x x x x x█║ WHO: Elias & Tesla
x x x x x█║ WHEN: Early evening.
x x x x x█║ WHERE: Amies; Elias' house, following the events here.
x x x x x█║ WEATHER: Cold and overcast.

"A-ah--! Damnit--!" Limping a little, Tesla didn't break her stride as she ran to Elias' house, her eyes wide and bright, her skin unusually pale. Despite kicking her wagon on the way over - and knowing she'd have a heck of a bruise on her shin and foot by nightfall - her speed was born out of adrenaline and worry. If her bottle had nearly destroyed her house in what seemed to be a fit of jealousy and abandonment issues, what would the desert sand be capable of doing? That and -- and she really didn't want to be alone just then.

Approaching his patio, the red-head looked to the door, as if expecting it to simply open as she ran to it. "Elias!" she called out a little high-pitched, trying to contain the fear she still felt at what she had just beheld. "Elias, it's Tesla, are you home--?" She had no idea if he could actually hear her as far out as she was, but it hadn't stopped her from trying, booted feet finding the steps and jumping the weaker planks with ease. Tesla wore a full cloak today having gone into town, her arms hidden beneath the dark brown length that almost reached her ankles. Her fingers held onto the leather in a white-knuckled grip, forearms wrapped around the bottle that was nestled against her chest, hiding the bloody dragon within that was still moving, the strange sensation of it brushing against her exposed skin unsettling.

Now in front of the door, she lifted one hand and knocked soundly on the wooden frame. "Please be home, Elias!" she whispered to herself, head bowed as she readjusted the cloak to conceal the bottle and its bloody appendages again. She didn't want to frighten the poor man -- nor did she want anyone else to see what had become of her once harmless bottle.

It had only been once night ago since the huge fiasco that the bottle had caused, particles of sand still present in some corners and in some of his belongings. Needless to say the young man couldn't sleep after that, paranoid of it happening again while he slept, knowing that the house probably couldn't survive another situation like that again. Yet the bottle seemed calmer now, as if its gentle glow and radiating warmth wanted to assure Elias that it would behave.

For now at least.

The yellow glow filled the room with light even more than the humble fireplace that he had set up in the living room. The activities of the bottle had been so baffling to him and after its sudden and strong reactions when it touched the sand outside, the night when he practically drowned in the sand-- he would have thought nothing it can do would ever surprise him anymore. So this fine night the young man was now just sitting on the chair he had constructed, his bow and arrows laid out on a wide table, a dagger in his hand as he sharpened the metal tips. This activity was relaxing to the hunter, only hearing the gentle crackle of the fireplace and the relentless shifting of sand that he was already getting used to. It was a peaceful night.

But not for long. The banging on the door made him stand up immediately, the cries of his neighbor alerting him and fueling adrenaline in him, imagining it was a big emergency. He quickly kept the dagger and placed it on his side just in case, the screams of Tesla worrying him.

"I'm right here!" he quickly replied, eyes wide as he swiftly opened his front door and finding a breathless and pale Tesla, knitting his brows as he put one careful hand on her back and ushering her inside, unsure of what the danger was yet but wanting her safe inside his house just in case someone was out there. Once he got her safely in he surveyed the vicinity with one sweep of his grey eyes and closed the door, turning to the red-head.

"Are you alright? What happened?" he looked at her in honest concern, noting that she had something covered under her cloak and judging by the reaction of his own bottle that was suddenly enveloped by a coat of sand, whirling violently around the once peaceful bottle.

She heard his voice before he answered, relief in her features clear but quickly swallowed again by concern. Tesla was intensely grateful for the gentle touch to her back, however brief, and the unspoken invitation, taking it quickly. Glancing around house only minutely - and appreciative of all Elias had done in the few months he'd been there - her vivid green eyes turned to his grey's, drawing in a hitching breath that warned her she was close to panicking. She had to calm herself down or she was going to hyperventilate on the poor man.

