Guen had, somehow, fallen asleep on duty.
It was downright embarassing, really. There she was, looking for a likely victim and yawning till her jaw hurt. She'd been stalking the streets all night but it seemed like everyone had decided to remain indoors on the rather chilly evening. Even the usual bums were out of sight. Plus, she was pretty sure she had a cold - her throat felt scratchy, her head hurt and she was, not to put too fine a point on it, dog tired.
So when a likely bench in front of a bus stop appeared out of the yawning darkness, Lt. Gypsum had a sit - against all better judgement.
Her light snoring pierced what was otherwise a cold and uneventful night.

Pippin was tired also but it didn't mean it sleep in public places that was just......not right. Actually it was bit weird. He was walking when he had hear the sound piercing the night sky. He looked up and looked around until he caught sight of a girl sleep. He had also picked up that she was not a normal hobo just sleeping in the park. Even though she kind of look like it with the look she was trying to pull off. She was a nega and he knew it. He could pick up on that sens from a mile away. The cat grin and let out a small giggle.
This was going to be good. He was going to scare the female and then teach her to lesson on why she should not helping the side she is on and start on the right side. He move quickly and swiftly up to where she was sleeping. His grin getting bigger and bigger. He giggle softly once more and pounce on the female face. A price she had to pay for being a bad guy. "WELL HELLO THERE SLEEPYHEAD! I'm Pippin and it's nice to meet you, but I must say it's not right to sleep out in public places and it's really not that good that you're a lieutenant! That's a bad bad thing! But I can help you to see the light, hokay?" he said with a cheeky grin. Her reaction will be so worth getting hurt from this.

And then something warm, soft, and definitely unwelcome landed on her face.
"EUAAAGHH!" She sound she emitted was only vague human, as she started awake with a mighty heave and batted at the offending creature frantically. It took her a moment to realize it was a cat and that it probably had claws, but by the time that registered it was too late and she'd already begun her rather silly looking assault. She flailed for a moment, trying to grapple it gently and sit the strange thing in her lap -
And then she realized it had been talking.
She'd, of course, heard about guardian cats- their side, after all, had them too - but she never had the, er, pleasure of meeting one. She froze stiffly, unsure of what to do as the rather adorable creature admonished her. It was hard for her to be mad at it, after all - she loved cats. And just look at it! How strange, it had the most comically tiny little legs and...
Focus, Gypsum.
She glanced around, hoping none of her superiors were around. She was pretty sure she wouldn't be able to bring herself to hurt a cat, especially one as endearing (if a little headstrong) as this one. Could she pet it? Should she just run away? Did it mean that more senshi would be nearby? Oh, dear.
"Um, I'm sorry," she began, at a loss for words. "I've um. Never met a talking cat," she admitted, but then added defensively, "and I will have you know I WASN'T napping! Just...resting my eyes, sort of."
That had probably been one of her worst-delivered lies yet.

Well this was a different then he expect. He expect to get hit but not as sissy as that and he really didn't expect to get put into a lap, but either way he was glad of the outcome. He like laps, they were warm and nice to lay on so he couldn't complain. He moved around in her lap and adjust to his liking giving a soft purr in happiness. He was surprise bye this, all of this. Most of them would be trying to kill him, or maybe not. He wasn't sure but he knew this one was being a lot nicer then usual.
And she was sorry? What was this tomfoolery. He was confused really. Maybe not all of them where evil....that meant there was still hope for her! Yes! "Me either!" he said laughing to himself. He looked up to her in all serious and laughed again. "Un huh. And I just fell from sky and happen to land on your face. Why were you sleeping? It's a bit dangerous to sleep outside. You could get raped! RAPED! Did you know that! Hobos are out here and like little girls like you!" he said still looking up to her but his face was a lot more serious this time.

Gypsum laughed.
She couldn't help herself, as she dissolved into fountain of giggles. This MUST be some sort of crazy dream. There was a guardian cat sitting in her lap and shouting about hobos and rapists. She stopped just long enough to stutter, "I'm - HAHAHAH - not a little - hehe, GIRL!" Finally, giving it an uncertain pat, she picked it up out of her lap and sat the little creature on the ground.
She stood up, stretching. How HAD she fallen asleep, anyway? She must be more tired than she thought. "Well, cat. I am pretty sure I'm not supposed to be talking to you." Gypsum put her hands on her hips, eyeing it critically.
"Don't know what you see in those self-entitled senshi types anyway," she sniffed disdainfully. She wasn't sure where this conviction had come from, as she was generally pretty level-headed, but it felt so RIGHT. Selfish prats, playing at dress up in their little skirts and tiaras, she added mentally.

Pippin blinked. He was sure what was so funny, but he didn't like it. Things like this had to be taken seriously. A lot of people now in days were getting hurt and rape: he would know, he was a cat that stay in the streets. He blinked again as she picked him up and laid him on the grown and lightly frown. Jumping back up on the bench, he looked up at the teal hair girl. He had to gain some height on her, right? It didn't help when she stood up. He smiled and shook his head. "No! No I'm sure you can talk to me. It doesn't hurt a thing at all. I swear!" he said with a grin.
"I see everything in those self-entitled senshi types!" he said in a mocking voice. "But I also see everything that could have been you, too. I see a broken girl getting drag in a deeper broken world." he paused to frown. "But there still hope! Really. You just need some guidance." he said smiling and pointing to himself. "Pippin is here to help like always! I could show what senshi stand for and maybe you would like it and join the right side" he said in a hopeful voice, knowing that she would say no, but he still had some hope. Not everyone was pure evil.

Gypsum raised an eyebrow levelly at it. Not hurt a thing, eh? At the 'broken girl' comment, however, she finally just rolled her eyes, hands on her hips. "Pippin, right? No, Pippin, I'm pretty sure I'm on the right side of this one. Now, was there something else you wanted?" She wondered if she could garner some kind of reward if she captured the cheeky little critter and turned him in to one of her superiors. "I could call animal control." Normally, she liked cats, but this one...His goody-two-shoes aura just rubbed her the wrong way.

He gave her a big toothy grin and looked away. "I was um...you know just giving you some options. I mean you know to uh...like you you know maybe explore your options here. There's not need to get hostlie." he said looking up to her with big kitty eyes.
Animal control was such a harsh thing to do. He hated out smarting them and it was just a big waste of his time so he knew that it was time to go because this girl was not going to be easily swayed. He smiled and started to back away. "Um I think that's my senshi calling....I best be going. It was nice meeting you" he said with a big fake grin. He turned around quickly and darted away.
