Days like today were for the birds. Seriously, Michi wasn't feeling like her normal self. Not in the ew I'm sick way, but rather in her mood. Her social life was so up and down around here that she didn't know how to feel about all the new people she was meeting. Alex, Danny, Needle, Kettil, Herryk... honestly the list went on for a bit. The demoness had met quiet a number of people already, but she felt so worn out from all that running around. She was planning for just a nice night in at her dorm. No hexbox, no homework (she never did that anyways), nothing but some pure chill fun.
She shouldered a bag and briskly walked up to the demon dorms. The bag did not hold books, paper, or anything school related. It was instead filled with Michi's typical things like her eyephone, various magazines, and other such objects. She sighed, pulled open the doors and walked into the common room on her way to her dorm.
Those bright blue eyes landed on someone in the common room who caught her interest though. A lovely boil, sitting in the common room brushing his long, wonderful hair out. Alright, so curiosity killed the Michi. She wandered over and sat down right in front of him without worrying about if she was acting creepy.
"Hi! Can I brush your hair for you?"
There she went, just being herself. Pushing her wants on other people. Michi wanted to brush this wonderful hair that was so much longer than her own short do. At least she was smiling?

Calder was taking a break from sitting in Barth's room only because it was hard to concentrate. The plush furniture, the sleepy, warm boilfriend, and the lovely smells all worked to make him fall asleep. True, he needed to sleep to recover, but he felt he was doing it too much! That and he was getting bed head a lot. It looked dashing on the demon, but not with his glorious hair.
Since he had nothing better to do, and wanted to do something, Calder took his brush kit down to the common area and sat down, before taking out one of the many detailed brushes he owned, some with metal handles with stones pressed inside, and some wooden. Calder took out a wooden one with thick bristles and combed his hair, but he found it hard when his stitches pulled. It made it very slow going.
That was when a demon ghoul came in, sat right in front of him, and asked if she could brush his hair. It was the most forward he had had anyone talk to him, and he paused mid-brush to look at her. Being around boils who never just said what they wanted, it was actually refreshing.
"O...Okay." If he was germaphobic, he would have resisted, but he didn't mind dirt if she was messy and he actually LIKED other people brushing his hair. In fact, no one had ever asked to brush his hair.
Slowly, he offered her the brush. "I'm Calder." Seemed backwards for a introduction.

Success! Michi had a brush in hand, her bag was dropped on the ground like it didn't matter, and she was sitting behind Calder in a flash. The smoke demoness had grown up playing with a good amount of dolls, and had loved to brush their hair. Frankly, his hair was prettier than her own and made her think of doll hair. She sat behind him with a grin, and began to softly moved the brush through his locks.
"My name's Michi. Your hair is so pretty. I can never get mine to grow out like this. It just becomes smoke, curls whatever way it wants, and doesn't listen to me at all."
Despite her long nails, Michi moved with measured strokes of the brush. Being careful to not snatch any of the snarls roughly. This was better than just chillin in her room by herself or playing hexbox. Michi had left behind her dolls (the few she had remaining from her childhood) when she had come to Amity, but she hadn't actually taken them out of their boxes in years. Ah, this brought back memories.

In no time, he was feeling the sweet bliss of a comb being brushed through his hair and the tiniest of claw tips running through it. Smiling, he shifted a little closer to her, and then placed his brush kit beside them in case she wanted to try out different comes or some of the hair ornaments he owned.
"My entire clan has long hair. We all sit around and brush our hair, but no one here seems to like too. All the boils think it's weird. I haven't met many ghouls who know what to do with their hair. It's very sad. You'd look very pretty in long hair. I'm sure. Too bad it turns into...smoke? Is that something....your kin does?" He turned just slightly to look at her.
"My hair just turns black. It's getting there. I'm hoping it will come in soon." Then he'd be a real stallion.

