As a Tony Stewart fan, I was pretty disappointed in some of the antics he pulled on the track. I'll still cheer for him, but I'm pretty disappointed.

I don't think it was so much what he did on the track that bothered me, because at least once in their career every driver is going to end up getting mad or frustrated on the track and do something they shouldn't, it was the fact that last week he was talking about how someone was going to get killed because of aggressive driving and then he did exactly what he was talking about.
About what Ryan Newman said, part of me thinks that he is just upset because he didn't win and then the other half doesn't know what to think.

That's what I was disappointed about. I know every driver is going to get mad at some point but Daytona is not the place to take someone out. Matt Kenseth is lucky he didn't look at the rest of the field coming at him upside down.

"Apparently" Kenseth made Tony sideways in turn 2. Now logically, if that DID happen, how did Stewart drive fast enough to catch Kenseth down the superstretch on the same lap as that supposed "sideways tap" and get to drive him off the road?
2002, Stewart won the Winston Cup title. 2003, Kenseth won the LAST Winston Cup title. There will probably never be another Winston Cup. Those aren't coincidental. (Or are they?)
Stewart also had a banner year in 2003, where he got sent to Anger Management. I think it'll be another Anger Management year for him.

This whole thing has me confused about Tony Stewart. After the great big deal he made over safety after the shootout, why would he drive so recklessly? Is he bi-polar or something? Jeckyll and Hyde? He was so calm last year, is this the sign of a backslide into his old rampaging ways? Am I asking too many questions?
I have an XM radio, and listen to it at work. It's usually tuned to the Nascar channel. The people calling in are pissed over the whole Tony thing. One guy who called in sounded like he would have strangled Tony if he had the chance. eek Yes, he was a Matt Kenseth fan.
I'd be surprised if this was over between Stewart and Kenseth. Then you have the Jeff Green/Dale Jarret thing. I'm very intrested too see what happens at California this weekend.
NASCAR - the world's fastest soap opera. xd

i think that tony has been pretty hypocritical lately about nascar. first he says that nascar has to do a better job at policing the driving, and then the next race he causes a crash. whether or not this was on purpose is something i cant prove, but still contradictory if i do say so myself.
