 Karei is sweet and spacey but that is what makes him so fun. He isn't sure about a lot of things. But what he is sure of is that everyone needs a sweet kind friend and that is what he hopes to give to those he meets. But he believes that his mother is a big black Mare that has glowing wings, tail, and mane.
He doesn't understand why he isn't as tall and big as his mother. Nor why he has ear and butt wings but not wings on his back like his mother. Though his mother really isn't his mother and she isn't the same breed. She adopted him as a basket and he doesn't believe that when others tell him so. Or at least that is how he use to think on things about his mother.
But he knows now that he was adopted but nothing changes. She is still his mother. Though he wants to know more about the breed he is. To see more of them. Talk to more. He has heard others call him a Putti. But just what is that. He wasn't sure.
Setting out and about looking for anyone that looks like he does. With the bird ear and butt wings on them. He stops his traveling at a river to get a drink. Looking for something you don't know is not easy he thought.

 Laeh waddled along the river, splashing about in the water, laughing as she scared the fish. Today, while she wasn't on an adventure, was a pretty good day. She was having fun, playing in the water; despite the fact that there weren't any sea serpents or mermaids trying to capture her.
Ahead she spied a stallion and, curiously, she crept closer so she could get a better look at him. She gasped. He was one of her! A putti. Since coming to the lands she'd not met one of her brethren. This was exciting~ She trotted up to him and grinned.
"Hey there!"

Hearing a Mare's voice say hey there as he jumped a bit as his eyes focus on the Mare. "Wow you are pretty. Oh and you have ear and butt wings like I do." He points out. You can tell that he has never seen another one of his kind before. It shows in the way his body moved, The face expression he has, and in his voice. This was like a dream to him.
"I was told our breed is called Putti. Is that true?" He wonders a bit leaning his neck and head towards her. This was amazing and exciting to him. He hasn't got a clue what all he should ask. "I have never seem about with bird like ear and butt wings like mine before. I have a brother with Bat ear and butt wings. But that is because our mother adopted us both as baskets and she is not a mini breed like we are. So I am confused when it comes to those breeds in which I am a family member to."

Laeh watched the stallion curiously, blushing at his compliment. She was glad she was pink herself so he couldn't see. "Thank you and yes I do." Her wings fluttered a little in excitement. She knew others like her existed but she had not yet seen any; only a grumpy imp.
"Yeah. We're called putti. The ones with bat wings are imps. Then there's the scaley ones - they're quilins. The fairy ones are pixies. The deer ones are nymphs. The ones with horn and long tails are minicorns and the ones with fish tails are nyxies. Then there's the regular ones - they're just called usdias." She let out a breath. There sure was a lot of them.
"It was very nice of your mother to look after you like that. She must be a very kind mare. You're very lucky."

Listening to her tell him all of the different kinds of little ponies like him. He blinks a few times. "So there are lots of mini breeds. More then I thought." He nods a bit thinking about his mother. "Oh yes. My Mother is a very sweet Mare. But I am traveling so I can learn more about my kind. So what do you like to do? What kinds of things are there that you find fun? And how can one please you?"
He doesn't understand that his last question might be worded wrong. What he was trying to ask is what kind of things please her as in foods, games, and what not. But he hasn't talked to a lot of other SoQ and not a lot of Mares. Just his mother so wording thing is something he gets wrong a lot.

Laeh wiggled with excitement. He was new to being on his own. Perhaps she could show him the ropes. "I'm an adventurer. I fight dragons, pirates and sirens. Rescuse princesses and defeat witches. Break curses and find lost treasures." She giggled. She'd never really done any of those things; except the treasure part. Everything else was done in her mind. Her imagination was her greatest form of entertainment.
Often Laeh was picked on for this. Of course, those who picked on her just didn't understand and she never let them get to her. Why should she care as long as she's enjoying herself? Laeh's happiness mattered to her more than everyone else's.
"What about you?" Suddenly, she gasper. "Oh! My name is Laeh."