"I -- my -- the bottle, it --" She struggled a little to catch her breath, biting the inside of her lip and forcing in a slow, long breath before trying again. "My bottle destroyed my living room," she said with a little more measure but still wavering with the tremulous emotion she felt in her chest, "and I -- I was worried -- about you and yours." Swallowing with difficulty, she looked towards the immediate golden glow, sucking in a short breath when she realized the sand was now outside the bottle rather than just in, prompting her to take a step back. "Oh, oh Aevah..."

And then she began to stammer, the thundering of her heart not very soothed by the bottle of blood that was still against her bosom. "I--I--I--I didn't know what -- what to do and I-I-I didn't know where to-to-to-to turn, everything was just -- everywhere! -- an-and I don't know how I'm going to fix it, the glass was -- a-and the vase, and the window a-and who knows upstairs -- I didn't -- I couldn't -- " Seeming to be aware that she was about to have a panic attack, she lifted one hand and covered her mouth, her fingers still spotted with dried blood though the wounds had long since been healed. There was a brief threat of tears stinging her eyes, feeling so hopelessly alone in that moment. "Elias I was so scared and I don't--"

It was about that time that the dragon's head made its way out of her cloak, the small serpentine features now 'looking' at the hunter. Tesla swallowed a hiccup and lowered her hand and, a little embarrassed, tossed her cloak over her shoulders so the bottle could be seen. As if relishing its reveal, the bottle spread its bloody wings and parted its maw at Elias, soundless yet but still quite proud of itself. It was still small - for now - though its small head turned this way and that to get a feel for its surroundings, sensing the other bottle but not yet able to 'see' it.

"...it...I think it's dragon's blood," she whispered softly, watching as the head suddenly lifted to 'look' at her, rubbing its cheek on her collar bone.

He looked at her, trying to be calm as she spoke, the words she spoke immediately making his raise his brows. "Your bottle did--what?" he started, more surprised that an occurrence of that type also happened to her, it wasn't very obvious with how his house still seemed to be untidy with some renovations but his bottle did do quite the damage on his.

His brows knit as she continued to speak in fragments, his eyes widening as he felt the presence of the swirling wind once again in his living room as well as the quiet whisper of the sand that caressed the sides of the bottle. He casted an unsure frown at his own bottle, as if scolding it again yet it wouldn't obey, the sands overflowing from the rim to spread on his table. Yet he couldn't focus on that right now, grey eyes focused on the bright greens that were filled with worry and fear, it made his heart lurch to see her this way.

"It's alright---it's alright, now. Just try to relax-- I'm here to help you," he stammered, himself, his eyes rather fearful despite his comforting words. He drew a gentle hand back on her, fingers touching lightly on her cloak, she definitely needed to sit down----- "AH--!"

He immediately recoiled as a bloody ---thing peeked out of he cloak, it's strange-- eyes? Looking up at him as if quietly examining him."Oh by the gods---" he breathed out, unsure what in the world it was as Tesla revealed the whole bloody figure to him. What was mostly surprising was that it was connected to the bottle. "The bottle...."

The man usually had the presence of mind to jump into action when it was needed but at the moment he wasn't sure of what to do at all. He may be learned but never in his life had he seen something of this sort, thoughts muddled in his head and the unstable light coming from his bottle near the fireplace wasn't helping him either. "A dragon?" he blurted out, tilting his head to the side at the creature. It--didn't seem dangerous at the moment but judging from Tesla's panicked frenzy, he wasn't really sure want to think anymore when it came to these bottles.

She sorely wanted to believe his words, and almost leaned into him if not for the dragon possessively staking its claim. Tesla watched the little creature bob and weave, trying to find the other like it near by but still 'watching' Elias. "W-well it makes sense, I found it in -- the Dragon Peaks, hidden -- a-and the size of it when I came home, Elias it was huge!" Tesla had to bite her lip to keep from getting too emotional about it again, her fingers worrying over the bulbous glass in her hands. "I thought -- they were -- extinct, but it looked like one..."

