The green and white mare had traveled away from her herd. It wasn't often that she got out. Typically her father didn't allow her to wander too far, but Indi had managed to sneak out for a bit. It wasn't that she didn't like her herd or her family, the mare just enjoyed to be by herself a bit. The quiet was always calming to her and allowed her to think. Perhaps that was why she had always enjoyed collecting herbs so much? It wasn't that she particularly liked healing. She just enjoyed collecting. Going out on her own deep into the forest and looking for plants. There was just something so, peaceful about it. A lot like flying actually. But Indi was afraid of heights, so she couldn't stand flying very far or very high. Most of the time she stayed earth bound if she could.
Catching sight of a forest below her, the mare glided to a halt right in front of it. Here she was bound to find all sorts of berries and herbs. The herd was running low on their stock so it seemed like a good time to gather. Besides, if she came home with something her father wouldn't be quite as mad as he normally would be. Stopping in front of a berry bush, the mare began to pick what she could.
