A large lake that anyone is allowed to visit. The lake is surrounded by trees with a small dock for fishing. The lake is also a fifteen minute walk from the school and is welcome to everybody.~

Kyo walked out onto the shore and looked around admiring the view he smiles and pulls his scarf up a little as he walks to the edge of the water his tail sways slightly he didn't really like getting wet seeing as he was a cat ....but he did enjoy the view ...hence why he was fully clothed he put his hands in his pockets a small bell on his belt jingled and he smiled lightly at the familiar sound of it backing away from the shore a bit he sat in the grass and sighed contently laying back his tail sprawled beside him in a senseless shape

~Syrena~ ...Song of the sea... ...Dream of the wind... ...Echo of the tide...

The quiet splashing of water sounded by the edge of the lake. The surface of the lake was calm, all except for the muted rippling that came from a certain direction. An oversized fishtail broke through the water, the tail shimmering with hues of oceanic blues and greens. The movement was followed by the slender figure of a female, though at her waist, was where the elegant form of the fishtail was connected----A mermaid.
Syrena didn't mind the icy temperature of the water, knowing she could withstand any sort of temperature of water no matter how cold. Her navy blue tank top was drenched with water, now clinging to her slender figure from the dampness. Syrena propped herself up with one arm behind her, one in front of her. She streched her long mermaid tail out in front of her underneath the sunlight, though loosely shook her head from side to side, scattering sparkling silver droplets of water from her cascade of golden-blonde hair.
Her cerulean blue eyes, which were the same color as her fishtail, scanned across the shore of the lake. Spotting one more person, she rose her hand up in a wave, now wanting to socialize rather than swim. "Hello, there." Syrena called softly in her smooth soprano voice, hoping he did not find her being a mermaid too odd.

~Syrena~ ...Song of the sea... ...Dream of the wind... ...Echo of the tide...

Syrena glanced up as she saw him approaching, her cerulean blue eyes calm in content. The first thing she noticed was his cat ears, which she found amusing and interesting at the same time. Syrena streched the slender form of her mermaid tail out, allowing the shimmering blue scales to dry under the golden light of the sun. She shook the fan-like form of her fin from side to side, scattering silver droplets of water, though she was careful not to splash him. She glanced in his direction, the expression across her porcelain-like face friendly and calm. "I am Syrena. Nice to meet you." Her smooth soprano voice chimed softly. The rosy forms of Syrena's lips formed an amused half-smirk, half-smile. She had noticed the way he seemed to not want to get too close to the water. "I take it you do not like water very much?" Syrena said, speaking it as a question rather than a statement, as the elegant line of her eyebrow arched in curiosity.

"Oh, why thank you." She responded smoothly with the light nod of her head. Syrena had never really thought of her name as pretty, because she had grown so used to it. Already, she was feeling anxious being out of the water. Syrena slipped into the murky shallows of the lake, remaining half in the water and half out, her damp blonde hair falling in a cascade of waves to her waist. "You know, your one of the first few people who've seen me like this. I'm new to the school. And not many people know me yet, let alone have seen me in this form. I'm surprised your not completely freaked out." She said, her soft soprano voice ringing with tints of laughter.

Allen was sat quietly on a willow tree that over hung the lake slightly, he was laying back on the branch looking at the sky, he smiled and began to hum softly, his tails were drapped over his lap to keep them from getting wet

~Syrena~ ...Song of the sea... ...Dream of the wind... ...Echo of the tide...

Syrena paused, the cerulean blues of her eyes gaining an absentminded sense of thought. The full pinkish forms of her lips curled up around the edges slightly, forming a smile as she let out the soft whisper of a sigh. "The water?" Syrena paused, now looking over her shoulder at him, a few loose strands of damp silvery hair falling across the porcelain cheekbones of her face. "Well, to me, the water.... It's what I live for. To me, the water is like a blanket. Today, it seems to be a bit warmer than it was yesterday.... The water in this lake sometimes tends to be a bit on the chilly side, but today, it's just right." Syrena peered up at him from the water as she spoke, lightly resting the smooth forms of her arms against the surface of the rock, the shimmering form of her fish-like tail swaying upwards from the water's surface.
((Sorry if I haven't responded in a long time. @.@))

