Harumi is a sweetheart who is to willing to listen to what she is told and this will get her into trouble if someone was willing to use it against her, to control her. She once was hurt by someone she thought loved her. This has left a scar on her heart. It made her switch her personality to what it is now from someone who stood up for themselves and told others off if need be.
But Now she is so sweet and scared to push anyone away anymore that she can't help but to do whatever she can to make them happy. As long as those around her are happy. She believes doing this will heal her heart and maybe her old self can return.
Or that is her thoughts on how to heal her heart. So today she is out looking for someone to make happy. Maybe a new friend seeing she doesn't really have any nor does she belong to a herd. Walking about she sighs a bit trying to figure out where it is that she is at. After all this area isn't familiar to her at all.
Taking a deep breath in. While everything around her is still she hears something. A Song? Could it be? But from who and where? She lets her breath out slowly as she turns her head looking for the area the song could be coming from.
"Pretty." Was the only thought Harumi had. She has never heard a song before. Nor anyone singing for that matter but she did know what they were. Trotting off into the area that the song is the strongest. Listening to it closely closing her eyes thinking of how pretty it is. Not paying mind to where she is trotting to or into.

Aras sat in a clearing, singing loudly, but gently. The song told the story of love. A stallion and a mare falling in love at first sight, beating the odds and lasting throughout the ages. A little bell tied around his anklet jingled as he stomped his foot along to the beat of the song.
As the song finished, he stood to move on, having rested enough. As he turned to exit the clearing, he bumped into a mare, and shuffled back a little in shock. Bowing his head multiple times, he muttered sorry over and over. When he felt he'd apologized enough, he lifted his head and eyed the mare, a worried look upon his face.
"I'm terribly sorry. I did not see you there."

Opening her eyes once bumped into Harumi looks at the stallion before her. She bows her body fully. "No it was my fault truly. I was listening to such a beautiful song and so my eyes were closed. I wasn't watching where I was going." She feels bad for not noticing someone and then bumping into them. How could she. That was bad. What if she made him unhappy. The thought of that made her shiver a bit.
She straightens herself. "I am Harumi." She bows her head this time. Then looks at him again. "I am so sorry for bumping into you. It is all of my fault. Please forgive me. I wish to do nothing to harm another. Only to make others happy." She smiles with her voice sweet and soft. She has never thought that a song to take over her like it did. But she is happy that it did. It was so graceful and pure. The beauty in the words made her heart flutter.

Aras laughed. "Then it truly was my fault, as I was the one who was singing." He smiled at the girl before him. She was very sweet and kind; sincerely sorry for bumping into him, even though it was he who bumped into her.
"My name is Aras," he said in a cheery sing-song tone. "It's a pleasure to meet you. Again, I'm terribly sorry I bumped into you." He honestly felt terrible; it wasn't like him to get so distracted but he was having a glorious day. He'd bought a bell from a traveling salesman and it really made his songs much more enjoyable. He had also learned a new song; the one he was singing before he bumped into Harumi.

"Really then that wonderful singing and song was yours?" She wonders a bit as she smiles with joy. "Do you know anymore? I would love to listen to her sing more. It was so pretty that when it ended I felt a bit sad." She points out as she stretches out her wings for a moment and then brings then back to be folded against her sides.
"And you are not at fault. Things happen. No need to feel sorry at all." Her sweetness is something that can charm others even if she doesn't realize that it does. "The pleasure is mine. Really it is. Seeing I got to hear such a wonderful voice and song."
Harumi never tried singing herself but she has hummed a bit. She finds enjoyment in such things. So to be able to hear such a song lifted her wounded heart. She is hoping to meet so many new friends that she can forget about her past.

Aras smiled at her compliments. Such things used to make him blush; but he had heard them so much that he was used to it. This was not to say he was vain; he was very humble. He just wasn't young anymore. He had grown and was used to hearing such things.
Smiling at her, sincere as ever, Aras fluttered his wings. "I may sing for you again, should you wish. But for now I think conversation is nicer."

"Conversation is nice. It is a way to learn more about others and a way to understand so much. Teachings and so much more with conversations. Though I look into it so much more then what others would see in it. But all in all it is nice and that is all that matters." Harumi smiles. It was nice to chat with one who she knows isn't trying to control her. Though if he tried she wouldn't stop him as long as he remains happy.
Her eyes watching him. "So are you traveling to learn more songs and things?I wish I knew a song to teach you but sadly I know no songs right now. But if I come acrossed one. I will keep it in mind for if I meet you again." She bows to him and then straightens up.

Aras chuckled lightly as she rambled. How cute. She put a lot of thought into everything, didn't she? He hadn't met anyone like that before. A lot of soquili he'd met took things as they were given; a literal sense rather than finding more meaning to something. That wasn't to say Aras was the same as her. He too took things the way they seemed. It was simpler that way.
"Travelling to share music and learn new songs, yes," he smiled. "That's very nice of you." Shuffled, Aras plopped down onto the ground to sit. "I'm looking for more instruments, too." He shook his leg, making the bell tied to it jingle.

