Once back from the Haunted House and still using her weapon to help her walk, Tori total didn't want to visit the infirmary to see to her injuries as she didn't want to run into Dr. H. She was still a little scared of him when he shot Golem Clarice. But Aklin had convinced her to at least go over there to get some supplies were she could tend herself to which she did ever so carefully not to draw too much attention to herself and when asked she just told them that she didn't want to bother anyone and that she could do it herself. Once she had gotten what she thought she would need to retreat back to her dorm room for some peace and quite. With a lot of swearing, anger and a load of other emotions with all the pain that she was dealing with. She had showered and had gotten dressed into her pajamas with Aklin in his unsummoned form around her neck. Still murring and trying to sooth her the best that he could, feeling bad that his shield failed, but they both knew there was nothing that could have done to prevent it. "To hell with this," Tori yelled as she was getting frustrated that it was a lot harder than it had looked to treat herself with a good number of her fingers and toes broken other fractured and bruises that had just started to show up all over her body after she had taken a long hot shower. One thing that she was glad of that she wasn't bloody any longer. Aklin said in a soft calming voice. "No I do not want." she replied in a grump and unwilling to go as she didn't want to be remind that she was useless right now. Tori had to think on that and then it hit her that she hadn't seen Before show up at the Haunted House after she left him to follow that creature that had taken Gale. Carefully she took her phone out of her coat and a little swearing more as she typed up a text: Huni Pi Heya Before, if your not busy I need some help. I'm in my room, the door in unlocked and just come on in. Sighing as she put down her phone and taking some ibuprofen to help with the pain or at least do dull it.

Unlike most of the other trainees, Before had escaped the horseman's father's crushing presence. And he escaped it not through skill or cunning, just sheer dumb-luck and an overly clingy portal, apparently. His returned to Deus did not require him to visit the infirmary or to be tended to in any way. Other than his wounded pride and general WTF JUST HAPPEN HALP!? state of mind, Before was a-ok, well, for Before that is.
So he was busy mulling about in his room, stewing in self-pity right on schedule when he got a text. O.o? He fumbled for the device a bit before he finally managed to check the message. Oh~ It was from Story! She was one of the unlucky ones who got hurt, he'd seen a whole bunch of them go try to get patched up. He had slunk away, ashamed that he came out unscathed through no fault of his own for once. And that was probably why he felt so ashamed for it.
But no time to dwell on his shortcomings! Story needed him! He quickly ran out and realized... 8Ianaggeela Uh. Room number? ;; Out in the hall already though...

Tori hadn't been afraid of the heir of Conquest at all but she did with his father and total didn't want to meet him again or any full-fledged horseman for that mater. "So Aklin from what I can gather from your tone and want to attack the Kelpie, I take it that you don't like them very much?" she asked her weapon. Aklin answered just as Tori's phone went off and she looked at it to see it was from Before. "We will talk about this later, if that is fine with you Lin," she said to him.
Reading it and feeling very stupid that she wanted to smack herself on the forehead for not realizing he didn't know her room number, but didn't knowing it would hurt a lot. Quickly as she could she replied back to him. Huni Pi Sorry about that, its room 148.

Before had remained standing outside his room the entire time, waiting for a response from Tori. He was bouncing on his heels, glancing left and right, as if half-expecting the female Lifer to peer out of one of the may doors lining the corridor. The vibration from his phone alerted him that he'd gotten a reply. A wordless nod and some button-pushing later, Before was outside Room 148.
Tori may have said she left her door unlocked but Before still knocked all the same. "Stoooory~" The prolonged syllable was an attempt at cute, but given his friend's condition it might have come off as obnoxious. "Whatcha need help wi-OH MY GOD!!!" he gawked in dismay at all the bandages. "Oh, oh, Story, I'm so sorry..."

