Hey guys~ Captain Liv here~ Welcome to the Blind Date V-Day event! As many of you know, I have planned a little Blind Date mini-rp thing. Basically, anyone that signs up will be paired up. I will "randomly" choose the pairings, and the couples will then RP their "blind date". Please read the rules before you decide to sign up!

[ Rules ]
-If you sign up, no matter who you are paired with, you HAVE to give the date a chance. No standing people up or walking out after 2 minutes!
-You can choose where your date takes place, and all the other aspects thereof ( i.e. If it's a nice restaurant at night, or a daytime picnic, etc. ).
-I will choose one person to be the chooser, or the person that picks the meeting place and atmosphere. The other person will 'meet' the chooser at their place of choosing.
-Have fun!

After debating long and hard about what she was going to do about the blind date, Kiah had chosen her outfit and decided on horseback riding followed by a picnic. Then she proceeded to bang her head against the wall once she'd submitted it, allowing her date to find her. Once she'd gotten ready, (I wish I hadn't picked this out... I know I'm wearing shorts, but who wears a dress while horseback riding?) she'd made a few sandwiches to throw in the basket, which already had a blanket, assorted fruits and vegetables, some sweets swiped from the ballroom, and a few different beverages in it. She wasn't sure what her date would like, so she stuffed as many different things into it as she could, having a bit of a tough time carrying it to the stables.
After checking in with the one who owned the horses, walked in to get the horses ready, talking soothingly all the while. "Hey Daisy, hey Thunder. How about a little ride, hmm?" She continued to have a one sided converstion while grooming them and tacking them up with ease, wanting them to be ready to go as soon as her date got there. While doing all of this, however, she couldn't help but get nervous at the questions running through her head. What if he doesn't like horses? Or picnics? Can you hate picnics? What if it's someone I don't know? Were Order members the only ones who could sign up? Dang it, Komui! I know it was you! When she was done getting the horses ready, she sat on a bale of hay, stroking Daisy and trying to stay calm.

Lavi had been woken up by a knock on his door. Groggily, he'd opened the door, surprised to find a rather unamused looking Finder standing there. He wasn't sure what had been going on until he had been forcefully handed a pink envelope and he had remembered what day it was. The Finder had quickly left again, probably bullied into being an errand-boy by Komui. Inside the envelope had been an equally pink piece of paper with a location printed on it, the stables nearby, and he had figured this was where he was supposed to meet his blind date.
When he'd stepped outside, he noticed it was still quite chilly, and he was glad he'd put on a jacket. On his way to the stables, he wondered who he'd find there, hoping it'd be someone he'd have a good time with. If they were meeting at the stables, he figured they'd probably go horseriding, which was something he enjoyed, at least. Once he'd reached the stables, he carefully pushed open the wooden doors, peeking his head around to take a quick look, the smell of horses hitting him in the face. Kiah was sitting there, stroking a horse, and he was simultaneously happy to see her and a little flustered at the memory of what had happened when he'd last seen her the day before. He quickly shook that thought from his mind, though. He wasn't going to let that make things uncomfortable, if she wouldn't. He'd already made up his mind to make this as fun a day as he could.
"Hey Kiah." He approached her, a lopsided smile on his face. He was glad he got thrown into this with someone he was friends with, at least, and hoped that she felt the same way and wouldn't be too angry about the whole thing. He twirled the yellow rose he'd taken along in his fingers a little before he held it out to her with a small clearing of his throat. "This is for you. Yellow roses, they represent friendship." He told her with a knowledgeable nod and a grin.

Kiah was startled out of her thoughts by the sound of the doors opening, watching with wide eyes to see who she'd be spending her day with. When Lavi took a few steps into the stable, Kiah almost leapt for joy, glad that she was paired up with one of her good friends instead of a stranger. She couldn't help the small blush that colored her cheeks at the memory of their one sided kiss, but she was hoping that it wouldn't be brought up. She just wanted to make this as entertaining as possible without any romantic feelings involved.
"Hey Lavi! Glad to see you here!" She grinned at him and accepted the yellow rose happily, having already known what it meant. He must've been dragged into this too. Closing her eyes and giving it a small sniff, Kiah looked back up at him gratefully. "Thanks Lavi! I suppose you've already guessed what we're doing today. I hope you like horses!" She smiled started to lead Daisy out of the stabbles, lugging their lunch in her other hand with a small amount of difficulty.
"I have Thunder there all ready, so we can go now," she called, strapping the picnic basket onto the saddle and mounting her dapple grey mare. "Come on Daisy, let's go." Kiah started to slowly guide her forward toward the woods, looking behind her and making sure Lavi was catching up. She wouldn't want to be a bad date and leave him behind on accident.

Kiah's reaction was a relief to him, and he could feel the corners of his mouth stretching in a big smile. Glancing around the stables, he nodded, his gaze resting on an already geared up horse, the one he guessed was meant for him. "Yeah, I do." He approached the chestnut horse, apparently named Thunder, as Kiah led hers outside. "Hey, Thunder..." Stroking Thunder's nose a little, he noted the horse was quite calm, probably used to seeing humans come and go all the time. Lavi was thankful this wouldn't be his first time riding a horse, not wanting to look like a complete idiot.
Grabbing the reins, he led Thunder outside as Kiah had, and mounted him. Pushing the horse into a small trot, they caught up with Kiah and Daisy and he manoeuvred Thunder to ride beside her. He eyed the basket she'd strapped to the saddle. "Are we having a picnic?" He asked her cheerfully, hoping this to be true as he hadn't really had much of a breakfast and was already starting to feel hungry again. Staring up at the clear sky, squinting a little at the sunlight shining through the treetops, he smiled. "It's a nice day for one."

