*~::Machinations::~* [7/4 - Early Morning, 1000 Floors Beneath the Tokyo Underground]
Far beneath the city of Tokyo in the center of the five seals is a Confinement Chamber that has long been a centerpiece of the Yatagarasu's work. Within many demons are sealed, of varying powers, with many so strong that their very existence outside of the chamber could threaten the real world beyond the gates. However, beneath even the chamber is a secret that only those with the highest levels of authority even hear rumors about...and only those with the perception to learn the truth know of its actual existence. This secret is the truth, the goal, the final piece of the great puzzle that has been coming together since the day that Emperor Tenrai fell and the New Shogunate came into power. And now, with the country at war in Sumaru City there descends a man into the lowest depths of this city, a scheme begun and kept concealed within his own confines, hidden from the world, kept precious like a gem until this very moment...the moment when the truths will begin to reveal themselves. Not through the Confinement Chamber, but under...the Shogun and his most secret advisers break into the chamber of the country's most dangerous hidden truth and make their move.
The Grand Machination of Motonari Mori is about to unfold...and with all eyes on the City of Rumors, his own absence from the war overlooked by all, he moves without challenge...unchecked.
In the wee hours of the night, beneath the capital of the Land of the Rising Sun, a new day dawns for an entire country...and a new God is born... Quote: This is not an interactive event! Do not post in this forum unless you were on the following list of invited guests:

*~::Motonari Mori, 1st Warlord of the Mori Shogunate::~* "There's a scheme brewing in the Land of the Rising Sun...""My dream for this country...? You've asked me that question enough times, I suppose I could finally grace you with an answer. To be perfectly clear, I could care less about the country as a whole; Raines could have it once I've set him upon the throne. He could have the whole world, for all the difference it would make to me. All I care for is the peace and stability of the lands of Chugoku; the eternal preservation of those lands is and has always been my most important desire. However...there is a truth to the idea that no singular land will ever enjoy true peace and stability without the need to watch its back unless all the lands surrounding her are also under their dominion. And to preserve that barrier, you must also secure dominance over the lands beyond. ...If humans weren't such boring and predictably violent creatures, I would never have had need to inject myself into this country's affairs even during the age of the samurai. What I have sought has never been dominance, only for those who know not the proper path to defer to those with a greater wisdom and stature than themselves. I have sought peace and stability, and in some measure I had them, until I first passed from this world and left it in the less-than-capable hands of those who came after. Alas, I have learned in my time that the only leadership upon which I have ever truly been able to rely is my own...as it should be. But even I will not live forever, nor can the providence of my clan endure beyond my lifespan for certain. Though I hate to admit it, eventually, it is without question that someone will fail. How then do I ensure the eternal peace of my lands? The stability of my clan? ...How can I protect that which I hold precious to me without surrendering the fate of such things to the whims of men and women of a lesser caliber than I? The answer to this question is what I have sought, in this lifetime and the last...and now, at long last, I have found the answer. ...Isn't that correct, Sukuna-Hikona?"
His eyes shifted to the side of the small chamber they had created, carved out of the very bedrock of the capital so far beneath the streets of the city...walls of pure white-painted steel down a long hallway towards an elevator behind him gave way to a massive chasm of rock, a cave that had been naturally cut open in Tokyo's underground not by man nor water nor even a vein of oil or natural gas or the shifting of the land. This chasm had been carved out of the Earth itself by energy, the very life force of the demonic power that swirled throughout these lands and gathered into a stream beneath the foundations of this country. All roads lead to Tokyo, both above ground and below...and the supernatural vein of energy, pure magatsuhi, had been running like a river beneath the Confinement Chamber and the city for longer than most could even begin to fathom. An endless pool of supernatural energy, a well of power gushing along as though it were simply waiting to be claimed, and now this path had been carved beneath the very Chamber that had been meant to conceal it...by the one man that likely never needed to find it. His eyes shifted from the blue river of strength to his side and he could see on the floor a figure, small and low to the ground with wild dark hair staring out at the power with a lustful gaze in its eye. The very expression gave the Shogun a small feeling of distaste, but he knew that it would soon pass. The devil looked up at him after a moment and nodded mutely in response to his question, a simple acknowledgement that it had been asked and that his wisdom was indeed recognized. Turning his eyes then to the other side of him he could see his young descendant Motoko on the far side of a blond young woman that he had personally invited to see this moment. His hand shifted down to take hold of hers as his other raised to point at the vein of supernatural power before them, literally enough power to erase this country from the planet Earth if one were so inclined to use it that way. This was the reason that he had dug so deep, the prize that he had been searching for when he came into power in the capital of their country. This was the answer...the truth...the great endgame of his Machination. This was why Duke Devlin knew that there was no hope in fighting against him...this was why no matter what happened in Sumaru City, the winner of this battle had already been decided.
