Once upon a time Polaris had met a unique senshi. It was true, most senshi were different in their own ways. They had different motivations and reasons they fought. There were so many different styles of fighting, and so many seperate moral guidelines. But among them all Polaris had still yet to meet one quite like Asclepius. A senshi who both in powered form and her regular life worked towards healing, both learning and creating. People had talked about purification before, but she had mentioned an actual cure, like a medicine they might be able to develop and give people.
It had only been a few months since they'd met, less than half a year. But in a place like Destiny City time sometimes stretched far longer then it seemed. So much had happened since the night she'd met the senshi of medicine.. and she could only hope that she was remembered despite their very brief meeting.
Waiting on the rooftop of the "Little Piece of Heaven" bakery, Polaris starred down at her cellphone and the message she'd sent the night before.Quote: Hey there. I know it's been awhile, but I think I might have found out something that might interest you. It's about youma. Would the other girl show? Polaris wasn't entirely certain. But if anyone could make use of or help her dechiper the little bit of information she'd gotten recently, Asclepius was her best hope.

Ironically, with all the youma attacks going on, it was a large car accident that had made Marcella's evening interesting while on her shift at the hospital. Numerous admissions all at once had put a pile of stress on all of the people staffing the ER, and she subsequently ended up having to stay late. There was enough on her plate that she had nearly forgot about the message Polaris had sent her; when she finally got home, Marcella put a palm to her face and immediately henshined up in spite of how tired she was to send a quick text response:Quote: worked late. still coming. sorry The last thing she wanted to do tonight was fight a youma, but she also did not want to stand up Sailor Polaris if she knew something important. In Asclepius' mind, she was basically working two jobs, and she was now late for her second.
The Senshi of Medicine made her way through Destiny City to the meeting spot at an average pace, not wanting to allow herself to dawdle further just because she was tired, but she also did not want to expend her remaining energy hurrying.
Finally, she felt a senshi up ahead, and moments later, her heels touched down on the rooftop perhaps a dozen yards from Polaris. Breathing heavily, she put a hand to her forehead to smooth her hair back out of her face and rest her eyes for a moment.
"What is it?" she said as she stepped closer, then held up a hand, palm up. "Sorry. Really rough evening."

It wasn't exactly polite to be late to things. In her younger years Polaris never would have been tardy to anything, arriving sometimes far too early just to make certain that she arrived on time. However.. life as a senshi had taught her a few things about time managment and the unexpected. No matter how you planned things could always come up. Often did come up. So when she got the message about the delay, she simply settled in more comfortably, watching the streets for any signs of life as she waited.
When the senshi of medicine finally appeared, Polaris couldn't hide a momentary look of surprise at how curt her words were. But the looked faded away pretty quickly with the apology, being replaced by a look of mild concern. "I'm sorry, had I known we could have rescheduled."
"I'll try to keep it short so you can get home sooner." She added lightly, though part of her worried that as soon as the words flowed Asclepius' desire for sleep or relaxing might fade. It was urgent information yes.. but was it worth stressing out an already stressed senshi?
"I have some direct information from a negaverse captain about youma and where they may come from. I don't really have any reason to think he was lying, and it fits in with some other things I've heard in the past."
