RPC Name: Kinetav Erth'azar
RPC Profile Link: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?page=24&t=21896169#328395871
RPC Rank: Student:
RPC Bloodline: Anima
RPC Class: Dark Avenger

Gauntlets of Projection (See profile pic for gauntlet visual):

As an adolescent, Kinetav knew that he'd have to wander around eventually because of his birth and class. For a means of easy, on-the-go mapping and hacking into abandoned buildings for refuge, the Anima paid a friend to design and create these gauntlets just for him. Via a mental command, the gauntlets can project a 3-D screen for maps that can also turn two dimensional for hacking against a surface such as an electrical lock or computer.

Each hack requires three posts, and each post a D20 is rolled; detection is based on those rolls and the area the hacker is in:

Shadowy, Dark Environments: 6 or higher, no detection
Well Lit Environments: 11 or higher, no detection
Shadowless Environments: 16 or higher, no detection

Failing a roll causes all hostile guards or RPCs in the area to notice Kinetav, and to rush at him during that post. Kinetav *can* keep hacking, but next post he would take damage a rank higher than normal as he is especially vulnerable unless he discontinued the hack. If surrounded by friendly guards, doesn't take damage if all attacks are successfully blocked by said guards.

Successful hacks on an unknown system upload additional data from that system, or if on a door uploads additional data about that one door to an additional, seperate from the gauntlets data chip that Kinetav carries in his belt, and can only download additional information from that chip to the gauntlets via a hardline link overnight.

CANNOT HACK MEACHA RPCS FOR INFO OR ANY OTHER PURPOSE.

RP Samples:
*Kinetav walked up to an abandoned house at night as he was seeking refuge; a dark 3-D projection screen appeared above one of his gauntlets before using his hands as a way to twist and move to the proper section of the program. Finally activating the proper file, the 3-D image of the area around him flattenedd into a 2-D image with numbers and letters on the keypad; the Dark Avenger smiles as he places this hacking device on top of the electronic keypad. Numbers begin to be pressed randomly by the 2-D image, but only artificially as the hacking process began; the direct contact between the screen and the keypad allowing the screen to test thousands of random possibilities as the Dark Avenger stayed vulnerable to all forms of damage, having to place his hands close to the surface to secure and maintain the projected screen.

(Successful hack, no detection) Kinetav grinned wickedly as he saw the projection in front of him confirming the door's code (or if a system, uploading all information from said system) and transferring it to a spare computer chip that the Anima kept in his belt. He would have to download the information into the gloves later overnight, as he forgets the codes he hacked into by morning. Reaching a finger through the screen, the Dark Avenger punched the code in manually and watched the door open up.

(Unsuccessful Hack, detected) Kinetav cursed as he saw guards walking towards him. Fortunately, he was in a somewhat dark to perfectly dark environment; the Dark Avenger simply releases his hands from the wall and either continues to fight like normal, or shadow step away from the combat if he is clearly out-matched.

(Unsuccessful hack, detected in shadowless environment): ((Well, let's just say it's the equivalent of "oh ****" unless Kinetav has guards around him XD ))

Kinetav has put a new socket into the inner forearm of his right gauntlet, which requires S ranked posts to move around the circuitry and put in the socket. This socket, through mechanical means such as cogs and circuitry that will be routed to it, will be able to open and close through pressing a button on the opposite side of the gauntlets near the wrist. The socket is only big enough for the core itself, and therefore Edge must be in the Quintessence of the Blade mode initially to fit in it. The cover of the socket is made of the natural material of the gauntlets that Kinetav had to cut out to install it, and as the socket fits perfectly into the glove it is not obvious or really even noticeable that a modification has been made. It takes an entire post to get the core out of the socket as the core is securely placed into the socket.

