Mana gave a brief yawn, licking her paws and shifting, her armor clinking a bit as she first crossed, then uncrossed the appendages. Gaze set behind her at the tree she had been sitting under, what time was it anyways? Not that it made much of a difference actually... just an idle thought. She stood up, stretching first her body, paws moving forwards and tail in the air, then the reverse. Then she stretched her wings, large pink feathers spanning easily 10 feet across as she flexed. Now.... what to do? The she-wolf sighed a bit as she padded off, following the road towards the woods.

Evergreen pranced happily through the trees at the edge of the woods. His lights bouncing about with each step. From a distance he would likely look like a bunch of little lights bouncing about in the trees. He had no particular destination in mind, nor was he bored. Evergreen just had such a bright, easy going personality that nothing really seemed to get to him. Even the fact that he had no clue where he was right now. He just continued prancing along without a care in the world, not noticing the approaching feathered wold.

What- what in the world was that? The dark wolf's eyes narrowed on the sight of lights moving about and she growled a bit at the unknown phenomenon, fur bristling on the back of her neck as she hunkered into a crouch, feathered wings folded tightly against her as she prowled. Only to tilt her head in first confusion and then disdain at the sight that greeted her, it was that bouncing, bumbling, Kitsune that was all adorned with lights....
Great... her ears perked a bit though as she realized he hadn't seen her approaching, though she was directly in his prancing path and she sighed a bit, creeping slowly out of the way in an attempt not to be seen by the cheerful green Kitsune. Mana didn't want to interact with the creature, the brief interaction in the field ((thread RP xD )) had been more than enough. She couldn't even think of how this meeting could possibly be useful, he wouldn't fit into any kind of role other than bait in her mind, and she had no traps that needed baiting... at the moment.... perhaps later then? With that thought she sighed and stood up, ruffling her feathers and spreading her wings out as if stretching, making herself known.

Evergreen continued his cheerful walk, totally oblivious to black wolf that was right in his path. He would have bounced right past her none the wiser had she not stretched out her vibrant wings. The sudden appearance of another so close to him didn't seem to bother the kinsune in the slightest. In fact his light strung tails waved happily in greeting as he turned his cheerful red eyes towards the wolf. "Hi!" He greeted, taking a few steps to close the gap between them. Looking so bright and un-phased by wolves appearing out of nowhere it was disturbing.

Mana blinked, hiding the look of disdain that wanted to appear on her face and clearing her throat before giving the Kitsune a charming, if not sheepish, smile and settling her wings with a slight ruffle of feathers. Goodness.... "Hello there." she replied cheerfully as well, as if this were a pleasant meeting of chance, she took a few steps back to distance herself from the glowing male, tilting her head to the side and observing him as if she hadn't already. "My you're quiet the bright one."

Evergreen beamed as she returned his greeting with a cheerful note in her voice. He was often told that he was a bright one and he almost always took it both ways. His expression grew brighter, if that was possible. "Thank you." He replied bubbly, closing the distance she put between them. "Your're nice." He said, his eyes wandering from her face to her wings, to her legs, to her necklace then back to her face. His tails still waving, sprinkling the ground with multicolored light. "Pretty stone." He commented happily, referring to her necklace.

Did this creature have no idea what personal space was?! She took another step back, still wearing her cheerful smile though she let her expression show a bit of discomfort too, hoping the Kitsune would be smart enough to pick up on that and stop invading her personal space before she walloped him about his fool head. She tilted her head again as he observed her and pulled her wings tighter to herself, shifting to let her hair hide her necklace when he commented on it. She'd had the thing since she was young, couldn't even really remember where, or when, she'd gotten it to be honest.
"Thank you, your lights are quiet fetching as well." she complimented him, letting her tone sound cheeful as well though nothing like the Kitsune's... She cleared her throat a bit and gave a small embarrassed chuckle. "Well I'm quiet the rude one it seems, not introducing myself. I am Mana." she dipped her head in a sort of nonchalant bow.

Evergreen didn't close the distance she put between them this time. Though he was pretty oblivious he did have a bit of self control when he saw signs of discomfort. He lived to to make others happy, so he was actually quite good at reading emotions. On the other hand he is easily deceived by false expressions. He sat his green self in the grass, his tails waving a bit more slowly now. "Thank you." He said modestly, not commenting on the way she had covered her necklace. He smiled at her as she chuckled before introducing herself. "Evergreen." He introduced in response. Bowing his head deeply, only to have the star fall from his nose. He expertly caught it in his mouth before the slim golden star hit the ground. He looked up at Mana, embarrassed, that he had forgotten his star and had let ti fall from his nose.

