 She looked back over her shoulder giggling and laughing as she left the front door of her mothers' house. Her sisters and all snuggled up with both her mothers for their nap time which left her alone for the moment. It hadn't taken much pleading before her mother Crystalina had agreed to let her go out and play, but here she was now. Looking ahead of her, she ran towards the park that was just down the street from her house. She loved the park. So many things to play on in the playground section. The slide and swings being her favorite things.
As she neared the park, she looked around to see it rather busy. Apparently she wasn't the only one who'd had the idea to get to the park by the looks of the gathering. Still the majority of the occupants were adults. A handful of kits were playing, but none of them seemed to be playing at the swings for now. This was her chance! The swings were free and that's where she headed. She had her eye on the slightly higher swing, now she just hoped to get there before some one else got there.

With a huff, sigh, and grunt, the male managed to escape not only Kain, the annoying kit that had become his friend, but also his mother, who normally he was fond of but today..... He was annoyed with her forcing a play-date.
So, when he quickly escaped that damned house and headed for the park. Why? He hated socializing, but it'd be the least likely place for his mother or Kain to expect him. A perfect spot to hide. At the sight of a swing, rather high up, moving towards it quickly. There he could view everyone safely on a moving death object, no one would touch him if he had the ability to knock them over with a swing.

Emily caught movement near as she neared the swings and her eyes darted over to see who it was. All the while her little feet scrambled faster to make it there before the good swings were taken. She was small even for a kit, but she didn't care what her size was she was determined to get to the swing. Pushing herself faster, her little wings flailed about as though they would help her move faster. Almost.... she thought to herself as she neared the swing. Leaping, her wings fluttered even harder taking her lopsidedly to the swing. Sucess! She made it to the swing before her wings finally gave out, high centering herself on the swing's seat. She lay there just like that a moment, puffing and huffing to catch her breath some before righting herself on it and beginning to swing back and forth quietly.

When he had reached the swing it was stolen from him by a female kit, his eyes narrowing drastically. With both an annoyed sigh and frustrated claw at the ground, Apollo locked his eyes on the girl, tail lashing back and forth.
"Hey. You." He called, not usually one to speak first to a person. "You stole my swing." Yes, that ought to work. She'd obviously get off now, da?

Blinking at the voice, she looked only to find an irritated looking kit. With a small frown, she hunkered into the seat some as though she were attempting to make herself melt into the flexible plastic like substance. "I-I'm t-terribly s-sorry, b-but there w-wasn't anyone u-using it when i g-got here.... S-so.. the S-swing w-was fair game." Nodding to herself, she thought a moment. Why must she hunker down? Why shouldn't she just tell the boy off and have fun? After all.. he had the same chance at the swing as she had. But if I'm rude then he might cry... and then it's be my fault. She thought to herself the feeling of guilt turning in her stomach. She didn't care much for confrontation. Even at the orphanage she would give up her toys even though she knew the other kids had no intentions of giving them back to her. Heaving a small sigh, she slunk off the swing and moved over to the smaller one. "Y-you can have it.."

Ugh.
He felt bad.
Very bad.
Sighing, he moved away, shaking his head. "No... no." Ugh, why was he nice? Hmpf. "I'll get the smaller one." He mused, rolling his eyes. He really hated that at times he could be kind. He blamed Pandora. Though... if his mother did it then it must be right!

Emily shook her head slowly.. "It's ok.. r-really it is.. the l-low s-swing is just as fine as the h-higher up one. I..I don't mind really..." Pink eyes peered at him a moment. "I-I'm Em-Emily..." Her voice was soft.. meek unsure of herself as she spoke.
