In this kind of weather, Sheldon really didn't want to go anywhere near the outside unless it was life or death - which usually meant food or something. He barely got close to the windows and just made himself a little nest on the couch and played video games all day. True, this is what he did normally, but usually not with so many blankets and sweaters and anything he had warm.
So when he got the call from his angry boss to go check on her store in the ridiculous amounts of snow. Yeah, Sheldon wasn't too happy. He had tried to protest, but with Gail it was really hard and she had a fair point. He was closer to the location than she was - and really he had done this plenty of times before so he should stop complaining and get off his a** and do what she paid him for [at least he was going to get double for the day, which was something in itself since it was going to be closed anyways due to the weather].
Bundled up in as many layers as he could, and the warmest hat and scarf, the green haired youth trudged through the snow - 'cause his bike wasn't going to make it - two miserable blocks to make sure the That Store On the Corner was still standing and there was no forced entry by the white stuff.
Which it hadn't, which is never was each time he had to do this - it was always fine... it was practically built like a fort or something. By now he was trying to figure out a way inside and trying to find a shovel or something to get himself to the side door and inside so he could go through the stock. Sheldon wasn't having the best of times at this. "Hnn.... shovel..." he muttered as wisps of his breathe drifted into the air.

It was too cold, even for him. Despite his layers to his uniform, the harsh weather was making the wind whip through the streets and nearly threw him a few times. Jumping was hazardous now when a simple gust could throw him and or against a wall. Worse yet, his heels had very little traction when it happened, and he wound up falling on his a** a few too many times to count. In the end, he was done. He didn't feel any energy signatures aside from a ice youma and he already felt a cold coming on. It was just his poor choice that he went a little father than he would have liked, and was slowly moving his way out, keeping watch or anything that might make the night, and probably eventual cold, worth it. The only living thing he saw was a boy, dressed in enough layers that he probably wouldn't have been able to sit back up if knocked over, looking around a store. Lotter? Theif? Someone homeless wanting to find a place to break into to stay warm for the night?
Whatever the cause, it was at least a source of energy, and he might as well check things out.
Jumping down, he started to walk over, the wind the only noise as most cars were not tearing rubber or doing any driving at the risk of hitting a pole. It was nice but unsettling to see the streets empty and the world this quiet, and sometimes he wondered if he was the only one alive - and then some drunkard would stumble out of a still open bar. However, this street was clear, coated in snow that was still coming down, and Wolframite moved until he was near the boy, hearing him mutter about a shovel, and knew that this was no burglar. They didn't tend to tidy up, unless he wanted an easy way to get in. Maybe that was it.
Reaching into a pile of snow, Wolframite pulled out a shovel and then looked over. "Awfully cold to be shoveling in this weather." Usually the businesses waited till the snow was done falling. Wait............didn't he.....run into this boy before?

Sheldon was about to start muttering obscenities when he heard a voice from behind him. The owner sounded young, gruff ... and awfully familiar that the green haired boy halted suddenly and raised an eyebrow. "It's not when your boss threatens to fire you if ... you.. don't check on the store..." He tested as he slowly turned around the face the new person - might as well make a jab back? He hadn't expected to encounter anyone and definitely didn't expect to encounter someone in Wolframites' attire, which had caused his statement to slowly die on his lips.
Who dressed as a frilly pirate in this kind of weather? This guy was mocking him for shoveling, dressed like that? Sheldon was tempted to laugh really, got half of one out in a sort of snort. And then he noticed the shovel, "oh thank god," he sighed in relief and moved towards the smaller male to get it out of his hands.
Obviously Sheldon did not totally remember this particular Negaverse Agent. Well, partly because he was a wee bit high but he was always horrible with faces.

The officer held out the shovel, and when the boy reached out for it, he kept his grip, not letting it loosen. He wanted him to stay close, and being in uniform, he had the added strength boost that came with it. Not giving up the shovel, he narrowed his eye and really got a good look at the boy's face. Green hair. Red eyes. It tingled in the back of his memory, and he remembered an encounter. A mirror. A princess that got in the way, and a dumb boy he was trying to steal a starseed from. After all this time, he wondered how he even remembered, but it was that strange princess that caused that memory to stick.
"You don't remember me, do you?" He asked, keeping his grip on the shovel.