Instruments she thought about it. She saw something that could be one not to far from where they are now. Thinking about it more. "I think I might have one for you. So wait here please and I will get it for you. Shouldn't take me long." She does a pivot which is to turn around fully keeping one back hoof on the ground the whole time.
Trotting off as she looks for it. It was shiny and small there were words on the small spelling out tambourine but she had no clue what that was. Finding it as she gently picks it up in her mouth and then heads back to where Aras is.
She is at a full out run as she slide stops in front of him as she sets the tambourine down in from of him. "Is this an Instrument?" she wonders.

Aras tilted his head as the mare ran off, wondering what it was she found and if it was indeed an instrument. He waited patiently and when she returned and placed the object on the ground, he marveled. It was indeed an instrument. A tambourine. Leaning down, he nosed it gently, making the jingling sound as small symbols clapped together. His mother had a tambourine. He had had to sell it to buy medicine in attempts to save her and his father. Months after they died, he tried to find the soquili he sold it to but he had no luck.
This tambourine was similar, but it was new and hadn't been used very often. He picked it up in his mouth and tapped it against his front leg, the sound ringing in the air. A few more taps in a rhythm that simply came to him and he placed it back on the ground. Definitely new. Whoever had crafted it was quite skilled.
Aras eyed Harumi. "It is indeed, quite a nice one. Thank you for showing it to me." He nudged the tambourine back towards her. She had found it and so it was rightfully hers. "You should accompany me in a such one day; your tambourine would make a wonderful addition."

Looking at the tambourine. "I would love that. But I don't mind giving the Tambourine to you. I am all that good with instruments. So I fear I would only do shame to it." She leans her neck down as she gentle picks it up with her mouth as nods her head up and down making it jingle in a pretty way. This is new to her. She wasn't even sure if it was an instrument but happy it was.
Stopping as she bends her neck to the side so she can set the tambourine down on her back. She looks at him a bit. "It is more fun then I thought but like I said before. I wouldn't mind giving the tambourine to you if you wish to keep it. If not I will hold onto it until you want it." She bows to him then straightens up again.
"If I find any more instruments I will gladly hold on to them for you. I am normally easy to find in this area. I only travel away from it for a few days at a time. Seeing I have no where to go really."

Aras smiled happily. She really wanted him to have the tambourine and he felt bad for refusing. He wouldn't ask for it right this second; she seemed to be enjoying it for now. "You're quite kind for giving me something so lovely, Harumi. Thank you. If there's anything I can do in return, don't hesitate to ask."
He would make sure to come visit her again one day, to see if she'd found anything else. Shifting his weight between his legs, he whistled softly, unsure of what to say, which was unusual for him. He'd been praised by many, but he'd never had someone perform such a selfless act such as giving a gift without receiving one themselves.
Aras' wings fluttered softly and he stretched them. "Perhaps we could search together now to see what wonders we could find?"

Blushing a bit seeing this is the first time in a long time that a Stallion has called her name in sure a thankfulness way. So she couldn't help but blush. "Okay then is it okay with you can I ask if I can become your friend?" She wonders a bit with the tambourine on her back. Listening to him as she stands there wanting to make him happy.
She hears him say that they could search together now to see what wonders they could find. She smiles as she bows to him. "That would be wonderful. I love to travel and finding new things is always fun." Her heart fluttered. This was going to be a wonderful friendship she thought.
Though she never thought she would meet someone like him in her life so she is pleased. LOLTERNATIVE Tag *sorry so late was sick all of Feb*

Aras tilted his head. Why was the mare blushing? Was she nervous about something? He wondered what it was. How peculiar. Grinning, he nodded. "I consider you my friend already, Harumi. I would be honoured if you would consider me yours." Watching as she wanders around with the tamborine, he smiles. Perhaps he won't accept the gift after all. She seemed to be enjoying it more and more.
"Traveling is wonderful. I'm barely in the same place for long." This was true; Aras stayed in the same place for maybe three days maximum, singing and entertaining whoever owned the lands for a few days worth of food and shelter. Then he was off to the next, new songs and tales learned and a heart filled with the warmth of the smiles his music brought to others.
He eyed the surrounding; he'd come from the South, which his back was now facing and had not found anything. Harumi had come from the North and hadn't found anything; at least she hadn't said so. East or West.. He was sure West would bring them to the ocean and he wasn't quite ready for flying. East it was. "This way then!" He trotted off, following the line of trees that were the edge of the forest he'd come from.

"I do. I consider you as a friend and that makes me very happy." Harumi trots about as she listens to him. Looking about. She notices that they are heading east. Smiling as she continues to follow him. "Hmm so the east might have more Instruments for you. I wonder what they will look like?" she smiles at the thought. After all she will be learning about Instruments and new things while traveling with him. So that makes her happy.
Trotting as she keeps her eyes on the look out for anything that might be an Instrument of some kind. Something that makes sounds and music is what she is looking for. She keeps telling herself in her mind.
