Yesterday I came down with a spendid example of a fever, which, of course, had me laying on the bed shaking miserably for hours. I'd just checked out The Salmon of Doubt from the library a couple days prior, so I was reading snippets when I felt good enough to focus my eyes on a page...
Then I fell asleep. This made me happy.
Problem being, when I woke up, I had the distinct impression that my left arm had been replaced by a large trout. O_o It took a few minutes to restore proper arm-ness.
Anybody else ever have something really weird like that happen to them? Fevers aren't necessary, but apparently they help.
side note: I'm still feverish, but not as bad as yesterday. Zarquon!
