Hey! I hope this is ok to post here. I just want to briefly advertize my new wolf RP. I'm basing the wolves off of Viking culture, including Old Norse names for the pack. It's very subtly Pagan-based. I know there are several RPers here, so I just wanted to briefly give the ling. The Packs are based on the Four Elements (and Darkness). I thought that might be an interesting envelopment. :3

Keeping the Balance.
Since time immemorial, the Four Packs have roamed the Alfdis Forest.
To the North, the Steinn-ulfr, the Stone Wolves, the Wolves of Earth.
To the East, the Vindr-ulfr, the Wind Wolves, the Wolves of Air.
To the West, the Alsa-ulfr, the River Wolves, the Wolves of Water.
To the South, the Behrt-ulfr, the Bright Wolves, the Wolves of Fire.
Apart from minor skirmishes over the boundaries of their territories and periodic ritual battles, the Four Packs have always lived in harmony with one another, keeping the Balance of the Four Elements in the Alfdis Forest. Then from the lands beyond the mountains at the Southern border of the Alfdis Forest came the Myrk-Ulfr, the Wolves of Darkness. Jealous of the prosperity of the Wolves of Alfdis, they decided to leave their rocky homes and claim the Alfdis forest for themselves. Their Pack raged through the land, attempting to conquer each of the Four Packs. The Packs were unprepared for the swiftness or brutality of such an attack, and were driven North.
The Four Packs managed to regroup and halt the invaders at the middle of the forest. With four Packs now occupying the territory that two of them had previously lived in, game is scarce and tempers are frayed. Will the Four Packs drive the invaders from their lands, or will the Myrk-ulfr cast the Alfdis Forest into darkness? Only the Gods know.
War has been declared. Which side are you on?
