She was quite nicely bundled up for once, having 'borrowed' one of Ren's many long sleeve shirts. LW didn't normally get quite so wrapped up in clothes, but right now, they were a comfort. Especially since half of said clothes were kidnapped from Ren's closet.
He'd forgive her. Maybe. As long as she didn't get any holes in the shirt. Or shirt's. She may have snuck a second one under the other one. But if LW was being honest, it was the easiest way to keep his scent surrounding her right now. And that comfort, she really needed. Especially after what she had 'discovered'. Randomly. And the consequences of exploring that Jack damned Haunted House...
The she-wolf shivered and her arms wrapped lightly around her stomach (which was still tender to the touch, even after several days). She had discovered that a new reflex had developed when anything got near her stomach without her paying attention. She'd tense up and jump back if she could.
Stupid Hunter.
...stupid werewolf.
LW sighed and let her gaze fall on the path she walked. She didn't really have a destination in mind at first, just needing to get out and walk around a little. But her feet had led her down a familiar path towards equally familiar dorms.
Without pausing to consider if she should go bother her friend, LW headed down into the Ghost Dorms and to the growingly familiar room. And, again, without bothering to consider things such as 'if the black dog was here', 'maybe she should knock first'...LW gave a single warning knock and slipped into Tybalt's room.
"You are not going to believe what I found." Was her greeting.

"Huh, what?" Tybalt was in the middle of grooming Umbra when the she-wolf entered the room and mentioned something about a discovery.
Setting the dog brush down on the floor and giving the cu sith a pat on the head, he turned towards LW and gave her his full attention. The ghoul looked terrible. Though he couldn't see the many bruises she had gotten, he could tell just by looking at her that something was wrong.
"What did you find. Or better yet, who did what to get you like this?" He asked, concern creeping into his voice. If someone had beat her up, there would be hell to pay. The black dog would make damn sure of that.

LW gave Umbra a cheerful smile - or as cheerful of one as she could pull off right now. And a part of her felt relieved, shoulders sagging a fraction, that Tybalt was here. She really hadn't planned on another course of action had he not been in his room. Maybe curl up with his minipets until he returned? Or Ren burned the school down looking for her?
The she-wolf sighed softly to herself, stepping inside and shutting the door behind her. "Hope I'm not interrupting?" She gestured towards the minipet. "I just thought I'd stop by and chat." LW added quite lamely. Especially after what her greeting had been.
Her hands twitched, arms falling back into place to gently cover her stomach. LW stared at her friend, debating on just telling him he was being and idiot and nothing was wrong.
"I found this....interesting corridor." She said warily, moving to sit across from him. "It was so strange. It just appeared. Like, here I was, walking down to check the announcement board, and bam! This corridor appeared. And it was never there before." LW added with a frown. And why yes, she was avoiding answering the second half of his question. For now.
"I followed it, to see where it led." The she-wolf paused. "My first mistake." She murmured, one hand reaching up to rub at her face. Then she looked over at her friend. "This corridor? It took me straight to the front door of the Haunted House."

"Uh huh, chat..." The black dog watched the she wolf as she moved about the room and shook his head. "Nah, Umbra just needed a grooming is all. She was starting to get a mat." He answered, plucking the clump of fur off the floor to show her. "What do you mean you just 'found' a corridor?" He asked, discarding the fluff and looking directly at LW. Though as she continued, his face paled, leaving the black dog stunned.
"LW--Jack damn--please tell me you're making this up. Are you seriously saying that some corridor just randomly showed up out of nowhere and led you right back to that blasted house?" He had started pacing back and forth, but stopped, rolling his eyes back. "Wait, what am I saying..? This is Amityville. Of course something like that would happen!" He felt like banging his head against a wall. "This is how you got to be in this condition I assume..?" He asked, looking her over again. "Don't bother denying it and tell me what happened after you got there."

The she-wolf eyed the clump of fur, a faint smile flickering across her lips. Though that faded quickly as she found something rather fascinating in the floor and not looking at her friend. Yeah, she still had a ton of guilt weighing her down over the whole ordeal. Alright a million tons of guilt.
She cringed a little, finally glancing up to watch Tybalt pace before he stopped. LW didn't lower her eyes this time, just nodded her head. "I wish I were pulling your tail. But it's true! I don't know how or why it appeared either. Just that it did." Her arms wrapped around her stomach, tail curling about her legs. "It was....kind of like that strange feeling we got when...our groups entered the haunted house the first time. Except you just keep walking down this corridor until it deposits you in front of the haunted house."
Now she felt like hiding. Ren's reaction had been hard enough. Would Tybalt flip out too? Not like I don't deserve it. LW reminded herself, sighing heavily.
"Almost correct." She murmured. "I ran into a Hunter, Tybalt. They somehow have access to the haunted house as well. And I had to fight him or....not come home at all."