"My family are all pretty much smoke demons, though I know my uncle married a rather large demoness and I don't know what she is," She pulled the brush through again and eyeballed the kit that he had placed beside them. There were all sorts of brushes and ornaments in there, more than she had ever seen before! Typically Michi just put a few clips in her hair and called it a day. Maybe she should consider doing more with it somehow?
"Your hair will look nice black. I cut mine short so I could stop fighting with it. You can't pin smoke down, or tie it back. It's a pain that way," she chuckled slightly," so I guess you can count me in the group of ghouls who honestly don't know what to do with their hair, but probably for different reasons all together. How long have you been growing your hair out?"
She continued to eyeball the kit, before she pulled out a pin of some kind, and pinned up part of his hair with it to try it out. Michi continued to brush the other parts, fulling enjoying this weird form of therapy for her. He may have been getting something out of this, but so was Michi. It was so... nice.

Calder was getting a lot of out it. He felt homesick when she brushed his hair, but also very comforted and relaxed. More relaxed than he had been for a while. What with strange happenings, fights, and other drama, this little moment helped him a great deal. He practically melted at being combed, and if he was an animal that could purr, he would have. Instead, his tail only flicked once or twice in response.
His hair, though needing brushing, was silky and felt like cold water. However, the hair pin worked, and kept the part she held up in place.
"We don't cut our hair. It ...looks weird. Some of our kind trims it, but unless something bad happens, we don't cut it." He took a lock of his hair and started to pull on it. "One time, when I was little, I got a really bad tangle. Some sort of tar we couldn't get out. My Dad had to cut it." He combed that one lock of hair faster between his fingers. "It was....scary." The idea of cutting his hair made his blood run cold.
"But your very pretty, even with short hair, and you dress so nice." He glanced down at his own clothes. A simple jacket, button up shirt, and a kilt. He wondered if Barth ever wanted to see him in any of the fancier dress. The demon always dressed so nicely. "I bet all the boils like you."

Who didn't cut their hair? Michi paused to put a hand to her own locks for a short moment. The edges of the hair were just barely smoke, and more on the longer side of her hairdo. She let go of it and continued to play with Calder's hair. Despite her fingers feeling a little cold she was happy.
"Pfttt. If there are boils around here who like me, they should speak up already. I'm running into ones who are taken, jerks, or don't even understand that I'm hitting on them ever. So if someone starts talking to you about Michi, the smokin hot smoke demoness, lemme know."
She chuckled a bit and moved the pin to pull his hair backwards and attempt to catch most of it together. The red skinned ghoul felt most of the hair slip out of her fingers she giggled a bit.
"But thank you. I love dressing in different clothing. Any reason to dress up really. I love throwing parties and wearing different outfits. Do you dress up a lot? I bet you'd look good in some fancy ruffled shirts." She was grinning even as she said this, attempting to catch his hair into a braid of some sort.

Calder laughed and then pointed to his ears. "If I hear anything, you'll be the first to know. I like passing on the word, especially if it means in getting you someone. A pretty ghoul like you deserves a nice someone." Calder wasn't even about to start if she likes JUST boils.
He continued to giggle. "Some of the boils are rather dense around here. I don't think they know the first thing about romance. I think only a few are taken or at least don't say they are taken. Boils don't really gossip about dating." Calder leaned back to roll his eyes at her, in a way to say 'boils are morons' sorta way.
"I have some nice clothes, for special occasions, but....not like the clothes the other boils and ghouls wear. I guess I don't know some of the fashion." His ears dropped a tad. "No one wears kilts. They don't get it." He set his hands upon his lap, petting the plaid fabric. "...I should probably try wearing other things....once in a while, but I don't really have other clothes." He looked away at that. His family usually traded with a local seamstress to have her make clothes. He didn't have the sort of pumpkin seeds to just go out and buy some, and what would he buy without the other kids thinking he looked funny?