Sheldon was surprised with the sudden game of tug of war. It was incredibly one sided and honestly he never would have expected such a small teenager to have such strength behind him. Maybe that's how he got away with dressing like he did? Because he could open a can of unexpected whoop-a** to someone who dared mock him? He tried another tug, but the dark haired boy really was adamant with not letting him have it.
What a d**k!
Sheldon frowned, and even further with Wolfamite's question. He blinked and gave the other boy a good look over. Really, nothing was coming to mind. The ribbons though. "I guess your voice does sound kind of familiar," he answered honestly, "but no?"
He wasn't getting the shovel was he? This other guy was probably the type that got really sour when someone didn't remember them. Awesome.

He continued just watching as the green-haired boy continued to pull on the handle of the shovel, and for a moment, Wolframite felt his heart race and the corners of his lips turn at seeing how futile his efforts were. He really was stronger this way. Ladon could never do this, but here, as a General, he was strong. Then he was reminded that even in this form, he was vulnerable, and what smile that was about to arrive was extinguished, the delicious moment gone. Back then, it had been a mirror princess that stopped him, but now, in the cold, dark of winter, he felt nothing around.
"Familiar? I guess you wouldn't be standing this close if you did remember me, but things have changed. The outfit, the weather..." It had been summer when he saw this boy. "....and there is no mirror girl about. Oh, but I can help refresh your memory. There are still a few things that don't change."
He reached his free hand out, and it shot with practice and determination right into Sheldon's chest. "Remember this?" He reached deeper in, and felt his fingertips brush against it. "I do." He had touched his starseed before, and the simple fact that it once escaped him felt as if this was a time to make up for it. This boy should have died ages back, and here he was again. He got his second chance. Wolfy was collecting now.

Azzo had been walking to the store, hoping that he could find one open. Coming out of an Alleyway he stopped cold and backed right back into the alley before he could be seen by either Wolframite or Sheldon. He'd seen enough negas to know for sure that's what was standing in the street with a civilian. His hands formed fists as he quickly transformed.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." He warned the Nega officer stepping out from the safety of the alleyway now as a squire. Chain in hand, he couldn't help but wonder was that Wolframite? Niflhel's eyes narrowed further. He had a bone to pick with this one. "Still putting your hand in places it doesn't belong. I'd thought you would've learned a lesson by now."
The Squire didn't waver despite the fact that the power coming from the nega was at least at the same level as an eternal senshi. Niflhel wasn't about to let Wolframite get away with this no matter the power difference.

The shovel was now long forgotten, and really Sheldon wanted to ask this boy what he was going on about about some mirror girl - he really only managed half of his question before the hand plunged into his chest.
The cold, the pain, how his breath just escaped his body all at once and never wanted to come back. How he wanted to scream but there was no voice in his throat to do it. It all came flooding back to him, even if it was all in a layer of haze. That weird night, the boy in the frilly outfit, kicking him and the girl with the peppers who had saved him.
"Oh..." he rasped, trying so hard to fall down to his knees but just couldn't find the strength. It was odd how he could almost feel his pupil dilating, or maybe that's because like last time things were getting fuzzy but without the aid of marijuana.
Sheldon was aware of someone else coming upon this strange scene, his ears barely making out what Niflhel was really saying to be sure of what side he was on. Here to save him, hopefully.

The 'oh' made him smile, and he was happy to see that the boy remembered at least this much. This sort of feeling, one all the Negaverse felt their first day of becoming a member, was not one you just let get fuzzy. The pain he saw spread across the boy's face was one he could empathize with, but did that make him more merciful? No. In the beginning, it had been hard, but starseeds were sometimes easy to pluck now that he wondered if he dropped a few precious marbles along the way to be able to preform the task without throwing up. It wasn't necessary now, but it was nice to give the general public a reminder. Sheldon just happened to be the lucky contestant for the evening.
At the appearance of a new figure, not quiet senshi and only vaguely hinting at something else, did Wolframite release, but then he grabbed the boy's shirt to hold him up. "A lesson? I think you're the one making a grave mistake to interrupt me." He wasn't amused, and wasn't in the mood to play.
"Aragwain!" The snow rose up as a black mound rose up from the snow, and dusted with the pure powder, stood a black figure dressed in glistening, obsidian armor. Small runes etched on it's armor and helm, but were hardly as eye-catching as the massive lance it had to serve as one of it's arms. It grunted deep and low, like a heavy exhale, in response to it's summoning.
"Now...what was that about being places you don't belong?" Wolframite asked, smiling.

Niflhel's eyes narrowed as Wolframite seemed to question him and then add fuel to the fire. "Let him g--" There was a pause as black figure rose up from the snow.
Oh damnit.... This was not what Niflhel was looking for tonight. The Lance was clearly going to be a challenge. The knight summoned his chain, "You should just give up while you can!" he called, eyes narrowing and feet set as if he wasn't afraid of the massive youma in front of him. He was determined to save Sheldon.

