And the stadium is chosen...
CITY STREETS FIELD!
Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road are sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there. Fake building walls, complete with broken glass windows and grime lining the surface, limit the amount of maneuverable space on land. Trash cans and trash bags decorate the street. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air which, unfortunately, helps spread the horrible stench of the trash.

As Jenk entered the arena, it was with no anger, nor happiness. A neutral calm had settled over Jenk in the past few days and try as she might, it wouldn't shake. Something was desperately, achingly wrong back home, but whatever it was she couldn't pin down. Her brothers swore nothing was wrong. They also didn't have her keen instincts. Still, calling home so often only bothered the boys, and her father had taken to clipped sentences when she called too much in one day's time. So she came to the arena, looking to unleash some steam and, hopefully, meet an opponent who might rouse her out of the lethargy.
As she climbed to the platform, she watched the stadium as it was randomized. Smiling a little, she pulled a Pokeball off of her belt. It'd certainly be a challenge for the pokemon inside, but she was glad. The old girl could use some good exercise.

Shina coughed and quickly tied a perfumed kerchief around her mouth and nose. The stench alone was nearly enough for a knock out! Anna seemed to have no such issues, and darted out onto the cracked asphalt.

When Jenk saw her opponent, she smiled slightly. "Smells putrid, right?" She laughed from her end. "Let's make this one quick, before one of us faints from the fumes!"
She threw her Pokeball out into the arena, and Cersei, her shiny Murkrow, was unleashed onto the battle field. Crowing, Cersei circled the stadium before landing deftly to await her trainer's command, eyes piercing Anna suspiciously. She had seen these rodents before, and Cersei was not thrilled to be battling one.
Just meant she'd have to end it quickly, didn't it.

Not waiting for the formalities, Anna bounded forward and released a burst of electricity. Battle the birdie!

Jenk should've known to watch for the electric attacks, but Cersei wouldn't learn to avoid them if she didn't have the chance. This one, though... It was a hard one to avoid. Cersei screeched when the electricity hit her, nearly dropping before she managed to shake it off. Hissing in her own way at Annabell, she took to the sky.
Jenk smiled inwardly. "Toxic, Cersei!" She called.
The bird circled over Annabell before unleashing a gob of toxic spit at the furret. With any luck, it'd hit the stupid rodent right in the eye!

Cersei was momentarily pleased at the attack's strike, but it was quickly jolted out of her -- pun intended -- when the shockwave hit her again. Try as she might to outfly it, she couldn't, and soon the bird dropped like a ton of bricks. Jenk grimaced.
Electric attacks were a pain.
Still, she wouldn't give up. "Cersei! Psychic!"
A weak krow was her answer. Shaking off the electric jolts, Cersei straightened up, and pierced the Furret with a piercing stare, focusing in until, finally, an invisible force struck at the Furret.

Anna didn't much like that. Now she had a headache. Headaches made her cranky. Cranky made her do things like unload Thunder attacks on annoying birds.

Said annoying bird was getting sick of nearly being blasted out of the sky. As the electric attack struck, she let out an annoyed shriek, not bothering to take off as the shocks raked through her. Flapping her wings, Cersei leapt at the furret, aiming to flop down and squash the bird with a Quash attack.

Anna squirmed under the bird, not liking being trapped. Squirming around to face it, Anna clicked her teeth, then unleashed an Ice Beam at it's face.

The ice struck Cersei in the face before the bird had a chance to flee, and she stumbled back, cawwing in frustration as she shook the icy chill off. As Jenk called out another command, Cersei only barely stopped herself from disobeying the command. Cawwing furiously, she lashed out with one wing, the feathers stiffening to steel as she struck towards the infuriating furret.

Anna hissed her displeasure as the wing bit into her side. With the metallic wing still in firm contact with her fur and flesh, Anna charged up and unleashed another Shock Wave.

Cersei screeched as the electricity ran up through her wing, shocking the poor bird. She managed to free herself, and took to the sky, circling around Annabell and cawing furiously. Jenk grimaced at Cersei's hot temper. It'd be something to work on, for sure. "Quash!"
Cersei then dove from the sky, aiming to land on the furret and, once more, crush her opponent under her weight.