"Do you see now the rewards of simple patience? Do you understand that this country is so wrapped up in their arrogance, their own narrow views of the world, of justice, of the importance of events and the hint of a little power to be grasped within their hands that they could be blinded to the most important treasure in the whole of the country? ...Now, rather than the agents of the Crows or even the family of the deceased Emperors who kept this secret, the one holding the key to Pandora's Box is Motonari Mori. All I had to do was take advantage of this country's obsession with battle; by taking advantage of Sumaru City's unusual circumstance, I held a carrot before their noses...a chance to indulge their perpetual blood-lust, seek their empty heroism, and emerge with a gaudy prize as a result. I knew that none of them could truly resist when tempted by such an offer," the Shogun explained calmly, knowing that with his schemes beyond the reach of those who would have intervened he was free to elaborate on the steps that brought him here without fear of interruption...and if there was a redeeming quality within him, it was this willingness to be open with the woman that he had deemed his future wife, his unabashed honesty in explaining to her how he had turned the entire country against itself and misguided them, directing their eyes away from the greatest danger at all, "It all began with a simple rumor...that on a certain day in the Seventh Month of the year, 13 Mysterious Crystals would appear in the skies of Sumaru City. I planted the rumor and had several of my own spies spread it...by reaching the proper sources, the rumor had become reality with more than enough time to spare. The Crystals themselves would contain a great power...that was the bait that would lure those who were less than interested in the simple mystery. ...And I knew that if I feigned interest and sent my forces into the city, my opponents would have no choice but to answer and reveal themselves. They crawled out of their holes like rats...even the Crows turned on their master, though their betrayal was not unexpected. And since I needed a summoner to learn the ritual and the exact location of the city's vein of power, I knew that I needed to look elsewhere to discover what I wanted to know. This was the reason I found the story of the Embryon's fall so very interesting; I knew it was hardly the way of the Crows to simply hit a military base so openly...that meant they were framed, and by someone with the ability to effectively impersonate them. I also knew that their location had to be close in relation to the events in Inaba. Knowing where to look, I only needed someone with the proper eyes and resources to locate him...which was why I summoned the Lord of the Taihaku Demon Clan with his Mangekyo Eye to the mainland. ...From there, it was only a matter of time before he delivered my message to the only living great summoner not subservient to their Heralds, and a little longer still before I received my chance to speak with him in person. ...I won't bother explaining to you the details of that conversation; all you need to know is that I got the information I desired and he received an ample compensation. Once that was complete, all I had left to do was wait for the seed I planted in the City of Rumors to bear fruit...and for all of the eyes in the country to focus themselves on the chaos. ...Which brings us to where we are now. Here, we stand before the greatest source of supernatural power in all the known world. ...I intend to claim it. Not just for myself, but for the entire Mori Clan...and to ensure the stability we desire, I will shake this rotten country down to its very core. I will take control of an army so ruthless and powerful that even the Devil Kings will tremble in their wake...a Soulless Army, incapable of the rebellion and incompetence that characterizes timed-out relics like the One-Eyed Dragon and the Dark King Mitsunari. ...I will not spare even the Amatsukami, the very gods in my cleansing of these lands; in return for control of the Soulless Army and the power within this vein, I will turn over the divine rights to this country to their rightful holders..the Kunitsukami. With the power of the Soulless God at my fingertips, we will declare war on every last person who resists our new world order. Until one-by-one, they are all erased. ...You wished to know what it is that I desire? The answer is simple...I wish for nothing...and I wish for everything."
The Shogun stepped out from the short line of bodies, and he released gently the hand of the blond that he had been standing beside before moving to the very edge of the vein of supernatural power. Flowing beneath the city it had been untouched for so very long, a source of power for the Chamber of Confinement, but no longer...it was now a tool for the new world, for peace, for the Shogunate of the Mori Clan. His hands bore within them each several strange talismans, and his hands moved in a very measured fashion before he dropped each one into the stream below, a reverse five-pointed star forming atop the almost liquid-magatsuhi, a bright glow emanating from within. His arms raised to either side as the well began to rumble, and the surface began to bubble, glowing within the star that he had drawn. Moving up to crouch beside him, Sukuna-Hikona quickly slashed at its own palm and several drops of crimson-black blood fell into the center of the glowing star, filling it with an eerie crimson that tainted the brilliantly white-blue glow with a demonic red. Then, his chocolate eyes, still calm and shining as he glanced over his shoulder, he saw the green orbs of his future-wife and the proud clansmen beside her. He spoke only once, one last question before taking a final step into the future.
