December 2011: My hair was still in a fro, which was getting too complicated to take care of and keep neat without it breaking off and being unhealthy. D;

February 2nd (actually it was like January 30th but who's counting):
My dreads are starting to fall in strange ways. There's one that won't stay out of the center of my forehead, and for a few days I had a lock-cowlick thing going on where two of them just stuck straight up 'cause they felt like it. Also some of them are starting to curl at the tips.

These are bigger than I wanted them initially, but now I'm glad I got them this size. Most of them are about pencil-width.
also i do because i'm excited too whee