"What!? Hunters? Are you serious?" Anything the black dog was about to say died in his throat. He would have to scold her later. For now, he was simply glad that the she-wolf had even come back at all. "Jack... I'm assuming it ended in your favor then?" He asked, going by the fact that she was here and mostly unharmed. Which, despite her bad decision making, made the black dog feel a burst of pride for his friend. He would have paid to see her kick a hunters a**. Though this still posed the problem of the same thing happening again.
Putting a hand through his hair, he sat down beside the she-wolf and sighed. "Do you think they're the cause of this new... problem? The hunters I mean." He asked. Not that it would surprise him if they were behind it. After all, they seemed to behind a lot of the problems lately.

LW cringed a little at thinking on the whole experience. She felt small and still very foolish on top of the ridiculous amount of guilt over hurting those closest to her. She only managed to nod at Tybalt, pulling her legs up against her chest, intending to wrap her arms around them and curl upon herself. But pain shot through her and a hiss escaped, quickly changing that plan of action. Her stomach still hurt and probably would be sore for some time. Not to mention there was most likely going to be a scar where the hunter had shot her.
At least she hadn't walked away the only one in terrible shape though. It was probably yet another foolish thing for her to feel, but LW was proud of herself for beating him. For being able to make it back to everyone.
"It did. But I won't lie, Tybalt. It was...a very close call. If my last attack had failed..." Her tail curled closer around her.
Tybalt's question pulled a frown out of her as she thought about it. It had almost slipped her mind, what Gale had mentioned during their battle. Something that had mostly been to himself but she'd heard it. Though at the time, she'd merely brushed it off as unimportant compared to trying to survive. "I...don't know. But...I think it's possible in some unintentional way." However the thought of them being able to have any influence on them was...disturbing.

Tybalt's expression was unreadable. There was too many emotions fighting to take over. One being anger at her for going off alone. Two being the fear of knowing that something terrible could have happened to her, and three, seeing that she was mostly okay. Maybe a little banged up, bruised, and jumpy, but alive and that was certainly better than the alternative.
Settling on being content with her safety, he gave a sigh and spoke again.
"Just one thing..." He started, looking her directly in the eyes. "Promise not to go alone next time." He asked. If he was there, or even Ren, they could have helped her in her time of need. He didn't like finding out after that her life had been endanger.

The she-wolf rubbed one of her arms lightly in the awkward silence, or what was awkward to her. One arm rested gently along her stomach still, a nagging need in her to protect that vulnerable spot. And fear of showing it. But she trusted Tybalt. And Ren. Jove too. They were probably the only three she felt somewhat 'relaxed' with. Even if they all gave her the same look, letting her know she'd been an idiot.
LW glanced up to meet her friends eyes when he spoke. She may have shrank down a little like a pup getting scolded, but what he said had her sighing heavily. That she could do. "I promise I won't." A very small smile curled her lips up briefly.
For a moment, she was quiet, clearly deciding on something. Reaching out, LW gently grabbed her friends hand and dropped something in it. She didn't say anything, letting the small object be a sign of her promise and that he was her best friend.
"Need any help brushing the others?" She asked, eying his other minipets. A normal activity with a friend. She really needed that right now. "I don't have anything else to get back to at the moment." Except Ren. He'd probably be a little upset when she wasn't in her room. LW sighed to herself. For now, she would hang with Tybalt and enjoy her fellow canine's company.

Tybalt gave the emblem in his hand a good long look, before he closed his own hand and held it over hers. It took a second, but when he opened it another rounded object dropped into the she-wolf's hand. Something black/blue, and grinning up at her.
"Should have given it to you before now anyways." Was all he said, as he picked up the dog brush and tugged Umbra over again. The Cu sith came willingly. Though rather than stand for him, she leaned heavily against LW, looking expectant.
"Well, I guess you have you're answer." He said with a snort.
