Danny dutifully followed Roch down a path she knew quite well. He was headed to his dorm, apparently to fix "it." She wasn't quite sure, but she thought he meant her hair. Hopefully.
Seriously, that thing needed fixing.
Absently, she asked, "Am I gonna get a mohawk?" She thought for a moment or two. Would she want a mohawk? They didn't look bad on Roch. The idea of having her head shaved didn't sound very nice though. So cold!
Her mind drifted back to the phone call Roch had made. Just what did he say? she wondered. She was beginning to feel paranoid. Hiding a secret for this long was NOT doing her any good.

"Y'want one?" Roch asked her, glancing over his shoulder to try and picture it. "Nah, wouldn't work," he finally decided. "I'll do the best I can, though, I'm better at fixin' than cutting, really. But hell, it shouldn't be that hard," he said. "Although, seriously, don't fight Demi no more. You only got so many things he can chew."
He headed into the Reaper Dorm, dragging her along to his room. "I got some hair scissors somewhere, to trim the hawk," he explained.

Ah, yes. His room. Danny liked it, but it was ... well it was a boil's room. It wasn't Danny's room. She looked around for somewhere to sit, and ended up just standing idly. While she made a lot of friendly threats, she certainly didn't want to burn the boil's room down.
She looked a little hesitantly at Roch. Could he really cut hair? She'd never seen him do it before. She couldn't imagine him doing anything except mohawks, but then, her imagination was a tad limited.
"Need help?" she asked.

"Sit on the chair at the desk," he said as he headed into the bathroom to grab a towel, scissors, and a brush. After a second he reached into one of the drawers and pulled out a large hand mirror, the one he used when he was fixing his hawk. He came out a few seconds later, putting the things on the desk before he looked at her.
"Okay," he said after a long moment. "First we'll even it out, then we'll figure out what to do with it," he decided, picking up the towel to put over her shoulders.

The chaaair. She wanted the bed, dammit. Then again, a haircut on the bed would be super awkward. She sat down where he told her to, and waited for further instructions.
Wow he took a long time in the bathroom getting stuff. Maybe he was struggling t- No he was probably just looking at himself and winking. Danny giggled at that thought.
"Uhhh okay. I don't really know what to do with it. I thought that was your job," she commented while he put the towel on her shoulders. Hopefully he wouldn't start sweating part way through. Ewwww.

He started snipping at her hair, cutting off the longer half first until it was even with the shorter. Then he started shaping it, doing his best to make it look decent from the back. "Hey," he said, "I'm sorry I don't like your new pal--well, no, I ain't, I don't like two of your new pals, really, but that don't mean I'm going to get in the way of you bein' their friend."
He wondered if he should tell her about Yin... Probably. But would he?

"Two pals?" she asked, curious with a downtrodden face. She knew he didn't like Michi, and that was sad. No that was very sad. Danny liked Michi quite a bit, and Roch not liking her ... They all needed to just get along. Was she a hypocrite thanks to Edel? Maybe.
But who was that second one? Rikki maybe ... but they were bros! Regardless of her ... standpoint on him, Danny was sure that Roch liked Rikki.
Maybe it was Moure then? Roch didn't like the boil from the beginning, but maybe something had resurfaced? She swore those two had made up. Moure said so!

"Well I got a GOOD REASON to not like the little jacker," Roch went on, getting irritated all over again. "He bitchslapped Rikki, y'know? The gnomes were chattin' about it when they tried to break into my room the other day to do their so-called cleaning. So he DESERVED to be bitchslapped in return--"

Her heart bounced a little when she heard that Rikki got slapped. Just because she didn't want to ... Well just because they were broken up didn't mean she wanted him hurt. She still cared, however confused that made her feel.
"Someone hit Rikki?" she said, trying to keep her voice calm. It was strained and awkward sounding to her, but it came out normal and true. "What happened?"

"That little green jacker," Roch said, pausing in his cutting. "He bitchslapped one of my best bros. But I guess I probably should have let Rikki tell you that, huh? Jack, I'm goin' too far again, but--I was just so damned pissed that I lost my temper..."
He looked guilty for a bit. "Sorry, Danny," he said. "But I didn't break his FEAR shield." Just his nose.

Green ... Green ... She had a lot of green friends.
Baffled, she said, "G? You beat up G?" She was very confused. Why would anyone want to beat up that adorable lugnut? He ate a lot of things like Roch. What was wrong with G oh Jackkkk.
She was surprisingly placid though. She knew Roch and Jove fought nearly weekly; heck, he'd beat up Rikki on a few times. It still surprised her when she didn't know the reason, but she trusted Roch. She knew he wouldn't kill someone. Not without a really good reason.

"G?" he asked. "Jack, no! I meant the guy with the antenna! The bug guy! I wouldn't hit G if someone paid me to!" he said, a bit shocked by the thought. "You know I love the big guy like a brother. But can you even imagine him bitchslapping someone?" he said with a snort. "Trust me, Rikki wouldn't be able to walk straight for a week if that happened. You woulda known."

She fought the urge to say "No I wouldn't," instead opting to focus her mind on Yin. After all, she couldn't think of anyone else that was "green," "buggy" and had antennae.
"You beat up Yin?!" she said, both surprised and a bit confused. She didn't know the reason, but beating up her friends was not cool. He really had to stop making a habit of it.
Danny was also slightly surprised that Yin hadn't put up more of a fight. Sure Roch was a knob and Yin wasn't, but really? She'd pegged Yin to be more of a fighter. She didn't see a single bruise on Roch. Maybe he was hiding them under his clothes? Ahhh, that would make sense.
Not to mention the fact that Yin had slapped Rikki. WHY? Just what was going on when she wasn't looking?!
She sighed as he continued to cut her hair. There was an urge to turn around and punch him in the gut, but somehow, when he was holding scissors ... it just didn't seem like a good idea. "Tell me what happened," she said flatly, her hands already fidgeting.

"He bitchslapped Rikki, he lectured me on how I was a b*****d about treating you, he sticks his freakin' nose into EVERYTHING and he has no jackin' right," Roch said coldly, snipping carefully.
"So I had enough of it. You don't flat out slap one of my bros in the hallway, after school or not. I took him to the gym. I beat on him a bit, and then he had the jackin' GALL to look me in the eyes and say he would do it again. He could barely get a scratch on me, but he's still spoutin off about how he would completely humiliate one of my friends again if given the chance. It ain't the hit that pisses me off. It's the TYPE of hit. You know what that type of hit means?"

"Nope," Danny said bluntly. She had no idea there were different kinds of "hits." Did he mean like ... a punch versus a kick? Maybe Yin had tried to kick him when he wanted a punch? Danny sighed, frustrated with this whole ordeal. She wished it was like her hair, and she could just chop it all off with a sword.
Maybe ... no she wouldn't finish that thought.
Danny bit her lip, "I um. I ..." She looked at his scissors. No this should wait until he was done. "UHHH. I think you should make my hair short," she covered.
