He's rather weak when it comes to battling, since he wasn't designed to use powerful attacks; He is more of a helper Moemon in battle. Some people find his bubbly personality to be a bit annoying, for he's usually always happy and clingy. Even if someone is mean to him, he tends to brush it off and act like it never happened. Many people also say that he's a lot more girly than he should be.

Being the clingy person he was, Hanecco found himself to be quite close to the professor that had created the huge group of hybrids, even if he had never spoken to him. He would sit near him and listen to anything he said, soaking up the words with interest. That's why when the..incident happened, he became rather at a loss of what to do. To make matters worse, during the process of being packed away Hani had gotten separated from the other Hoppip he used to hang around with in the mess of it all. So when all of the Moemon escaped from their imprisoned state, he was forced seek out and surround himself with new friends of all types and species to keep him company.