The flickering like caught her attention, turning to look at the sandy bottle again. Seeing the sudden, violent storm made her utter a startled cry; as she moved back in surprise, the bottle in her hands jerked forward, freeing itself from her briefly numbed grasp. Tesla made as though to grab the bottle, but it caught itself: a copious amount of blood splashed onto the ground at her feet, catching itself on a single, disjointed clawed arm before lowering itself to the ground. Having found the source of its intrigue, it left the two humans and drew itself across the ground with a drag of that blood claw, making the red-head cover her mouth with her hands as she realized her mistake. "Oh -- oh no no, I shouldn't have come here, Elias, I'm s-sorry--!" What if it started ruining his house? How was she to stop it then?

But it seemed content to stop itself for the time being, the glass basin setting heavily just at the base of the sand-bottle's presence. Even the small dragon was absent, the thick vitae in the bottle pressing against the glass to reach again - but refraining, almost as though showing respect for being in its domain. And there, it waited at the bottom of the sandstorm.

The hunter stood stiffly on his spot, never really one to cower over something so easily yet--- this bloody spirit seemed to be watching him, and looking at him as if he'd attack if he took a step closer to Tesla. He did however, note how it gently rubbed its face against the woman's skin, expression filled with utter confusion. He listened carefully at her, nodding his head in agreement, still careful about getting close to her, it was hard since she still seemed to be in such despair and he wished he could ease that. "It seemed to have calmed down, I think--- Tesla, please don't worry----" he chided, trying to assure her and meaning it very sincerely, that he'd help her in this ordeal. But...was it possible? The bottle was also a creature? That it was honestly alive? And that he was seeing from this little creature only confirmed that the answer was in fact, yes. Yet that meant his bottle--would soon be this way too? Some kind of----

"Wha-----!" he took a step back when the bottle fell on the floor, his eyes in utter amazement and surprise at the blood pooling on the floor, the trail of red moving towards his own bottle. He didn't really care if his house was to be thrashed, just as long as they were both safe. "No--no, you were right to come here, I don't want it to get to your house anymo----" and then he turned his stare to his swirling bottle, feeling its contained wind even from afar as the red bottle drew closer.

The sand stopped swirling roughly, settling down so suddenly when it felt the presence of another, the grains of gold settling down on the base that touched the table again. And again it lifted up, at first carefully approaching the bottle that was below it, treading slowly as if examining it. But as soon as the particles drew closer it swirled playfully around the darker bottle, never touching yet but moving around it in an excited dance.

"No, no no, it-it-it put my couch on the stairs, Elias, I wouldn't forgive myself -- or it!" she said the last part sternly towards the bottle, "if anything happened here!" As the desert sand began another wild sandstorm, she pulled her cloak around herself and moved closer to Elias, watching the strange happenings with one arm lifted as though to protect herself. "I don't -- understand! Has it -- has it done this before?" Squinting as she was, she couldn't quite see if there was sand anywhere else, but Elias look poised enough and his house in clean standing enough for her to think he'd been spared any of the bottle's tantrums.

And her own, for the most part, was still as the dance progressed, though the energy eventually called it out to play. The serpentine head flit out again, tilting and turning to watch the dazzling swirl of gold, even going so far as to snap at a few grains that it could reach. Tesla couldn't have imagine what it was doing, or what happened next: the snapping wasn't enough, and without warning, the blood container emptied at least half of its contents onto the neighboring bottle, wrapping around it and seeming to have no issues with touch or space. Likewise, it squeezed beyond the loose glass stopper and filled the golden bottle and coated what sand remained, seeping into the gem-like kernels, the sunny shine still visible despite the crimson vitae that soaked into it.