"Now, the summoning has begun. Soon, the Soulless Army will be at my command, and the Earthen gods which were sealed by the Amatsukami will be unleashed upon this country to reclaim their rightful place in the world. ...Is there anything left that you would say to me before it ends? As hard as you may find it to believe, this is as much for you as it is for anyone. You are, after all, the person who is most precious to me...that is why I wished for you to join me here...and to keep you safe from the chaos in Sumaru City that is soon to be at its end."Quote: A horrifying truth has been revealed! The one behind the rumor which created the Murakumo Crystals was none other than Motonari Mori himself! And the rumor was spread to create a distraction for a much more important move in his Grand Machination!
Far beneath Tokyo, Motonari Mori has begun an irreversible ritual to unseal the Earthen Gods, the Kunitsukami, from a deep sleep forced upon them by the Amatsukami, the patron gods of Japan! Unleashing them upon the country, they will destroy all of those who oppose their lordship and reclaim their place upon the country's pantheon of gods!
Using the knowledge of the true Ichiro Kuzunoha, Motonari Mori and the Earthen God Sukuna-Hikona summon force a Soulless Army to enforce his will and defend his position in the capital with ease! Free from fatigue, fear, emotion, and indecision, these solders are the perfect warriors...and all are at the command of their new Shogun and Emperor!
What's more, Motonari Mori moves to give rise to the Soulless God...claiming its power for his own! And with this power, becoming an unchallengeable monolith at the head of the Japanese Pantheon...a true Shogun for the Land of the Rising Sun...one who can enforce peace and stability for the whole of the country, and of course, for his beloved lands of Chugoku as well.
Present to see the change in this world are only the Shogun's family, Motoko Mori and his future wife, Minori Koroko...in addition to a man, the mysterious Cid Raines...whose involvement remains a mystery to all but Motonari Mori himself. What purpose is there in having them all present to witness this rebirth of a nation?
Having executed his plans to the letter, the country can only wait for their grave oversight to become known...and hope that even after the ritual has ended, there is still hope, however small.
...The Soulless Army Arises!...

Cid Raines, The Emperor of the Nation of Japan"The people will follow your word, trusting the savior who held them together through these tough times; and never knowing that it was all an act, luring them into eating from the palm of your hand." Cid Raines looked over towards Minori from his place a few steps behind Motonari Mori, standing on the opposite side of the clever and diabolical Shogun but at the same time still caught in the palm of the Child of the Sun's hand. Even echoing his opinion in the presence of Mori was a severe gamble that could end with dire consequences, and so he merely stayed behind the head of the new government, waiting for him to finish his heartfelt explanation to his dear fiance as time passed and he lingered in the Dragon Vein a few moments longer. When it was over however, Cid Raines nodded, turning and leaving the area so that he could fulfill the duty he'd been brought here to perform today, his free will stripped from his as he followed the only path left for a puppet to perform. Quote: A broadcast appears on every station, on every working TV in Japan. There appears to be a press conference, with more people gathered to learn what has developed in the government than ever before. At first the stage is empty, but finally a younger black haired man walks out on stage and approaches the podium. His outfit is decorated with military medals, and his presence insinuates something important; that he is of a high standing family, and that what he has to say is the reason that this has drawn such attention.
People of Japan!
Nearly three weeks ago, our homeland was ravaged by a monster, who assaulted not only our government, but also our homes, our people, and our very way of lives! As most of you know by now, this tragedy claimed the lives of not only the members of the Diet, but of the Emperor and every remaining family member at the time. Since then Motonari Mori has guarded us against the worst threats imaginable, in order to maintain the safety and stability of our nation from further threats both internal and external! Without any representatives to lead us our nation was doomed to anarchy, but without any guidance Motonari Mori seized control in order to keep us from veering into our own destruction, and without provocation he has put himself, his family, and everyone who has entrusted him with their lives in harm's way in order to ensure that no threat, foreign or domestic, would take advantage of our great nation in these times of trial! He has shed his own blood, so that this murderer could be found; so that those who wished to take advantage of our vulnerability would meet only the swift hammer of justice, while you, and your families could rest safely at night! Our children have been protected because he was willing to take swift, definitive action regardless of the consequences, even knowing that claiming the title of Shogun which has been dismissed for a hundred years could make him seem like a tyrant. And yet even now he has proven that he is willing to step down from his position as our ruler if a true heir could arise, though his men still guard our borders, and has chosen to accept any punishment that the new Emperor would dole out willingly.
