I love the different hand-made textures you use in the first one! The second one has great blending. And the third is so detailed. The ref-to-finished product is very impressive. I love how it's stylistic and still so true to life. ^_^

Your work is amazing!
I can guarantee that there are allot of admirers who feel it goes without saying that they think you are gifted. smile That is usually how it is anyway...

I really wish I had the patience to do stippling, I really admire that technique. I haven't been able to finish a stippled pic since I was 17... but even then, I wasn't as good as the example you gave... It is awesome.

Thanks! I had been having difficulties with it myself. This is the first time I'd tried stippling. Looking at some Virgil Finlay definitely helped me-- the man is a genius. I recommend checking his stuff out if you ever want to try stippling again.

Tres awesome! I love the under-lighting. You could blend the shades a bit more, but it's still pretty darn cool. cool
