Horace grew up in a rich household with his younger brother, Thomas. Unlike Thomas, who was interested in machinery and technology, Karl favored maintaining the honor of the family name. Consequently, he accepted the responsibility of taking on this burden, and was likely the favorite child. Maintaining the Family Honor, as well as his reputation, is constantly getting him into fights. He’s been promoted and demoted so many times that he’s stopped wearing any kind of rank, though he seems to have stagnated at Corporal. Under normal circumstances, a soldier with that kind of track record would have been given the boot years ago. However, Horace’s undying love of Zoids, Strategy, and his loyalty to the Coalition has been the only thing that has kept him wearing the uniform. Though helping to disable an Assault Hover does make one out to be a hero, and heroes are hard to remove.
...But I Must Warn You:
Extremely serious, and dedicated to his work, though he doesn’t blindly charge into battle. On several occasions in the past, he voiced his opinion about how important it is for members of the military to carry out their duty, show respect, and take pride in being a soldier. Preferring to use strategy over brute force, Horace has studied almost every Zoid he could get information on, and developed a strategy on how to beat each one, even other PAC Zoids. Unwilling to sacrifice his teammates, he has retreated from battles before. While Horace loves to brawl and fight, he is patient and can take a joke. He was even seen joking around and being friendly with people he’d just been fighting with.
