New Brookfield is a large, sprawling city. It would be comparable to New York City in terms of size. Though it has no "true" location (I'm not going to try and find a place in the U.S. to throw it down, haha) there is some specific scenery around the metropolis. Farmland, forests, and even an ocean are all near-by.

Greenhouse: The converted warehouse stands tall, strong, and shining near the flooded valley. This is where the Phoxes stay before they've found homes, or if they prefer to live on their own without a human but don't want to be a wanderer. There's full amenities for everything a Phox could want here.Greenhouse Park: Coming off of the Greenhouse itself is a small park under the same ownership, though its open to the public. It contains a small pond that is stocked with fish for the Phoxes to catch and eat if they wish, and plenty of trees for climbing and games.Flooded Valley: The former home of the animals that evolved into Phoxes, the valley now stands as a very deep river running near New Brookfield. Because of its depth, there are signs posted warning against swimming. The shoreline has grown sandy over the years and makes a nice spot for sunbathing.Dam: Lurking on the horizon of the city is the dam. Because of the unnatural materials and noise most Phoxes don't venture near, though some of a more reckless personality will chase each other across and back as a game.Forest: Being so difficult to get to, the forest isn't frequently visited by anyone from New Brookfield. The trees densely cover the ground for miles until the next city is reached.Beach/Ocean: Just what it sounds like! The beach is large and sandy, perfect for a fun trip or a vacation. There's a few snack bars along the coast where you can get any variety of treats, and plenty of drinking fountains of fresh water at a Phox-accessible height.The City: The bustling, busy, but no longer smoggy city. This is where most Phoxes will end up living, either staying with a human, forming packs and groups on the streets or in abandoned buildings, or going it alone altogether.Industrial Area: A region to the west of the city that's filled with factories and production. Untouched by Phoxes, the air still hangs heavy over the area. Unless they work there, no one really heads in that direction. Phoxes are advised to stay away because of the air quality and contaminants in the water/earth.Mountains: Massive soaring peaks grace the northern view from New Brookfield, the temperature falling as the elevation climbs. The Phoxes aren't too fit for colder temperatures, so most stay away. Though sometimes, if you're quiet enough, you can hear distant howls echoing from the range...
