Matt Striker and Jed shown backstage standing in front of a huge television. Jed had some crutches he was using to walk. Jed smiled as the crowd booed him and Striker. Jed also had a small neck brace on.
"Matt: Thank you Jed for showing up tonight, I just have a quick question for you. Tonight you are suppose to wrestle a man that you've tried to help out the time he's been here, and even other company's. I'm talking about tonight you have a one on one match with a Rosario. " The crowd booed when Matt mentioned his name. Jed fixed his crutches and moved his left leg for a second as he was in pain. Jed had a big black brace on his leg as he looked at Matt and then the camera. Jed then looked down at the ground. "Question is how are you going to wrestle him tonight? Seeing your past with Rosario and that fact of what at the Royal Rumble..."
"Jed: Well Matt. I haven't been cleared to wrestle tonight because of the way I landed on the outside of the ring when I got eliminated in the Royal Rumble match. I'm just another example of what that match could do to someone.." The crowd booed." But.. I plan to to hurt Rosario. Not many people know these but in other company across the world I tagged with Rosario. In fact I remember our first tag match together. It was in a company named GWF. I stood backstage looking for a tag team partner. There many people I could have picked. Names like Majin Inferno, Joker, and even my former tag team partner Jacob Figgin aka Figgy... " Jed paused as the crowd gave a mild reaction to this names. The people popped, but the boos for Jed were louder. Jed moved his crutches for a second.
"Jed: I choose a Rookie over guys I know I could of stole the show with. You know why Matt? "Matt looked at Jed and replied " No." Well Matt, I chose Rosario because unlike most veterans. I care about the future of the wrestling business. I know for the past few months I've been berating a man name Dion. The thing is people.. I said and did those things for Dion to step up his game. I wanted to face the best of the next class of wrestlers. Dion, is the best. " The crowd cheered after Jed just ate a small peace of that humble pie. " It's true people. I've said it before I think he will be a champion in no time soon. " Jed took a step back with the crutches. " Same with Rosario. " The crowd booed.
Jed: I feel he could be the next intercontinental champion if he focused a little more. I know for a fact that he is ready. But tonight, even though I'm injured. I'm going to go out there tonight and push him to the Limit. " Jed paused. " I know you people don't really like me that much after the past few months, but I hope you people will forgive me and I'm sorry that I had to go to a dark place to try to help out the new guys in this business. In this business it's best to see the possible evils now before later. " Jed paused for a second and looked at Matt as Jed was physically shown that he was in pain. " Either way tonight I plan to go out there and give the crowd what they paid for and that is a main event style match. A match that will steal the show. A match that --"