She snickered when Calder rolled his eyes. Yes, boils were morons in several, several ways. Michi finished off the braid and tied it off with a fancy looking bow. She smiled softly at his talk of clothing and realized that maybe she could help a boil out a bit.
"Well honestly, I have some boil clothes because," she didn't have much of a chest," I thought they were really awesome looking. I bet some of it would fit you, and trust me when I say a kilt will work if you work it right!"
She put the brushes and things back into the kit quickly and was soon jumping back to her feet and scooping up her own bag. Her hand reached out and grabbed Calder's before pulling him lightly along the way to her dorm room. This would be the second person at school to know which dorm was hers; the first being Danny.
"Come on, now I'm gunna have to show you a few things!" Michi was pretty sure she had a shirt similar to what she had been speaking about a moment before. The smoke demon was going to have fun with this one!

He didn't know what to do when he was on the receiving end of being pulled along, but was soon juggling his kit in one hand and tip-hoofing behind her while the other was being pulled along.
"What things?" Calder asked, being lead out of the common room, down the hallway, and to the stairs. It was good he could catch up without any trouble at all. Despite being surprised, he really liked this ghoul's forward, spontaneous, lets-do-it attitude. If he didn't know better, he would have thought she as a monster.

Her mother certainly thought she was a monster! Grinning almost ear to ear Michi ran up the stairs two at a time. It wasn't so much that her legs were long (they weren't) as she was super excited. Not many boils let her play dress up with them. The red skinned ghoul couldn't wait to get started.
She opened the door to her dorm room with a pause, making sure that her new found friend would be able to at least see where she was going before she disappeared inside. Her room was cozy, and even with the lights switched on it seemed more hazy than bright. Everything about her room was richly toned, from the bed cover to the plush couch and the paintings on the wall. Dark maroons, deep chocolates, and with very little black. Several bits of incense were burning, giving the room a musky sweet scent. Not floral, but nice all the same. It suited Michi in an odd way, like being inside these walls meant she could relax and slow down a little. Unless you counted the tv and hexbox, that were obviously centered in front of the couch in a manner that caught your eye. She did play it a lot.
"Oh, you know, just some awesome things." Her closet didn't have a door, and instead was sectioned off by some wisps of curtain that still managed to block the view of whatever was past it. There was much rummaging, and a few items could be heard hitting the floor. Thank Jack she had unpacked it all during the first few days here at Amity! She came out with a decent sized pile of things. Michi really liked to dress up.
"I think most of this will fit you. You're broader in the shoulders, but most of the stuff is decently forgiving. I like comfy things." She couldn't sew to save her life, and typically Michi was always buying more things with her allowance sent from home. In hindsight, that money was pretty generous of her mother, but it had happened her entire life so the smoke ghoul never even thought about it. She was quickly handing him two ruffled shirts, one with ruffled parts at the end of the sleeves and one without. If he took them, she'd promptly begin to sort through the rest of the pile (which was dumped on the bed).
"You're a cutie, and I think you could pull off some of these things better than I could. I always buy this stuff because it looks so cool, but I just can't pull it off right."

Michi's room reminded him of Barth's, but maybe that was a demon thing. The lush fabrics, the heavy scent of incenses, and a sense of privilege he didn't otherwise see back home. Everything spoke of luxury and comfort, and Calder flicked his tail when he looked about, curious and slowly wandering about to look here and there. Despite how similar it was to his boilfriend's room, the colors were more vibrant, the color slightly more feminine, and it spoke just slightly, in the faintest of ways, that this room belonged to a ghoul. It was interesting, and he went about looking here and there before moving over to stand beside her closet as she pulled things here and there while rustling behind the curtain. He was very interested in the clothes she had, and tried to peek inside, but didn't managed to get a glimpse before she carried out a pile of clothes.
"So many!" He thought she was just going to pull out one or two, but this much?! Now he REALLY wanted to see her closet.
Set down, he looked at the shirts, and smiled. "I know someone who wears very soft clothes. I borrow his coat from time to time and I love how warm and cozy it is." Well, he more or less took one of Barth's jackets and used it as a blanket when he napped on the couch. Barth's clothes were always warm, cozy, and smelled delightful, but what did you expect from a sloth demon?
At the shirt, he picked one up. "You don't mind?" He asked, smiling. No one ever offered to dress him up. He helped other ghouls before, but not the other way around. Well, expect that one time with Riley, but he didn't feel like that counted.
Without any thought, Calder took off his jacket, and then started to take off his shirt. His skin was pale, though he had the lean, slightly muscular physique of a swimmer. As he started to pull on the shirt with the the ruffles at the end of the sleeves, Calder smiled up at her, instantly won over. "You look very cute in what you're wearing. You pull it off very well!"