Well.... she could certainly see the resemblance. Looked like something those two legs did to the pines when the snow fell. Damn fools the lot of them. She gave another tilt of her head, and raised an eyebrow when the Kitsune caught the star before it fell, displaying some reflexes she would have never guessed the male to have. Come to think of it he probably had some good balance as well, holding that thing atop his nose as he did and though he was still on her "useless list", Evergreen had moved up a few spaces upon the revelation of this information. "Pleasure to meet you." she smiled again and eyed the star that now resided in his mouth. "That is a very beautiful star you have there. How do you manage to balance such a thing the way you do?" she asked, seeming to be quiet impressed with the Kitsune.

The corners of his star filled mouth turned up in a happy smile as Mana spoke. He wasn't used to hearing impressed tones when it cam to him and his abilities. Most never took the chance to see the him that hid beneath the multicolored lights and obliviously happy mood he always seemed to be in. He was quite excited to have someone be interested, even remotely. To reply he had to remove his star from his mouth and what better way to do that then to return it to it's rightful place atop his nose. Sitting up straight he tossed the star into the air. It's metallic gold surface reflected light as it twirled back down towards Evergreen. Undaunted by the obvious danger the twirling star could likely become his eyes watched the star closely. Suddenly he rose up on his back legs, catching the star perfectly atop his nose. He held the oddly majestic pose for a moment, making sure he had the star balanced just right before he lowered his brown paws back to the earth. He gave Mana a bright smile and finally responded. "Thanks, Mana. I've had it since I was a cub. I've practiced for years to be able to keep it were it belongs." His voice was proud, but not in a way that felt like he was full of himself. He sounded a bit more intelligent when he spoke a sentence containing more than two words.

The dark wolf's gaze narrowed as Evergreen tossed the star into the air, moving her head up to follow it's dangerous decent as well and allowed a surprised and actually impressed look to flit across her face as he balanced the star whilst standing on his hind legs. Hmmm.... As he lowered himself to the ground and actually spoke Mana took a moment to re-evaluate her target. He was both faster and more agile than she had originally assumed, as well as the fact he may have more in his head than just air, though that was still to be determined and another smile found it's way onto her face. "That is quiet impressive Evergreen, I've never seen another who could manage it." she said, tone a bit reverent. She honestly was surprised and impressed though so this wasn't too much of an act this time around.

Evergreen's light strung tails again began to waves happily, dragging the glowing lights over the grass. His words made him feel all warm, fuzzy and happy inside. Though he hadn't even noticed the difference between her fake and not quite so fake impressed words. "Thanks." He said humbly, and slightly embarrassed. "I've just practiced a lot." His words sounded a bit dismissive, he wasn't full of himself and he did not want others to think that he was. Though he had spent many long hours over the years to get to the point where he could do what he can now. He gave her a warm smile, feeling happy that he had stumbled upon this nice wolf.

Mana nodded her head at his dismissing tone, marking himself as modest and she smiled a bit wider. "I can imagine..." she trailed off a bit, letting her gaze follow the many bouncing lights on the grass before looking back to the male. "Sooo, do you live around here?" she was curious and gathering information that she'd store away for later use, as well as just getting this Kitsune to trust her. Always helped if they liked you when you were trying to get them to do what you wanted them to...

At her question Evergreen blinked and for the first time he looked around and actually realized he didn't know where he was. He looked back at Mana and smiled weakly, an odd thing for the chipper male to do. "No, I don't live around here." He said truthfully, feeling embarrassed. His red eyes slid downward and he shifted his front paws as if nervous, his tails even stopped waving and lay motionless on the grass. He didn't really want to admit he hadn't the slightest clue where he was right now. He saw Mana a a nice wolf and though she could probably help him get un-lost. But still he didn't want to admit he was lost.

Mana had to tilt her head at the Kitsune's obvious change in demeanor, he looked almost embarrassed, crestfallen even. Was this male lost? Mana could've grinned and thanked her luck, she knew this area. Her den wasn't really all to far from these woods. "You aren't lost are you?" she asked the male, sounding concerned before perking up a bit as if a sudden idea had struck her "I know my way around here, I'm sure I could show you around or help you get back to an area you know better." she offered.