Ladies and gentlemen, sons and daughters of Japan, I am the only remaining blood heir to the former Emperor Tenrou, Cid Raines! On the day of the Emperor's assassination, through the loyalty of my fellow squad members from the JSDF, I escaped the knife's edge by mere inches and was forced to flee the Capital amidst the bloodshed, watching noble soldiers of Japan whom I had served with die before me. And even as I escaped the Capital I was pursued tirelessly, until at my wit's end I could no longer imagine returning to serve the country, and the people I loved! There, in the depths of despair, I was shown a beacon of light when I and my small, tattered entourage were faced with the terrorist's final assault only to be rescued by the timely arrival of another unit, a group serving under Motonari Mori who had been pursuing those villains, unaware that I and my men remained! When I returned to the Capital, I was brought before Motonari Mori and after discovering the situation, revealed myself to be of the Emperor's bloodline. It was then, as I stared into the eyes of a man who's intentions many doubted, that he immediately swore his service to me and laid down his arms even as his men stood at attention, ordering anyone who did not recognize me to acknowledge at least his own oath at once! So when I asked myself if this man was a criminal, a villain who had seized the country for his own gain, there was no doubt in my mind that these were lies. What I saw was a Child of Nipon, doing what many were too afraid to do in a time of suffering and putting his very being in between our country and further harm! And I do not intent to punish him for doing something, that I believe any true Japanese man would do when the land of his birth, and the home of his own family was threatened!
I will say it again; I am Cid Raines, and from this point on I am the Emperor of Japan! Motonari Mori has left his fate in my hands, but I do not intend to keep him from where he belongs. From this point on, the head of the Mori Clan shall remain the head of the Japanese Military and the Emperor's personal aid, second in rank only to myself and the sun that is shining on our beautiful country today! A man who is willing to lay down his life in order to keep this country's peace should not be kept from his duty, and Motonari Mori as well as every member of the Mori Clan shall continue to function in our country for time to come, in order to continue their safeguarding of the peace and prosperity of Japan. Furthermore, due to my return and at my new Shogun's request, the Capital will be temporarily under supervision by the JSDF in order to prevent any further attempts on my life, and to ensure the stability of our country until things have settled back into a more manageable state. The city itself will not be locked down like the recent, unfortunate events in Inaba, however these elites guards will be monitoring any and all citizens entering or leaving the city due to the continued turmoil caused by numerous groups who have chosen to disgrace themselves by challenging our nation when it perceived us as vulnerable. These remnants of the past will be swiftly swept away, and under my reign, I promise that our nation will have peace again!
Long live our families! Long live our nation! Long live Japan!"

Minori Koroko This place…she couldn’t help but to think she shouldn’t be there. Why had she accepted to come, anyway? It wasn’t that he had coerced her to…or threatened her and all of her loved ones if she didn’t…he didn’t even press the matter when he had first mentioned it to her; all the time he had talked in his usual calm, if only a little cold voice…and yet, here she was; and yet, she had accepted without a doubt…despite of the little voice in her head warning about it. Perhaps it had been an abrupt decision on her part; perhaps she just couldn’t help but wonder what he was planning…what was inside of his mind…to know of his plans instead of being taken by surprise by them. But now…the blond wasn’t sure of her decision anymore. All the way down to this cave, the girl had sensed power greater than what she had ever felt…and dangers no one should ever face. And now here…here at the center of the Earth, below the city…she couldn’t help but to stare intently at the blue rivers of pure energy running freely, untouched by any. Wide, green orbs turned back to brown ones, searching, looking for answers. And as if understanding the questions in her eyes, he answered. Minori listened, and as words began waving together into the astute plan Motonari had been scheming for some time, her face getting pale, her eyes getting even wider at the realization…as everything started making sense. The War… many of her friends were struggling there…many were risking their lives for the sake of the city… The blond frowned slightly, thoughts still swarming her head. They were all puppets… They were getting hurt, they were giving their all…for nothing? To be pieces of a chess board coming to its end in this very moment? All for the safety and peace of the lands. She had to accept that she would do all in her power to protect her home…that was part of the reason she had joined the Investigation Team in the first place…her home and her loved ones, they were all there…all important people and places she wanted to protect. But...would she be able to sacrifice so many for that? Innocents and not quite so…all together. Was it really that what…she was doing? Were they not so different, after all?
