad here. He looked back up at her. "The weather is a strange thing... I no not normally concern myself with it but in this case I think I will take your advice and head to the ocean."

Seraph was about to wave him off and go towards the ocean herself wondering if he would get horribly lost trying to get there. Most likely, after all it was half the reason she had offered to take him. However there was that annoying small part of her that still had phim blood and she looked away almost sneering. Oh modeities how she hated that nagging part of her blood some times.
“yeah Summers will get you all the time. They just seem to keep getting hotter and hotter speaking of water though. You might want to be careful getting to the ocean is a hard task if you don’t know the area. Wouldn’t want you dying of heatstroke so close to freedom” she warned.