"Oh sorry... It seems as if I had misheard your question. My bad, but thank you anyways." She responded with a slight smile. Syrena paused, rolling onto her back so that she was floating atop the water's surface, her cascade of hair moving in a cloud-like form of gold underneath the water. Her cerulean blue eyes, framed by thick lashes, grew dazed with thought for a moment as she processed a response. "Well...." Her soft voice would trail off momentarily as she gazed over at him. "Being a mermaid has it's ups and downs... For one thing, no one can beat us at swimming. We can control the water, as well as communicate with the creatures that live in it." Syrena said with a soft chime of laughter. "But, however, we are... commited to the water, in the way. No matter how hard we try to be human sometimes with a human form, we will never fully be... human. Although I am able to maintain a human form, I cannot maintain that form easily. I've spent nearly my whole life underwater. I'm more graceful with fins than legs--- So when I walk I often stumble. Also, I cannot remain in a human form forever.... I can only hold that form for about a whole day, before I am forced to go into my mermaid form and be within the water. Because if we do not venture into the water once a day, then we may get incredibly... ill." She forced another chime of laughter, as if to lighten the subject. "But on the most part, being a mermaid is.... Interesting, because for one thing, I've yet to meet another mermaid here." Syrena would then swim over to where he was, her delicate face seeming to hold a childish sense of curiosity. "So... What's it like having cat ears and a tail?" Her soft voice would ask, speaking out each word in a smooth tone of voice, although her bright blue eyes were widenned slightly with interest.

Reon_Zino Reon_Zino Kyo smiled and listened to her talk as he listened he could relate to some of what she said and understood what she ment "wow... you make being a mermaid sound almost... whats the word... ... oh well you make it sound glamourous...but also like a pain at times" he says to her then smiled "oh whats it like to be a neko... well for one thing the ears and tail make you easily recogniseble as a non human... and theres noting i can do about it..then theres the adversion to water...yet facination with fish...and birds..and mice..and yarn ..and bells..and well lots of things you easily get distracted and i cant mantian my huiman form for more than 2 days before i have to change into a full cat for a hour or so...that and theres the dogs that like to chace you...." he chcukled a bit and shrugged " but then again there is the increase agility and speed the always handy retractible claws and the ability to see at night... so it hasd its ups and downs"

"Yes, well... I suppose it is rather glamourous sometimes.... But, according to myths and legends, some of us mermaids have a nasty habit of drowning poor sailors." Syrena said with an innocent smirk across her face, as she gave a soft giggle to signify that she was joking. But in a way, she also wasn't joking---- Some mermaids really did try to drown people, although Syrena of course, would never try to do such a thing. She then paused to listen to him as he spoke. Her oceanic blue gaze met his, her eyes becoming widenned pools of interest, giving away hints of fascination and wonder. "You can turn into a cat? I wish I could do that. That sounds so fun! Well... Except for the part about getting chased by dogs." Syrena said in a cheery tone of voice. "Hm... So, as you had said... You try to avoid water sometimes.... But you have a fascination with fish?" She said with a soft giggle. Syrena then lifted the elegant form of her mermaid tail out of the water, as though to emphasize her point. Some of the bright blue and silvery scales shimmered under the light of the sun, reflecting the same colors back within the water. Syrena dove underneath the surface of the water for a breif moment. The fresh water was like oxygen to her, and therefore, she did not feel the human need to hold her breath. Syrena swam around underneath the depths of the lake, moving in a blurr of silver speed. She paused, once she spotted a small fish swimming around---a minnow. Hello, there! Syrena thought within her head, though the thought was then transferred as an indirect message to the fish--- Communicating to underwater creatures with her mind was one of the stranger things she was able to do with her powers. The small fish swam over to her, and then began following her as well as she swam back over underneath the water to where Kyo was. When Syrena re-emerged through the shimmering surface of the water, so did the small fish, as it preformed a leap into the air before splashing back down. "Fishie?" Syrena said innocently with a chime of laughter.