There are certain holes from the socket to the outside of the right gauntlet, however, allowing the blade to manifest through them and form blades outside of the gauntlets with the core still inside of the armor. As the core *must be physically attached to the right blade*, the only forms that can be used while the core is in the gauntlet is a Zealot blade that is permanently attached to the armor (custom skill application will be made if this idea is approved) or any form of Chained Weaponry (See C-ranked Skill) that takes two posts to form as the entire blade must be regenerated. Once the blade is regenerated, it then can be used as Twin Blades or any other form as long as the right blade stays physically attached to the core (Chained Weaponry or Zealot Blade, again).

Impaling recall *is* able to be used should the gauntlet be lost or the arm fall off, but doing so will completely destroy the gauntlet and require a month of time IRL to repair using mechanist's tools.

RPC Name: Verideathul Erth'azar
RPC Profile Link: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?page=24&t=21896169#328395871
RPC Rank: Student:
RPC Bloodline: Anima
RPC Class: Dark Avenger

Name of Weapon: Exodus: Edge of Eternal Reticence.
Natural Form: 12" dark dagger, used for silent and quick killing.
Rank: C; Progressive Exodus.

Passives:
Regeneration unless struck in the core, the core being a red smooth gem with a blood red mist inside of it.

Needle of Darkness:Grade E
Pointing the tip of the Exodus at a target, the Edge of Eternal Reticence summons and shoots a small needle-like bolt of energy by channeling the energy of the wielder's soul. Does a rank higher damage than its wielder's rank if fired at close range, and a rank lower damage if fired at long range. 3 Post Cooldown.

Soul Absorbing: Grade E Passive
Killing blows from the Edge of Eternal Reticence, like all Exodi, cause the targets soul to become trapped within the blade; the Anima gets a bonus to str or speed depending on the dead opponent's primary stat between the two.

Weapon Form: Longsword: Grade E
When failing to kill a target at the first strike, Verideathul often shifts his Exodus into the form of a two foot long sword for longer range. Only one weapon transformation per post, must be done before the attack or parry.

Quintessence of the Edge: Grade D
The Edge evaporates save for the core, which can then be stored in a socket in Kinetav's gloves. It takes 2 posts for full regeneration of this weapon from the gauntlets into either Zealot Blade form or any Linked Weaponry, with the first post being regeneration in the gauntlet and the second forming a usable blade.

Weapon Form: Zealot Blade: Grade D
The Edge of Eternal Reticence turns into a two foot long Zealot blade. If the core is within Quintessence of the Edge mode and the core stored in the gauntlets, it takes two posts to fully regenerate the blade.

Weapon Form: Twin Blades: Grade D
The Edge of Eternal Reticence can now become two blades, but are dependent of one another's transformations. Only the weapon with the core in it has regenerative abilities.

Weapon Form: Linked Weaponry: Grade C
The Exodus can now link itself and the wrists of its wielder, giving the Anima an ability to throw the blade at enemies and pull it back at will. If the core is within Quintessence of the Edge mode and the core stored in the gauntlets, it takes two posts to fully regenerate the blade.

Weapon Form: Pistol: Grade C
The Exodus turns into a pistol, able to shoot bullets up to 25 feet in front of it. Not often used by the Anima as he prefers stealthy kills or melee combat.

Self Awareness: Grade C Passive
With the link between Anima and Exodus growing, the blade is now aware of its position within twenty-five feet of its wielder and can relay information on its whereabouts should it get lost or disarmed for any reason. Range of ability to relay information increases by 10 feet at Rank B, and then 15 feet at rank A to allow for a maximum range of 50 feet of self-awareness.

Transformation Efficiency: Grade B Passive
The Exodus now weighs as much as its foot long natural dagger form, no matter the current form it is in.

Improved Twin Weaponry: Grade B Passive
The Blades can now transform independently of one another, allowing the anima to wield two different kinds of blades simultaenously.

Unlimited Transformation: Grade A
The Exodus can now take on most physical forms at will, and can transform to longer dimenions in each form, but before an attack/riposte/parry/dodge.