She grinned at Calder, not even caring when he stripped off his clothing. Okay, so she did look without a bashful appearance on her face, but frankly the ghoul didn't care if he walked around naked in her room. She was pretty easy going about things like that!! "Mmm, soft blankets always make naps better. Warm things make it even better!" Michi didn't take many naps because to her, sleeping was just less time having fun and doing things, but when she did take time to do such a thing she enjoyed it. Pretty much, if the smoke demoness put her mind to whatever it was she was doing, she enjoyed it. "Why thank you. I like wearing it!" And her mother hated it. Funny how that was almost as important as Michi liking it. The two just went hand in hand together really. The more her mother disliked something, the more Michi just had to have it. Too bad her mother had never figured that one out!! "And you look adorable!! The ruffles may be a bit much though," she laughed, pulling on one of the cuffs before standing back to take a better look at it. "But if we ever have an old time dress up party or something, you should wear it with pride! Try on the other one, with thissss vest!!!" She turned while she spoke and snagged a rather nice looking vest from the pile. It was black at first glance, but had silver threads woven through the material that you could see if you got close enough or studied it long enough. Just enough detail to make it stand out as more than a simple garment. "It's the little details that make something better. The cut of the v should be about the right height for the ruffles of the shirt, and if you roll the sleeves up to your elbows it'll look great. I think I have a chain or a pocket watch somewhere to go with it..." Oh this was fun!! Michi could have Calder over any time, he could walk in whenever he wanted from this point on. The red skinned ghoul couldn't help but love her new found friend with how awesome he was about all of this! moonkitsune OMG. D: I am soooo sorry. For some reason I herp'd and just thought it was still your turn for some reason. ;A; Please forrrrggiivveee meeeeeee. 3

Once buttoned up, Calder stepped aside to also examine the shirt, noticing the many full length mirrors around the walls of Michi's room. Turning side to side, and looking behind him, he examined it and wondered if this worked for him or not. It did make him look different, and that was exciting in itself. Trying on new clothes made him feel as if he was or could be another person - and often times, he wanted that. "My boilfriend really likes dressing up this way. Some say it's old fashioned, but I think it's very posh. I really don't match his look. I want to just.....fit with him." He dressed very differently to the demon, and he wondered if Barth would like it better if he was dolled up to match him.
It was why he had no problem undoing the buttons and trying on the next shirt, and also taking on the vest. He followed her direction, placing on the shirt, then the vest, and rolling up the sleeves. That....that looked really good. He turned, but from at his kilt.He loved it, but it didn't seem to ....work. "Um, maybe if I was wearing a black kilt?" He wasn't sure as he spoke to himself looking at himself in the mirror and bunching up his hair to hold it up in a messy bun and see how that looked.
His eyes caught the demon and the closet, and he dropped his hair to let it tumble down his back and trotted over to her. "Can I dress you up?"

"I think a black one would do a lot better with the vest. Or even a really dark blue or something if you don't want to match too much." She smirked looking back into the pile of things and throwing items this way and that. She paused when he tried to put his hair up in a bun and lifted an eyebrow at him.
"And yes! Feel free to pick out whatever, and I'll try it on. If you can figure out something better than what I've been able to figure out, I'll have to come to you in the future before every date or something." She laughed, and looked at herself in the mirror. Michi liked vests, they were kinda a thing for her.
Once Calder moved past the wisps of material hiding her closet he would find a scary amount of clothing. Most of it looked new, hardly worn at all, and some of it still had the tags on it. Clothing her mother had sent with her, but Michi barely looked at before stuffing it into the closet. All in all, more than enough choices. Hats, belts, shoes, it seemed almost endless.
"I always forget half the things in there. It's just as bad as my closet back home, and I just got here!"
