In you opinion does prayer work?
And if so what percentage like 10% 75% 99% 100%?

depends on the prayer... The ones I normally make go out to my friends and family, not to myself. So you would have to ask them if they are working or not. The only one I seen come to fulfillment, revolved around my mom. When I asked God, to heal her wounds or to take her peacefully from this world. She breathed her last breath as she slept. She felt no pain at the end.

To put a percentage is more like asking, can one prove God exists just by asking for something? If he doesn't answer it the way you want, then no he doesn't exist?

Actually I have no intention to debate that here, just wondering what you think about it.

Forgive me, I kind of jumped to a conclusion. I can tell you, most of the people I know of and pray for are doing well. So If that betters answers your question.

Depends on what you mean by "work". If you mean work as in "wish machine", then the percentage is very very low.

If you mean work as in taking time out to commune with God and expressing concern and empathy for others, then I've had positive results so far.

Prayer isn't a tool used to achieve a physical, attainable, human goal. God doesn't care if Tebow scores a touch down, or if you want him to stop hunger in Africa. Prayer is for getting to know and understand God and his plan for you.

So, it depends. Does Prayer make things happen? No. It does not. That's like saying that cracking a Wishbone works. It doesn't.

Does it work? Get you closer to God? Of course, that's the whole point.

Why do you type it as "Jezus"? The correct spelling is "Jesus". Well, in English anyway.

Anyway, Prayer can't be given some percentage... like the grains of sand around the world, like the stars in the sky... the number of prayers that have worked and not worked... can not be counted, shouldn't be. We should acknowledge God right away, if a prayer is answered, we shouldn't claim we did it, if we KNOW that God helped us in anyway.
