Roll a six: Electric Field: The field is completely flat. Standing at the four corners and at the exact center of the field are five electrical towers that stand at six feet in height. These release static discharge across the field at random; electric attacks may be able to amplify themselves by using these stray charges to their advantage. The discharges also programmed to encourage pokemon to avoid standing in one location for too long This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ELECTRIC type attacks.

Chloe sighed and debated about if she wanted to go through with this battle when the field landed on the one it did. She wasn't a fan of what might happen to Terrata if she was up against an electric type, but no... She had to make it through. This was her first battle, and it would be terrible for her confidence if Chloe made her back out just because of a field disadvantage.
It was time to find out what this Lugia could do.

Shina walked into the stadium, looking around at the electric field. Anna bounded happily into the arena, looking around for her opponent.

"Let's go, Terrata!" Chloe released the Lugia from her pokeball and the large flying pokemon landed with a thud on the field, blinking a few times and staring across the stadium at the other trainer, puzzled.

"A... A Furret!" Terrata tilted her head at her opponent and shook her head to clear her mind as commanded. She closed her eyes and let her worries fly away, feeling herself growing stronger from it.

Terrata gasped as she felt her will drain from the attack, and she launched herself into the air, spinning about and slamming her tail down with the intent to hit Anne before she could use that attack again.

Anna darted to the side and avoided the worst of the powerful attack, but the bit that hit her stung. It only seemed to incite her to greater excitement though. She drew the charge in the air to herself, then blasted a concentrated beam of electricity at the flying pokemon.

Terrata let out a woeful cry of pain as the beam hit her square in the chest. This time with much less energy than before, she whipped her tail around at her attacker.

Terrata's aim was slightly off, giving Anna just enough leeway to dodge. She darted quickly to the side, and with an evil giggle, sent a blob of shadowy energy flying at the Lugia.

Terrata felt her tail smack into the ground again and was struck by a painful ball of shadow once more, this time hitting her hard instead of just draining her power. Without waiting for a command she whipped around again, determined to land at least one hit on Anne.

Anna took a nasty blow, tumbling across the field. She bounded back to her feet, chittering and hissing. The hissing changed to a staticy noise, just before she began to glow. A beam of light lanced out, aimed at the legendary.