Crescent of Shadow: Grade A
Channeling the shadow of his Dark Avenger abilities, the Exodus can draw on the soul of the anima and project an arc of pure energy up to 25 feet in any direction. The projectile still has the same strength and weaknesses as shadow, and can be easily cut through by light. 8 Post Cooldown.

Impaling recall: Grade S
Within a 50 foot range, the Exodus can be resummoned to its master; its hilt disappears and it takes the form of a large needle as it flies back towards the Anima. If it connects with any enemies in its path, causes S-rank damage and rank C bleeding for three posts or until pulled out if it doesn't fly through the opponent entirely; if it does fully run through the opponent, causes S-rank damage and A rank bleeding for three posts. Returns within one post, unless lodged into an opponent: flies through opponents based on the number on % momentum it has left:

E Rank Opponent: No loss of momentum to full impale.
D Rank Opponent: 5% loss of momentum to full impale.
C Rank Opponent: 10% loss of momentum to full impale.
B Rank Opponent: 15% loss of momentum to full impale.
A Rank Opponent: 20% loss of momentum to full impale.
S Rank Opponent: 25% loss of momentum to full impale
SS Rank Opponent: 30% loss of momentum to full impale.
SSS Rank Opponent: 35% loss of momentum to full impale.

When the blade runs out of momentum on an enemy's armor, it instead pierces them partially, causing the damage but only rank C bleeding for three posts or until pulled out. Pulling out the blade causes additional B rank damage and E rank bleeding for a post. If the anima tries to catch the weapon while disoriented for any reason, he accidentally catches it by the spike and inflicts S-rank damage and bleeding to himself. 10 Post cooldown.

(More skills to come, one in S and then SS and SSS when getting there.)

RP Sample:
*Verideathul walked out into the open plain, grasping the Edge of Eternal Reticence tightly as an opponent wandered into view; he quickly took notice of the warrior's height, energy color and power as both his own voice and that of his Exodus echoed in his head:*

Hmph...A rank....is that all? And pink color, to boot....not exactly the manliest warrior around.

Pfffffft, just throw me, and be done with it. This man is no match for me alone, let alone both of us.

And not get the satisfaction of a close kill? Nonsense...I know how we love short fights and quick power gains, but we still enjoy the thrill of a good hunt.

Fine. Either way, he's going to die.

*The warrior's voice back echoed across the field, laughing and drawing a five foot long blade as the Draconian clearly underestimated the anima: "Are you serious about this? A blade as small as that dagger, taking me out? I don't think so." The warrior's tone quickly changed as Verideathul's Exodus began to ooze a strange dark substance from the hilt, forming into two four foot longsword instead as the Anima wasn't going to silently take this guy out. Narrowing his eyes, the warrior began a rapid charge at Verideathul, swinging the large blade effortlessly at the Anima's midsection; only when his blade was blocked and interlocked by a swift motion did the warrior realize that an eye on the side of the sword was looking all over him, hearing a voice echo from the Edge:*

"Is this all your blade can do?"

*Seeing the warrior's eyes widen in shcok and take a hesitant step backwards, the Anima quickly took a rush forward and cut through his soft neck, the head tearing away from the base as the body fell limp. Verideathul heard a scream of rage from behind him as another Draconian, obviously a friend of the warrior, ran towards him; throwing one of the Exodus blades at him, the warrior dodged it and quickly reached Verideathul, their blades clashing in front of his chest as this man was stronger than the last. Fed up that he, a Dark Avenger of all classes, was attempting to be killed by a sneak attack, a single verbal command came from underneath his vizor:*

"Impale him."

The sword on the ground began to shift and transform before flying back towards the Dark Avenger as a large needle; Verideathul bit his lip in delight at the screams of anguish from the Draconian as the spear-sized needle flew through his torso and was caught in the middle by the Anima. Pushing back the opponent, the blood flew from the chest wound and gurgled out of the Draconian's mouth as Verideathul knelt down beside him; with a finality the large needle was forced into his brain before absorbing his soul and power.