Hearing her words Karei smiles. "Wow you sound very busy. It is an honor to meet someone who has done such wonderful things." He knows that she most likely hasn't done all of those things in reality but he knows that she is brave enough to do them.
"I am Karei. Though it isn't a name most stallions would have. Seeing it means Beauty. But I would have to say your name fits you like a butterfly to a flower." He thinks about it more as to what he does in his free time but maybe he really doesn't do a lot.
"Oh I am what you can call a story teller I guess. In all of my travels so far I hear stories and share them as well as tell my own."

Laeh grinned. "I think your name fits you perfectly."
Her eyes widened as he told her he was a story teller. She trotted around excitedly, bouncing with happiness. "A story teller! That's wounderful, Karei! Will you tell me a story?" She stopped and eyed him, eyes sparkling. "Please, oh please!" She begged, smiling.
Laeh loved stories. She loved acting them out after hearing them. Fairy tales were her favourites, naturally, but she also enjoyed scary stories and funny stories.

"Well there is this one story I am working on. Maybe you can help me with it. It is missing something. But I am not sure what. So I will tell it to you and at the end you tell me what you. think."
He clears his throat as he gets ready to tell her the story. Starting off with the beginning.
"On a cold stormy night there was a princess who lost her prince. In order to bring him back to life. The princess would need to face not only dragons and death but also what fears are made of. Knowing all of this she embraced her fate and begun her travels for the Sacred Lily Of Life. This flower is a lily is glows of an icy blue color. It is said to be rare and hard to find.
There is a rumor that once you face the Dragon, Death, and your worse fears. Then you will find that lily tied to fluttercorns. They guard it's powers. If your reason is pure they will hand it over to you. If your reason is not pure. They will leave you with nothing." He takes a deep breath. Needing to very once in a while.

Laeh sat on the ground, staring up at Karei as he told his story. She was hooked instantly. A Princess as the hero? How wonderful. And as the story went on, Laeh's excitement began to grow and her imagination went wild and she felt sorry for the princess as if she were real.
"We have to help her!" She blurted out when he paused. Along with his pause, came the end of her imagination's spell and she blushed sheepishly. "Sorry. It's a lovely story. Please continue."

He smiles as it makes him happy when others enjoy his stories.
"The Princess knows that her reasons for wanting the Sacred Lily Of Life are pure. After all it wasn't her lover's time to die. A Feline Skinwalker took his life only because he crossed it's path. He did nothing to it and was only looking for a flower to please his princess.
That should be a pure enough reason. Not thinking about the Dragon, Death, and Fears as her mind is on the Fluttercorns that guard the Sacred Lily Of Life. They would have to listen to her. They would have to agree that she is pure and so is her reasoning to wanting the Lily. Thinking about it more and more as she travels the roads that are fore told in the legends of the Sacred Lily Of Life. Not paying mind to a lot that surrounded her until fire goes around her.
This causes her to stop and look up. What she saw was an angry looking dragon breathing fire as the flames surround her. Please let me pass. I will not bow or turn away. I have nothing left in life. So let me go by."
He needs another pause to take a breath.

Laeh listened to the story with more focus than she had ever shown in her life. She was enthralled, intrigued, trapped even, by this stallion's wonderful, adventurous, magical and marvelous story.
She frowned as he paused and wiggled excitedly in her place. "What happens next? Does the dragon eat her? Burn her? Does she slay it?!" The questions explode from her, voice high pitched with excitement. By this point, her wings are fluttering furiously on her head and her eyes sparkle with a fierce desire to hear the rest.
"Please go on!"

He smiles looking over at Laeh. Not wanting to give it all away as he starts the story again. "After telling the dragon that she will not bow or turn away. The Princess stands her ground. Her eyes watching the Dragon as it lands. She puffs out her chest being proud and trying to seem brave. The Dragon lowers it's head and starts to speak. You dare to come onto my land and then state that you aren't going to leave. Give me a reason that I shouldn't eat you right now.
The Princess thinks of the Dragon's words. You might not care. I am on a journey to save my lover. Whose life was made short for no reason at all. If I must die so that he can live. I will gladly give my life now to you. Her words are touching and would touch anyone. But this is a Dragon she is dealing with. He breathes more fire around her as he had heard her words and they didn't touch him at all."
