Olearius had broken off out into the world from her parents. She felt slightly more at ease around her family, they were all different much like her and the only views and glimpses of other Soquili were again different, though only having been brought up about her family she viewed herself as normal and those other Soquili as rather strange. Her family had always stayed pretty much in the same place, in the woodland closest to the swamp as her father liked the water that moisten the air as it soothed his legs and the open wounds which never seemed to be able to heal. Olearius didn't like open spaces, she had glimpsed the open plains from the edge of the forest once and the vast open expanse had scared her, there was no cover and the feeling of exposure wasn't a pleasurable thought. So when the day had come that she choose to make her own way in life she stayed within the forest but headed further into it's depths, away from the swampy edges.

It was mid winter, there was no snow on the ground nor a frost, it was simply grey and rather windy. Peeking up though the bare branches of the trees she watched as the clouds hurried across the sky, though whatever was chasing them across sky wasn't brothering to bring chase down amongst the trees as their was little wind at ground level. She brought her gaze down and looked ahead of her, many of the trees in this area were deciduous and had lost their golden dying levels some months ago though life still flourished here. She could see where the leafs had felt and the autumn winds had caused them to scurry away into corners against dead logs and fallen branches, here they decayed and now some weeks on fungi began to grow to feed on the rich nutrients.

Olearius was at peace, simply wondering the woods.

Silvanus had let his daughter go off and seek out her romance with her new lifemate. It was odd, he was very used to being alone. But without having a daughter around him it was almost lonely. Nonetheless he had to find his way through working his domain. He was knelt over by a fallen tree. The forest fires from the summer had knocked its magnificent stature down. The rare oak within the forest. It was where he was more comfortable in deciduous Eco-zones. Under the larger elder trees. The younger ones did give him amusement though. Always eager to get to Spring to drop their seeds.

As he bent over and whispered to the moss around the stump and trunk of the tree he tilted his head. As he did a small root grew from the trunk and it sprouted two leaves. The bringing of a new tree. All Silvanus could do for the old worn down oak. Moving away his senses would pick up another Soquili's empathic link. She seemed relatively curious however.. He felt something odd about her. As he moved through the forest he shielded his large wings against his back. Huffing a little patiently as he looked around for the other in the forests. Conversation was odd for him but it had been a long time since his last.

Olearius' contented herself with simply walking, spotting the odd fungi which she'd never seen before which interested her, she liked the fleshy growths, something slightly morbid about decomposition yet in another light they gave life to the greater, living lifeforms all around her, as well as the smaller plants. A twig broke under weight and she froze, she was wary of others, she had found growing up around parents such as her own had instilled her with distrust for foreign company, unknowing of how they would judge her appearance. She took a side step towards a tree, in a natural reflex of protecting one's side, thus limited the angles she could be approached from. She looked deep into the woods and listened, a ruffling of leaves tickled her ears, and she looked off towards to the sound spotting the autumnal coloured stallion.

She stiffened, though strangely she did not move, and staring straight at him, he caught her stare and knew she could not back away now, something told her that would be rude, and at first glance he seemed friendly. She raised her gaze slightly, noting the small set of wings upon his upon his head, tracing his neck she rested her eyes upon his back. He was an Angeni! She'd never come across such a being before, and curiosity overrode her parental engrained fear of the unknown and in her soft, somewhat ghostly sounding voice greeted him, 'Afternoon.'