Tesla squeaked in horror, abruptly gripping Elias' shoulder. "What--what is it doing?" she cried out, very close to spilling into panic-mode again. Was hers eating Elias'? Was it going to mingle their innards? Was it just saying hi? She damned not knowing, but the fear of that same lack of knowledge was fast accumulating into a snowball of anxiety. It was only then that she noted that though the blood was seeping over the sand and immersing itself within the golden confines, it was treating it like everything else -- sliding off of it without leaving any of the essence beyond, making the grains shimmer despite the bloody backdrop. "...what..." Her grip on Elias' shoulder remained. "...what is going on?" Tesla didn't fancy herself a bottle-whisperer, but she didn't sense any malice or upset in the gesture, just the acrid taste of the strange magic in the air, the two opposite essences clashing for that moment almost tangible.

It wasn't that the young man was used to the small sandstorms the bottle conjured but he had seen much more grand actions from it--yet that didn't stop him from being so unnerved and quite fearful of what the bottle would do next. After all, he had received a lot of unsettling surprises from the bottle already, especially in the last week. With his eyes still on the bottles he tried to explain it to Tesla "It---did--- only a few days ago. And recently it filled my house with sand---" he said quickly, realizing that his reply must have sounded so ridiculous yet true all the while.

As the bloody head appeared once again, the sand twirled around the bottle in its graceful dance, the snapping only urging the sway of sand in the air. Elias watched the other bottle, shoulders stiff as it neared the grains of sand-- to a certain point he knew that the other bottle was dangerous-- or would cause destruction as he got from his worried neighbor, and though his bottle did cause him a lot of trouble, he couldn't help but feel protective over it. He took a step towards Tesla, and was startled when she grabbed his shoulder, following her gaze towards the two bottles.

He watched wide-eyed as the blood and the grains mixed together, the rich red dimming the bottle with its deep colour but the golden grains sparkling as bright as ever, welcoming the liquid gladly. The man couldn't help but put a worried hand on Tesla's arm, shaking his head at her in deep confusion. "Your bottle---- it's in mine-- and just--- " The sand seemed to swirl happily as it mixed into the new visitor, the bottle rocking in place with how the grains seemed to shift so energetically.

Elias then took a step forward, keeping his distance from the two bottles for now, exercising his caution. "Stop that--!" he says with a determined tone, it wasn't that this connection looked threatening or anything, but it was definitely unsettling for him, unsure of what would result in the union of the two.

The blood churned and twined with the sand, and it seemed that indeed, they were greeting one another. Tesla was almost entirely convinced it was all that they were doing, but Elias seemed to be deeply perturbed by it. She took a step with him, keeping the light contact. "We don't -- we don't know what they're doing --" The last thing she wanted to do was piss off the dragon, in case it decided to enlist the aid of its new, sharp-grained friend.

The blood swirled quietly with the desert gold, but with Elias' sudden, threatening advance, it reacted. As quickly as it had entered the other bottle, it drew out and became the same large creature it was when Tesla had come home: the size of a large horse, the blood dragon filled that portion of the room, parting its maw and displaying blood fangs at the Hunter in warning. The desert sand bottle was held between its front claws, not in a threatening manner, but lightly pulled against its chest - a possessive marker. It snapped its 'teeth' a few times, the bloody wingspan so wide it easily touched wall to wall, it's bloody tail lashing over furniture and against the fireplace, the appendage flickering through the flames with little more than a hiss in passing.

"Elias--!" Her grip on his arm tightened before loosening, allowing her to step next to him as though she'd protect him. Narrowing her green eyes at the dragon, she pointed at it with her free hand. "Stop that! You do not threaten him, least of all in his own house!" The dragon curved its thick neck and regarded her. For a moment, it seemed as though it wouldn't stand down, but it compromised instead, lowering its head over the bottle as though to shield it from the two humans. Its own bottle was nearly invisible within the great beast's chest, a light glow around it as though it were its heart.