All that Tori wanted to do was to read to get her mind off of everything but its hard with broken bones and the pain from being squished. Finally she could feel the ibuprofen start to do it job, knowing that there was more pain on the way for her fingers and toes to set properly and to have them heal properly.
Hearing a knocking at her door she smiled in relief in hearing her name call by her friend as it was good to hear someone in a better mood than she felt and had a small calming effect too as Aklin murred softly in her head. Still smiling when Before came into her room and did expect one of his reactions to how she looked but not when he said he was sorry. "Its not your fault, Before. It was the horseman's fault. So don't be sorry one bit," she replied to him calmly with Aklin chuckling in her head. "I need some help in splinting up my fingers and toes that are broken. I thought to do it myself but its a lot harder that I thought it would be," Tori said a little sheepishly.

Before continued to pout, partly at being told not to be sorry (because it was the only thing he was 100% sure he was good at) and mostly at how bad Tori's injuries were. He didn't think it was that bad, then again he didn't know the extent of the Horseman's power. The pout, however, pulled out into a grim line when Tori explained what it was exactly she wanted help with.
"How'd you get all the way to your room without getting those looked at? And why'd they let you come here unassisted in the first place?" he frowned. He had half a mind to talk to someone about it but then remembered he was just a trainee and as such, he was inconsequential. Somehow, this further enforced the idea that everyone in the position of authority in Deus was simply setting them up for failure. Like what they were supposed to do wasn't difficult enough.
He gave a sigh then shook his head, forcing a cheerful smile onto his face. "Can't blame you, I guess. I'd prolly try to do it myself too," he awkwardly chuckled as he reached for the supplies strewn about. "I-I've never done anything like this but um, do you have any first aid books with diagrams or something I could follow?" 8C

Tori had been glad that Before hadn’t experienced the Horseman’s power, it was something she would never forget how it felt and for the first time since waking up she had been a little scared of any of the creatures she had met.
“Well the main reason that I didn’t want to have a run in with Dr. H and I’m a little scared to meet him on my own,” Tori said and grinning a little sheepishly. “I used Aklin sorta like a walking stick the best that I could. As to why they might have thought I wasn’t as bad as the others even tho I was and I was very adamant that I could take care of myself or at least I thought that I could,” she added and next time when she was injured and she knew there would be a next time that she would get looked at before retreating to her room.
She was glad to have Before here to help her and to keep her mind off of the pain as they just talked. Tori just sheepishly grinned at what he said. “I think the next time I will get looked at, as broken anything sucks to try and treat your self,” she replied as Aklin murred his way of helping with the pain in his own way. “I haven’t either besides just reading about it. Yep I do,” she said as she pointed to the book shelf above her desk were there were a lot of books. “It should be the very end book on the left side of the shelf,”

Before shuddered at the mention of H, "Yeaaaah, best not to be alone when you're with him. When he's around guys it totes seems okay but when he's with girls... iunno, you get this kinduva sorta I need an aduuuuuuuuuuult vibe to him." Before debated on mentioning Candace buuuuuuuuuuut thought against it. Before was many things but he tried his best not to be a gossip. Even if he himself didn't mind hearing about stuff. emotion_awesome
He shuffled his way towards the shelf of books, gloved hands idly thumbing the spines until he found what he was looking for, "Ah ha! Here we go..." he began to flip through the pages as he returned to Tori's side. "Awesome! You really did get everything you needed! Remind me to team up with you whenever we gots to go on External Missions," he grinned toothily at her.

Seeing Before shudder and to what he said next about Dr. H, Tori really didn't want to meet her division leader alone and hope that if she did it would be with others around. "I will definitely keep that in mind and thanks for the warning too," she replied and thought that if she needed anything she would just go and to Clarice as Tori knew Clarice was nice even if her weapon hurt a lot.
Tori patiently waited for her friend to find the good and glad to hear that she did indeed get all the things that she would need. "I'm glad that I did. I wasn't too sure if I did or not. I total will, as that sounds like a lot of fun. It will definitely have to be once I've healed enough were walking doesn't feel like I'm walking on needles," Tori replied with a little smile.