Eyes moved away from the energy river before them, turning to the hand taking hold of hers. She didn’t flinch or moved away from the touch, her own fingers curling only barely in instinct before she could even think about it. The feeling of being near someone when she was faltering? The need to have some support? She didn’t even know. Rumors…the Crystals…the string puppeteering…all the people gathered in the war…the perfect chance to slip unseen while everybody else was busy elsewhere…the Soulless Army. It was extremely clever, she accepted that. But… but… ‘I wish for nothing…and I wish for everything.’ Her lips curled downward at the thought, her own mind working quickly, trying to decipher some kind of meaning to those words. He didn’t care about anything else…he only cared about his own clan’s prosperity. She could have said it was selfish, but…who didn’t want protection over ones family? And still…the blond senior couldn’t really agree with the actions taken…couldn’t justify what he was doing…couldn’t understand…
The ritual was beginning, and she knew that this Soulless Army would be a very dangerous threat. Gods fighting against Gods…soldiers following a man’s orders blindly…slaughter…more fights…War. What is peace without a blessed fight…huh? She didn’t believe that, though. But… eyes turned to the now crimson river, and then back to the man standing in front of her, his chocolate gaze on her…giving her a chance to speak up whatever was in her mind. “Don’t…don’t do it.” A useless request. “Having such army under your command…there will be many fighting against you,” Her own friends might try standing against the Earthen gods, “Something could-“ Go wrong? Happen to him? What did she really want to say? Why would she care? To get into gods territory was such a dangerous ground to stand in and well…she didn’t want anybody hurt…not even...him.

*~::Motonari Mori, 1st Warlord of the Mori Shogunate::~* "There's a scheme brewing in the Land of the Rising Sun..."'Don't do it.'
Those words passed by his ears and for a moment the pulsating energy siphoning from the Dragon Vein into the warlord of the Mori Clan seemed to freeze...the slightest glance over his shoulder cast at the blond and her hopeless plea, begging him for the sake of her friends and perhaps his own not to go through with the machination that he had designed. She was...worried about him? Even if it was only the slightest, it was a feeling that had become unfamiliar to him, having somebody about whom he had any interest feeling any sense of sympathy or empathy for him. He had known that his choice in her was not misplaced; only that voice and that innocent moment of hesitation, of concern that slipped past her lips and hinted at her bleeding heart even for a man who must seem like a monster to her, could have reached him. It was barely a fingertip scratching at the surface of his impenetrable conscience...but he was aware of it, and that was interesting enough in and of itself. It was unusual enough...but as his brown eyes looked over his shoulder ever-so-slightly, and his solemn expression seemed to soften for just a moment, an almost handsome sort of awareness appearing in those eyes of his, he also knew that he couldn't and would never give in to her request. Not when he was so close to securing the peace that he desired...not when he was so close to the prosperity that he had always dreamed his homeland could achieve. He wanted to end this pointless warring and take his rightful place as the one true sovereign of Aki and the lands of Chugoku, to leave the country in hands that he knew were competent enough not to send it spiraling back into another chaotic and primitive time of war. He wanted the peace of mind for his clan and followers to step out of the ages of conflict and simply prosper with the one clan, in the one place that resided within his cold heart. It was for that reason that he had come so far, and for that reason that there was no one else in the world he could entrust, no plan that he could place his faith in, other than his own. His eyes closed, his lips set. He knew that this girl before him did not love him, that she still had her eyes on that wild gamer with his ridiculous accent and sub-par intelligence, but there was no one else...only she had ever caught his eye and stirred anything within him since the day that he had opened his eyes once more. And that man knew now the lengths to which he had gone, knew how inevitable failure in fighting against him would be, he knew that there was only one person worthy of the emerald gems in her eyes and the blond crown upon her head...he simply had to wait for her to understand. When peace finally reigned...then, perhaps, she would see the true wisdom of what he was doing, and the courage and certainty it took to see this plan through.