Drawing in a slow breath, she looked to Elias, her face utterly filled with apology. "I'm so sorry--I don't--" Looking back to the bloody beast, she bit her lip, withdrawing her hand from Elias and rubbing her arm subconsciously. "This is what -- I came home to."
PostPosted: Sun Jan 22, 2012 8:25 pm

Unfortunately Tesla's words were too late. The young man had a somewhat threatening stance at the bottle that was near his golden one, though he wasn't sure what it was doing, he didn't want anything horrible happening to his bottle or to any of them, he didn't really trust the blood bottle. But as soon as he had uttered his words of warning it had swiftly changed into this grand creature---a large dragon. He had to look up to meet its eyes as it spread its bloody appendages and filled his living room with red, Elias could scarcely believe this was actually happening, shaking his head to make sure this wasn't some creepy dream he was having.

But it was real, and this dragon was warning him in its dangerous stance, no doubt wanting to keep his bottle to itself.

Needless to say the hunter was definitely scared by this blood spirit, his body stiffening at the piercing deep eyes that watched him. Yet Elias was never one to back down even though he was very much fearful of what it may do to him. He started to extend his arm to protect Tesla but it was in vain-- the woman was in front of him and speaking to this creature instead. "T-Tesla!" He stared at her in sincere surprise of her actions and realization that they were talking to these--things. And with Tesla's warning to it, golden grains poured out from the other bottle and seeped on the floor towards the man, the sand gently touching on his feet as it urging him that it was alright. ---It was as if these things understood what they were saying.

He turned to the red beast, watching it cradle the glowing bottle that looked content, save for the grains that danced within. As the creature settled, the grains of sand slowly lifted up and touched on its long neck lightly and carefully, whirling around as it slowly tried to mingle with the red once again.

Elias had to tear his eyes away from his spectacle--still very displeased with this reaction to each other yet not daring to take another step nearer or upsetting the winged spirit either. "It's not your fault--- I---what in the world is happening to these bottles.." he said with a sigh and troubled look at Tesla, nodding his head towards her. "Must have been very frightening," he turned to glance at it again and back to Tesla, seeing that perhaps they had to wait before the two bottles calmed down. "I will help you with ----this, I swear by Aevah, I will."

Aware of the sand that skittered like tiny gems over the ground, she followed it with her eyes before glancing to Elias' face. "Ah, it seems...yours likes you." There was a wistfulness in her tone, Tesla's gaze pulling back to the giant red beast. Whereas Elias' sand was considerate, even comforting, it seemed her bottle of blood 'owned' her and had great expectations. In a way, she felt like the demands were as great as taking care of her five sisters. "I'm -- I'm fine, Elias, and I wont let it threaten you."

Unlike when she tried to touch the blood, the sand had no problem sinking into the viscous body, gliding through the dragon like thick water. The blood didn't seem to mind in the least, even inviting the warm touch by spreading its wings, giving the sand more to explore. Slowly, it shrunk in size, partially filling the bottle that now rested next to the sandy one again, the thick liquid curving to try and take as much of the golden kernels as it could. The way it continually drew the sand closer to itself and away from the other two had an unmistakable protectiveness about it, if not possessiveness.

The red-head regarded the hunter with gentle uncertainty. It wasn't that she didn't appreciate his offer, but she had no idea what he could do to help her, especially when the issues was her. Releasing her arm, Tesla extended both hands to take one of Elias', squeezing it lightly. "I don't know what's going on, Elias and I -- Aevah, I'm frightened, but I'll do my best to help you too." She thought their hands might be full with just what they had, glancing over to watch her bloody charge continue to slip into the sandy jar, filling it with the darker essence again. "Just -- know you're here...helps. I would have broken down if I was handling this alone, so -- so thank you."
PostPosted: Sun Jan 22, 2012 9:09 pm

Elias had never considered Tesla's observation. The bottle likes him? That would be preposterous, yet again, all logic faded away in the face of what was happening even right in front of them. It was true though, that Elias felt great comfort with his bottle though it proved to be increasingly feisty--it had a certain warm presence that it brought to the room. That is---without it merging with the bloody one.

