It had been another long, hard day without talking to Rikki. Considering she only sat a few seats from him in Human Studies, it was hard not to stare at his black hair and broad back. She couldn't say anything though. That would be weird.
So she had stalked off to her room like always. Lately she had immersed herself in Left 4 Live a little more avidly. It was hard to focus on much when she was afraid to go outside to visit Roch. She couldn't risk the awkward chance that she might see Rikki on the way. That just couldn't be risked.
Quietly she switched on the hexbox and waited for her buddylist to load. Oh, hey! SmoknMich was on. She put her headset on and clicked the ghoul's name.
"Hello?" she said into the mic.

There wasn't a lot to do being so new to the school. Michi lounged in her room, with her hexbox on and a headset plastered to her ears. It was always a little difficult to work the controller with those long, acid blue nails but the smoke demon always somehow managed. She was grinning, playing Left 4 Live when somebody poked her online. It was her best online buddy, dannylikesfire.
"Hey Danny!! Joining in?"
She loved to play with the other ghoul. Perked the smoke demon right up to know she could finally play with a friend instead of the random people online. They never played right anyways.
"I'm really getting sick of these stupid boils online. They never shoot correctly, and expect me to think they're rad."

Danny leaned back on her pillow, careful to fold up her wings before doing so. Nothing like a relaxing came of Left 4 Live after a hard day of class. Not to mention a hard day of boilfriend ... ex-boilfriend avoiding.
"Yeah of course," she said slyly. She watched quietly as the game started up, leaving her on the loading screen. "What's up with you?" she asked innocently.
Come to think of it, she hadn't played with the ghoul for a few days now. She'd just sort of abruptly disappeared. Wonder where she went ...

Ah yes, Michi knew this question was going to come up. But how to play it off as if her mother hadn't really sent her here? The red skinned ghoul thought for a few moments before answering carefully between keeping herself 'alive' on the screen.
"Well, I was getting really bored at home. Nothing to do, and I had already dated half the boils and ghouls around. I needed some change of scenery. So I'm here at Amityville. Took a couple days to pack up and move everything here though."
Oh so causal. To be honest Michi couldn't honestly remember if dannylikesfire went to school here or had gone to school here. The ghoul was terrible at remember little details like that about other people.

Danny nodded her head as if SmoknMich could actually see her. The reason made sense to her. She didn't know that SmoknMich dated a lot of people ... it sort of stabbed her self esteem, but Danny never minded that much anyways.
Wait whut.
"Hahaha that's so weird. I go to a school called Amityville too!" she said jovially. Had Danny made the connection?
No of course not.

"Waitaminute. You go to Amityville too? Dude, there's only one school with that name..."
Oh boil, this was an interesting situation. Her online friend, whom she had never met in person before, was here at school with her. This was the awkward moment where Michi realized her online life was going to mix into her real life. How to react? How to handle it?
Oh jack it all. This was Michi, she knew exactly how to react to this.
"So you're like, here right now in one of the dorms? We've gotta hang out sometime, or you should show me to the parties or something. At least it won't be boring!"

Danny had already thrown her headset off and darted out the door, scanning every nameplate she could find. Could she just burn down the dorm and eventually she'd find the ghoul? Wait how would this even work. She knew nothing of what the ghoul looked like.
Time for option two.
"SMOKIN' MICH ARE YOU HEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE." Yelling. Always the better option.
It was a good thing Danny wasn't shy about this sort of thing. She wasn't thinking "will she like me" or "what will she be like." All she was thinking was "FIND THE GHOUL FIND THE GHOUL."

And then all of a sudden the sounds from the headset were dannylikesfire's mic clearly being dropped onto cushions or something. Michi didn't have long to wait until she could hear someone yelling out her username in the confines of the demon dorms. She couldn't help but laugh out loud at her online friend, and pull her own headset off. Well, this was going to be interesting. And Michi always loved it when things became interesting!
She jumped to her feet, and quickly walked to her dorm door. She flung it open and called out in an equally cheerful clear voice so her friend could find her.
"OVER HERE DANNY!!!"
There was a huge grin on her red face, those fangs meeting with the rest of her sharp, sharp teeth. Oh this was interesting indeed!

With the very limited knowledge Danny knew, she was at least glad that she knew the ghoul was a demon. After all, even small knowledge like that was passed over the microphone after a while.
Danny swiveled around to find a demonness head sticking out of a door. The fire demonness sprinted towards her online companion full speed ahead, which ended with her skidding in front of the door.
"HiI'mDannyyou'reMichright'causeyousaidandythings" Was Danny's excitement showing?