"I am well aware that conflict is inevitable; heroes who think themselves and their individual agendas heroic or just will come seeking my head as a trophy for the 'liberation' of their country. However, the ugly truth behind their actions are that men like the One-Eyed Dragon, the Dark King, and even Balmung of the Azure Sky demand a continuance of war through which they can assert themselves and prove their worth as men. ...Tell me, do you truly think that Masamune Date could be content in a world where he could not wield his swords? ...The Dark King himself seeks to further the ambitions of a deceased tyrant whose only ambition was the spread of his warlike reign to every corner Asia and the known world. Balmung of the Azure Sky would not lay down arms until every last threat to this country was wiped from the lands...which is more extreme even than my own plans," his eyes flashed with the crimson light of the Dragon Vein flowing once more from the pool into his body, and the howls of gods and the screaming of souls began to erupt, sealed deities raising gnarled limbs out of the Vein to grasp at the dry land, pulling themselves up to greet their brother in Sukuna-Hikona...and as the armored bodies of soulless soldiers began to rise in the city above, it was in this crowning moment of his achievement that the Shogun Motonari Mori's attention remained not on the moment of his triumph (because it was inevitable? Because he was not certain if this was the end, or because...?) but on that girl, the one who had worried for him. His voice spoke and there was a sense of resignation, of finality to it, as if reaching the end of a path that you had walked out of necessity instead of choice. "You see, Minori...this land has remained locked in an unending cycle of war and betrayal, of domination and rebellion, of law and chaos fighting for control since the days long before even my first life. If I do not act now, Japan will inevitably tear itself to pieces, and all of the supernatural chaos will spill out into the world at large. Demons may reign, and the Conception of a new world may come to pass; all that I hold dear will be lost, my dream of a peaceful world and stability for my clan will be lost not just in this age, but forever. ...For this reason alone, I was compelled to take action to ensure in this lifetime, I do not make the same mistakes of my last. I entrust my task to no one, for I believe there is no one more capable than I to complete it. My plan, I have kept as my most precious secret...and you, I have invited to see its completion because you are my most precious person. ...This is as much for you as it is for myself, but also for the Mori Clan and those with the wisdom to accept the dawn of the new age. Those who are wise enough shall be left to exist peacefully...those who struggle, will inevitably fall. ...After all, it is unseemly for the defeated to struggle against the victorious well after the outcome is decided. And it breeds only that continual chaos that I intend to cleanse. Minori...I have a message I would like you to deliver to those you hold precious to you as well. You will deliver it when this is over...and I hope you will take this promise as a declaration of my dedication to you as my future wife.'
'Tell Seta and the rest of your friends, that I will take no direction action against them. I will not hunt them, nor will I impede their mission within the Tower of Vanity. They may continue to live their lives as they have always done, and I will entrust the task of that tower to them for so long as they do not prove incapable of it. ...In return, I will ask only that when the Heralds of my reign and the Kunitsukami pass through their lives, they will stand down. There is no need for them to be involved in any further altercations against the Mori, and I would prefer it if they were live...that is all."
It was with that final thought, that promise to the blond that his eyes turned back to the Dragon Vein just as an overwhelming burst of crimson energy lurched from the well of power and slammed into the Hero of the Sun, his jaw thrown open and his eyes wide as it swirled and filled him, embracing him with the immense strength that it had to offer! All about him these Earthen Deities, the Kunitsukami, were now lumbering and rejoicing their release from captivity, and high above in the streets of Tokyo there were armored soldiers moving to every corner of the city to monitor the entrances and exits, to the Shogun's Estate to guard their master, and to the Emperor's Estate to guard the man, the figurehead to the true leader in the shadows that would lead the country into this new age. His feet lifted from the ground as the power filled him completely, and it was only after a long several moments that he was released, landing upon the ground with all-white eyes and a ghostly-look upon his features that lasted even as he turned around to face those who had been welcomed to join him on this grand occasion...white eyes returning to a shimmering, chocolate brown color as his calm expression seemed to break with an almost uncharacteristic, nigh-imperceptible smirk.
"It is done," he announced as crimson power became green in a ball at the center of one of his palms, "the Soulless God exists...and the absolute power of the Mori Shogunate has been secured."Quote: The Soulless Army arises! Entry to and from Tokyo will be monitored henceforth, and unauthorized entry may be met by extreme force!
The Kunitsukami are free! Scattering to different corners of the country, they will seek to reestablish their reign as the true gods of Japan!
The Soulless God awakens! Its power awakened by Motonari Mori, a new age dawns upon Japan! Those who oppose will be punished, and those who accept shall be spared.
Cid Raines is to become the new Emperor of Japan...and Motonari Mori and his Clan, the Established Shogunate for as long as they should choose to reign!
