This thread is for the poetry contest. Remember you are being judged on how well your poetry portrays the theme Discipleship Unashamed. Here are the rules

1. Please only post your poetry, and do NOT post if you have no intention of being in this contest.
2. Do not discuss the poetry here, there is another thread for that.
3, Please post your original work.

Sinners

you people talk
about the zombie apocalypse
like it can happen
any day now

well sharpen your ax
and load your fire arm
because the streets
are already crawling
with living dead

a people bathed
in the blood of the cross
and hungry
not for brains
but for the living
word of God
it is the fuel that binds
this rotting
flesh to bone

i’ve heard it said
we are fools
and unjust pious hypocrites

all true
we are dead
we are gruesome
we need forgiveness
but in Christ we are
pulled from the grave

and so we walk the streets
forever unashamed

Congratulations, you win by default ^_^ lol. You get an extra 100k due to no one entering in the Artwork contest ^_^ btw, this poem is pretty amazing, and it does a great job of portraying this years theme. Even if others did enter, you most likely would have still be in the top 3 anyway smile

I didn't realize there was one.
art is my specialty...