The reminder of how much Tori's injuries hurt seemed to sober the Misty trainee. "I feel like I should have been there with you guys. Don't think I woulda been any use but. Solidarity and that stuff... y'know?" He murmured softly, carefully pressing down on the pages with his palm to hold the book open while the other hand reached for the necessary materials for the splints.
"B-but then again, it wouldn't be my first time there," he quickly added, "So other than the crushing, I prolly didn't miss much, did I? Or did the horseman say anything important?" He doubted the creatures would have said anything that mattered but what harm would there be in asking?

"There are going to be times were you not able to, but don't let that get you down and you are useful. One person can change the tide of how things flow and one more to make sure those creatures know who the boss is. So don't think like that, Before," Tori replied trying to get her best friend not to think that he wasn't of any use as he was. "I know but there will be plenty of other times for all of that and I'm for one hoping that we can do it over something fun and not so painful," she replied as she thought of the movie night that Bix had said to her and wondering when they was going to be one.
Tori's interest perked when she heard that he had been there before. She had seen in other and heard that the Haunted House was a familiar place and she didn't know one bit about the place. "Oh you have so what happened there if you don't mind telling?" she asked all curious. "Well the whole thing had been a trap. The horseman did say that the clan of Conquest thought that Amityville is unworthy, that would be the creatures school right?" she asked to make sure she was right. "He called us livestock and Caelius agreed with him and also called us disposable and that is just about it," Tori added still not really liking being disposable one bit. She didn't know if any of that was important but it was better that he knew.

He gave Tori a grateful smile, both for the reassurance and the info. At least he had a vague idea of what went on, crushing and pain aside. "Guess that would make it the school we went to. And don't let Caelius' toxic personality or the Horsemen get to you. Yeah, we're still trainees right but we'll be Hunters one day. Or you will." That last part was murmured beneath his breath.
Teal eyes darted away for a moment before he carefully began to follow the instructions illustrated in the book. "The Haunted House visit happened before you guys woke up. All the time we were awake, Aria trained us and showed us how to use our FEAR charges. Then it turns out it was a fake Aria all that time and no one knew where the real Aria was. Lots of stuff happened, are you sure you wanna hear it from me?" He was looking mighty uncomfortable at this point.

Tori still didn't like it, but she guessed that she should just get use to it and just live with it. "Alright, but it still stings a little." she replied. "That is very true, the both of us will one day," she replied not really hearing the last part of what he said under his breath but Aklin had but kept it to himself. She was still very curious about Mist Division she knew what they did but reading it was different than hearing about it and she just might have to ask around later on, maybe.
Breathing in deeply knowing that it was going to hurt to get all patched up but the sooner the better. Tori listened to what he said and had to wonder about the fake Aria but oh well that was a little over her head since she didn't know too much about what happened before she awoke. But she was curious about it but she could see that Before was uncomfortable talking about it, but she still wanted to know. "Well I do what to know a little if your willing to say, but if not then we can talk about something different," she answered as she kept on breathing deeply as to also not freak out from all the pain, that would just be rude of her to do that with her best friend.

Before looked up at Tori in concern, "I-if my hand's too heavy, lemme know! Don't wanna end up hurting you when I should be helping you get patched up..." he pouted, slowing down how fast he had been winding the bandages around the splints.
He appreciated that Tori was alright with him not sharing everything. He supposed he could tell her about some of the stuff they did that didn't send him into I-Feel-Nothing-But-Pain mode "Well, the house has a lot of funky rooms to it. All sorts of weird s**t and junk, like an icy room with break-away ice-floors. It's a wonder none of us got hypothermia!" 8C

"Don't worry, I know its going to hurt no matter what, but I will let you know," Tori replied just as one of her fingers that he was wrapping up made a little popping sound as all the bones got relined to which she made a face at the pain. She had thought that she had gotten most of them popped back in place but apparently not. "You are helping and you won't hurt me more than I am already. Well I do look a little better than I did when I first got here," she said trying hard not to show her pain too much.
Tori listened to his every word, it helped her keep her mind distracted. "That is very interesting. I have never heard of a house doing that before. Well that is a good thing that you didn't as being sick is never fun," she replied as Aklin prodded her at a question she had been wondering before the squishing. "Ummm, I know this is going to sound stupid, but what are the Ninja Turtles?" she asked sounding a little sheepish.