Kiah was happy to see that Lavi knew what he was doing, not that she'd had any doubts. Had she been paired with anyone else she might have had to give them a crash course, which probably wouldn't have ended well. She wasn't very good at explaining things like this to other people. Giving Lavi a bit of an embarrassed smile, Kiah answered his question. "We sure are! I also packed way too much food..." she trailed off, quickly telling him the details. "I didn't know exactly who my date would be, so I put as many different things in here as I could." She tapped the basket before opening it partway and putting the rose inside carefully, making sure that it wouldn't be damaged as soon as it was shut.
"I also think I found the perfect spot to eat, too. Though I suppose you'll have to be the judge of that." Kiah guided her horse deeper into the woods, knowing exactly were she was going. She'd taken regular trips through the area since she'd arrived at the European Branch, and had only gone every once in awhile once she had known the place like the back of her hand. "So how did you end up doing the blind date?" she asked curiously.

Mizaka was not thrilled. Valentine's Day was never a holiday she took much interest in and she usually ignored whatever holiday-related events took place around her. This year, however, she somehow found herself dragged into a blind date with God knows who. The whole thing is irritating, to say the least, but once she found out that she couldn't back down on this, she had no choice but to reluctantly give in to this childish game and hope that it doesn't end up as a total disaster.
After putting on her prettiest kimono (made out of golden cloth with beautiful floral designs stitched on it), she made her way out of her room, only to be met with the eager face of Franzie.
"Mizaka's going on a daaaaaaate." Mizaka groaned in annoyance. The last thing she needed was teasing from the older girl.
"Whatever, it's nothing serious. Just a stupid event the Black Order decided to throw in. Just like that Valentine's Day party." She made her way around her friend, only to have Franzie follow her close behind.
"It's true that girls get to choose the location of the date, right? Where are you going?"
"Just a Chinese restaurant not too far from here. Nothing fancy. Don't wanna make the poor sap feel uncomfortable." Mizaka had written down the name and address of the restaurant on a note and given it to a Finder to be delivered to her date. "Now get lost before I hurt you..."
Franzie only giggled at her threat and skipped away while saying, "Have fuuuuuuun," in a sing-song voice. Unbeknownst to either of them, Jack was silently stalking his Master as she made her way to her rendezvous.

Leaning forward a little, Lavi gave Thunder a few pats on his shoulder. Kiah had chosen a nice date setting, the somewhat chilly breeze blowing through his hair combined with the warming rays of sun on his face a welcome change from having been cooped up inside the stuffy castle for the last few days. He'd needed some fresh air. "Well, good!" He exclaimed with a grin, looking forward to whatever food she'd stuffed in there. "I'm starving and there's not a lot I don't like, so I'm glad you did."
"I think the same as everyone, really..." He said to answer her question, shrugging a little. "Someone probably signed me up for it... it definitely wasn't a conscious choice. But I'm sure it'll be fun!" He added the last bit hastily, not wanting to make her feel bad. "I think Komui is trying to pair off everyone just so they won't get close to Lenalee..." With a frown, he shook his head, thinking by now no one was stupid enough to even look at the girl with the way her brother already terrorized everyone without much of a reason to. He said a silent prayer for the poor sap who ever would truly fall for her.

Soma had been sitting on his chair, with the heels of his feet placed on the edge of his desk. A knock came at the door and jarred him from his thoughts. He had honestly forgotten what day it was. He placed his feet on the ground and rose from his seat. He opened the door. Apparently he was to be the recipient of a delivery. He accepted the note and opened it while standing in the doorway. They were directions. He closed his eyes and slapped his forehead. Forgetting things always made him feel clumsy. Soma never enjoyed feeling clumsy.
He made it a point to almost always be presentable, no matter what time. So, there was no need to change. He threw on his boots and headed out the door. He followed the directions to the destination. If he remembered correctly, the address was a chinese restaurant. Chinese sounded good. It had been some time since he had indulged in some. Before long, he had reached the restaurant. It seemed he had arrived first. He stood outside and waited for his company to arrive.

"That's good to hear. I was afraid I'd have to eat the extra myself before it went bad," she smiled, never one for wasting food. Not to mention that Jerry might be very disappointed to know that they hadn't finished the sweets he'd made. She frowned a bit and urged Daisy on a bit faster at his words, afraid to keep him waiting while he was hungry. "We should be there soon." She guided Daisy around a fallen log, not pushing her in her current outfit.
Kiah smiled a bit at Lavi's last sentence, noticing how quickly he'd added it and not feeling the least bit offended. "I'm thinking it was Komui all along. Though I don't know why he's trying so hard. I haven't even met Lenalee yet, not to mention that I've never met anyone who seemed too infatuated with her..." She sighed a bit at the crazy supervisor and shook her head, wondering if he really was trying to keep everyone away from his sister, or if he just wanted to mess with those in the order. "What's Lenalee like, anyway?"

As Mizaka made her way to the entrance of the restaurant, she immediately caught sight of the young man standing outside. His posture told her that he was waiting for someone, and so she slowly made her way towards him.
"Excuse me..." As Mizaka made her presence known, she suddenly recognized the man before her. She had seen him lurking around the Order a few times, though she doesn't recall ever properly introducing herself to him. "You must be my blind date." Mizaka stood and looked over the man's appearance. The attire he wore was very presentable and gave off a gentleman-like look. She saw a level of intelligence in his eyes and silently thanked Heaven that she wasn't paired off with some fool who would only irritate her further. So far, as appearances go, her date didn't seem so bad. But what about his personality?
"I'm Mizaka. Nice to meet you."