"Are you sure?" with this he raised up a gentle hand at her but stopping before he could touch her shoulder, lowering his eyes and still very perturbed by the present happenings and worried about Tesla's well-being with that bottle in her possession. Yet it seemed that it actually-- obeyed her, with a bit of gloom involved, yes, but at least that fact comforted him a little. "Ah...." he watched in quiet awe at how the creature began to shrink back to the bottle, the flowing red spread across the wooden floor and taking all the bright sand it could take, sweeping it away from the two of them. And he still didn't like it one bit.

The sandy bottle didn't seem to resist the entering of the rich blood again, the particles inside dancing in welcome of the blood that covered its glass walls and immersed itself in the grains. The bright bottle now seemed oblivious to everything else, happy and satisfied that it had gotten its companion once again inside, the leftover grains dancing on the rim in delight and with no sense of fear for the other.

Elias almost jumped when the red-head took his hand, a light colour of red hinting at his cheeks now aware of the woman who was touching his skin. Yet her words made him settle down, chest tightening at the words. "Some work of creation, it seems," he started, lowering his eyes briefly, "I know-- I am very much useless and unhelpful with this but I will try and help. Get the bottom of all this strangeness---" and he paused at her last sentence as she thanked him, the light blush on his cheeks deepening. "I--It's not a problem. You come here anytime you feel scared--if the bottle does something strange again." Determinedly he bowed his head at her, as if a sign of his promise. "What---- about your house? Anything I can do to help as of now?"

"Call it woman's intuition." Tesla chuckled softly at how uncertain Elias seemed to be, the way he was gazing at the sand like a disapproving father; she'd know, she'd seen the look enough on her own father's face. It was sort of endearing and made her a little homesick. "Don't worry so much, I...I think they're just...introducing each other." Lowering her eyes, her fingers delicately traced over his own fingers, noting that one of them had a strange black tattooed band around it. "Can you imagine? Being away from everything that is like you, only immersed in what seems to be your element, hidden away from the world...it must be exciting for them, if they can feel excitement." Smiling a little, she added, "And yours seems very excited indeed."

And the bloody bottle seemed to be utterly soothed by the other's warmth and acceptance, ceasing it's churning to simply bask in the belly of the sandy bottle, the essence at ease inside the other's container. The almost empty bottle tipped towards the other, even, lightly clinking their glass necks together in an almost lethargic motion. In all the time she'd had the bottle, Tesla had only seen the blood stop moving once, and that was when it was first 'aware' of the desert sand. The thought gave her the chills: even before the blood escaped the bottle, it was aware and alert.

Elias' words drew her gaze back to his face, her green eyes widening. "Elias Theale! You take that back right now! You are by no means useless. I am grateful for your presence and your kindness." Tesla's cheeks took on a vaguely pink stain as he gently invited her over whenever she needed help, aware she was still holding his hand. Shaking her head, she released the man's fingers and lifted both of her hands to his face, drawing him downwards as she stood up on her toes. One hand slid to his neck - briefly noting he had the same black banding there too - before pressing her lips softly but insistingly to his cheek, taking in his scent of firewood, metal and the distinct smell of the breeze flitting through the woods. Lowering herself until her heels were on the floor again, she gave him a very warm smile. "You are helping, even now, Elias. I can't make it up to you, I don't know how to pay back comfort."

Patting his cheek with one hand and briefly touching her knuckles to the opposite cheek, she let him go and made her way to the bottles. "Come on now," she said quietly, kneeling and resting her fingers around the glass neck of the bloody bottle, "it's time to go." It seemed as though the blood was going to completely remove itself from the original bottle and join the desert sand, but Tesla continued. "And before you throw a stink, know that we're neighbors, little one. If you're nice to Elias and respect his word, then he might let you visit again. Mind yourself." The viscous liquid swirled and tightened around the sandy bottle's contents for a moment before reluctantly, slowly withdrawing from it and gliding into its own container. Once she was certain the bottle had all it had come with, she gently touched the sand's bottle in apology. "I'm sorry for separating you. I'm sure we'll meet again."