Well, at least someone was happy about this situation; of course Wolframite would be. That was a stupid statement to think about, though it was a little hard to think about much with a hand in his chest touching what a few of those short skirted girls had claimed to be his soul and basic essence of being.
When the shorter boy finally pulled his hand out, air seemed to come back to Sheldon all at once. He coughed and wheezed, not caring that he was still pretty much a hostage in this situation, held by his collar by someone who looked like he was a twelve year old pirate.
There was talking between the two, he realized. Tired yellow eyes glancing up to see who was on the way to save him - someone equally as flashy, awesome! But there was another problem... that big... thing. Wonderful, this rescue attempt was going wonderful! Sheldon could feel his body slump a little, probably more of of fatigue though.

Wolframite was unimpressed. "Aww. Look at that. Your chain is adorable? I wonder if Aragwain can floss his teeth with it, though I'm sure your bones will work as a nice toothpick." He smiled at the knight. Usually he would be more willing to listen, as he had been trying to learn more about the knights, but this one bothered him and he was in no mood. Sheldon was overdue to have his starseed taken, and he felt that seeing him again used up what second chance he shouldn't have been offered in the first place. All he'd have to do is smack his head on the payment after and it could look as if he slipped on some ice and had a freak accident. Easy as that.
"Kill him." Wolframite ordered, and went back to look at the slumped boy in his arms. "How about we go inside?" He noticed a window, shrugged, and took the shovel to throw it through. With that, he jumped inside. Okay. So now he'd have to make it look as if Sheldon was mugged, but no biggie there either. One lie for another. "How much do you value your life?" He asked the boy in his hands.
Aragwain adjusted his position, and with a huff of breath that floated from his mask, he dived forward, sending his lance striking out in Nifhel's direction.

"Adorable?" Niflhel wrinkled his nose in distaste for the word. "I find that your eye patch is also rather.... Becoming. Perhaps I can take that and give it to a cat I know."
He cracked the chain together in his hands. Niflhel dodged the lance but barely feeling it slash across his arm. The knight brought a swift kick towards the monster's side. This wasn't going to be too fair of a fight if he only he could get his hands on a bat or something extra to aid him. Of course the chain would be at least semi-useful.
"You just wait you little frilly pirate. I will bring you to JUSTICE." He screamed after Wolframite.

Sheldon was oddly wondering how strong this kid really was to be able to hold him up for this long and to be able to continuously mock whoever had come to ... maybe save the day. "I ... would.. rather not..." The green haired boy wheezed in a futile attempt. If he had anything else to add, it really died right there as the General broke through the window of the convenient store.
The color that had managed to return, drained from Sheldon's face once more. If he managed to live through this, Gail was going to kill him instead.
He was inside with little to no protest, his body limp and noodle-like as the other boy continued to taunt him. Sheldon lazily lifted his fatigued eyes to the one good green one, his brows pushing together, "I... rather like it..." Was his weak reply. Really, he couldn't complain. Did he value it? "Kind of a.. stupid question..."
Why was he still even talking? This was probably kind of pointless. Death was coming to him by either this guys hands or his boss' the next day. But Sheldon still found himself groping for something.. anything on the floor that he could use to maybe give himself some more time on this plane of existence. The guy outside was preoccupied, even though there were shouts seeping in... about justice...

Argwain, for all his mass, was not quick as all that, and while he had the force, a train was hard to move. His lance struck the vacant cement, cracking and sending large slabs jabbing up. Grunting, he turned to see where he had been kicked. The knight managed to use his slim leg to hit between his armor, where dark flesh was exposed. It wasn't anything to make him limp, but it did agitate him.
Digging out his lance, he stood up straight once more and then slowly turned, aimed for the knight, and dove his entire weight down into the force of his arm and at where Nifhel currently was standing.
As for Wolframite, he was gritting his teeth. He wasn't a damn pirate. STUPID EYEPATCH! He was going to KILL Castor for that!!!! "What a worthless excuse. Not even a bit of fight for your very being. Your starseed isn't even going to make a worthwhile snack for the youma." He summoned his chain.
"...and what did you say? I had a stupid question?" He carried the boy over to drop him, and then kicked him while he was down. "How about this one? Which one would you prefer. My chain choking you until your throat breaks under the pressure or would you rather prefer my serrated blades slicing across all your puffy layers of insulation and spilling you out onto this floor? Hmm? Oh and DO tell me if you think THAT is a stupid question." Because if the boy continued to call him stupid, then he'd prove who was the stupid one here.