It was a little odd to finally put a face with the voice she had heard for so long. Her bright blue eyes were level with the orange ones before her. Coming from her own family with red skinned beings, it was always odd looking at a demon with different colored skin.
But the one thing that stood out the most was the other ghoul's boobs. Like seriously, how did she have such big boobs? Michi was instantly jealous of those tatas, and loving them all at the same time.
"Yeah, call me Michi! Hi Danny! Wanna come in?"
She moved backward a bit so the other ghoul could step inside her cozy little abode. It was furnished in deep reds, browns, and incense that was going everywhere. She liked to have her room smelling nice at all times. There was a plush red couch before the hexbox set up.
"It's nice to finally put a face to the voice! I'm really glad I came here now!"

Danny nodded and smiled as the ghoul talked about how great it was to finally meet. She wasted no time walking into the ghoul's dorm. Something about all the smoke that filled the room made her feel extremely at home. All of the bad feelings she had were starting to alleviate, however temporal it was.
"Miiiiichi," she said to herself mostly, looking around the room. It was red and warm like the ghoul's skin, but had little touches everywhere that Danny liked quite a bit. She wasn't quite sure how fireproof the room was, so she just stood awkwardly waiting for a good prompt.
This was really nice. This was probably the only time she'd felt most at home the entire time she'd come to Amityville. It was so warm and comforting. That's it, she was never leaving. "When'd you come to Amity?" she said, her fingers tracing over the blanket on the bed.

Michi quickly closed the door so that the smoke that filled the room wouldn't escape into the hallway, and promptly walked back to the couch. She didn't mind Danny poking around her room, and things were pretty fire proof considering where there was smoke, there was typically fire. Any of the incense tipping over would just end horribly in a room that wasn't fireproof.
"I just showed up yesterday actually. Long, horrible process of getting everything where it needed to go, ending in perfection."
Michi's long nails clicked slightly on the second hexbox controller that the smoke demon lifted up towards Danny. The game was still running on the screen, and it was big enough for two people to play without them having to squint. It wasn't too large though. After all her mother couldn't stand going too far overboard to spoil her only child. It wouldn't teach Michi lessons.
"How long have you been here for? I seem to recall you saying you've been here for a bit, or am I remembering incorrectly?"

Michi always talked in sentences that were easy to understand, but still managed to sound fancy. Danny always appreciated that about her. It wasn't like she had to put on a decoder ring to figure out what the Jack the ghoul was saying. Always a plus.
Seeing Michi wasn't looking worried about her bed at all (Danny was far too used to the looks she got), Danny sat down on the squishy comforter. Looking back up at her friend, she realized just how different the ghoul was. She'd pictured the ghoul with long hair for one, and definitely not with blue nails like that. Danny still couldn't quite figure the species out though.
"Ummm. A while," Danny started counting on her fingers, "Ummm. Like a year? I don't know." She really didn't. All she knew was that she was a knob and that was apparently a big deal.
Danny smiled and shifted on the bed awkwardly. She wasn't really sure what she was supposed to do now. "So uhh ... d'you like Amityville?"

The offer for gaming went ignored, but that was fine. Michi wanted to know more about this place. Really she wanted to know more about those wandering around in this place than about Amity really. Where were all the hot boils? How could Michi meet them? Which one would be the best to upset her mother with? Oh, so many questions that you typically didn't really ask.
"I like it so far to be honest. I haven't had the chance to peer around correctly, but it looks like fun." She waggled her eyebrows for a moment and grinned again, sharp teeth flashing as she relaxed on the couch. "So tell me Danny, where does a ghoul go to meet all the hot boils around here?"
Alright, Michi wasn't good at holding back either. Ghoul had priorities in check. She wanted to know where the hot boils were, so she could get to work on finding some to flirt with. Maybe even find a date or two to talk about with her mother that would just steam her up. Ah, that'd be perfect.

Danny tilted her head. "Hot ... boils?" Well to be honest, Danny hadn't really met any hot boils. There was Jericho- he was hot right? Well ... no, he just sort of blew fire. There wasn't any real ... heat in his person. "Well there's Jericho ..." she said half-heartedly.
"Ummmm ... there's also Taryn. She breathes fire and stuff." Hmmm, who else. "Ooh and me! I'm a fire demon. I do the fire thing," she said. Even as she spoke, a tiny flame appeared in her right hand.
Clearly she didn't understand Michi's line of thought at all.