Standing, she held the bottle up to the light to confirm there was no sand in it - and there wasn't, not even a single grain - before tucking it against her chest and giving Elias another fond smile. "Again, my gratitude is entirely yours, Elias. Thank you. I think I can go home and...sleep easier, now." She began to make her way out of the house, pausing before she reached the door. "...if you've the time, I'd appreciate your help tomorrow. I'm not sure I can move the couch by myself." Tesla didn't even know how she'd get around it to begin with, but she'd worry about that later. With her fear quelled and bearing a sense of contentment after all that had happened, seeing the two bottles interact was a small blessing.
PostPosted: Sun Jan 22, 2012 10:09 pm

"Introducing?..." he gave an uneasy look at the bottles that were still united, the two bottles happily reacting to one another very easily. It certainly looked like more than an introduction with the other bottle almost empty and filling the golden one, the sand overflowing and drifting across the wooden table. Elias had never seen the bottle act this way before, it had its moments where it swirled happily around the house, sweeping across the floor and even making little sandstorms yet at this moment even though it was excited and flowed into the thick red liquid it seemed so calm and content, not restless anymore but as if it had found something, someone that it could understand and that understood it completely.

Tesla's words struck a chord in Elias, nodding his head in response, for a moment rather feeling bad for the bottles-- if they even had...feelings-- realizing that perhaps this was the first time both had met another one like them, probably even never knowing that they were not alone. All these thoughts seemed so insane but at the same time it seemed right to him.

"It's very --excitable indeed, even more now." he turned to look at the woman, knowing his hand was still in hers and shifting his weight nervously. He gave her a look of surprise when she told him to take it back, biting his lip in turn and lowering his eyes, not realizing when she released his hand and moved in closer to him, hands on either side of his face as the dark-haired man stared at her, absolutely stupefied at the lips on his cheek!

"Ahh--AAAH-- T-Tesla!" he managed to blurt out as she continued to run his hands on his skin, wide-eyed more than before, composure lost even as she let go, his cheeks burning up with the lips he could still very clearly feel on his warm cheek. "I----I--ah----" he stammered as she walked to the bottle, anchored in place. He listened quietly when she continued to talk to the bottle, as if it were a child. Sure he 'talked' to his but he never really thought it would understand, much less respond at all! Yet now it seemed so clear that these bottles--did have a mind of their own and that was a scary thought for him.

The sandy content did not want to let go as well, letting out a rather violent glow when the blood slowly released it, then following that with a dim, moody glow, the sands that were dancing slowly moving on the glass sides to get back into the bottle, slowly shifting inside as if searching for the liquid that was once there.

"Tesla--- as I said, you're always welcome," he said, cheeks still flushed from earlier, "Take care---and of course I will help you tomorrow as soon as you want me." he nodded in confirmation, the room lit darker without the warm glow of the bottle filling the room.

It was hard to believe not that long ago, she'd been gripped by fear and uncertainty, and now she was repressing an uncharacteristic giggle at the hunter's blurted response and blazing cheeks. It was easy for her to see why the bottle favored him. "Tomorrow, then. I'll make you meal for your generosity. Ah and -- " glancing to the dimmed room, her smile took an apologetic turn, "please tell your bottle I'm sorry. If you're not too against the idea, you can bring it tomorrow and they can...entertain each other and not destroy things." Tesla laughed softly under her breath, hugging the warm bottle to her chest as it stirred at her words. She was utterly convinced now that it understood her. "Good night, Elias. And thank you."

Letting herself out, she immediately made her way home in the cover of dark, a dim heart-red glow the only proof of her passing before it, too, was swallowed into the dark house.
