In the forest, not too far from the edge of the town, there is a crude shelter in the form of a boulder with an over-hang forming a natural roof. Other than that, it is pretty much open to the elements, but a good fire will keep you warm enough, even on the coldest nights.

Even with Janelle being carried in his arms, Kotarou made it back to his little 'camp' with enough time to spare to set about lighting a fire. But first he had to make sure Janelle would be comfortable... As he held her, Kota' used his foot to kick away some small rocks, sticks and leaves which had all gathered up under the little 'roof'. Laying her down gently, Kotarou then slipped his jacket off and lay it over her to keep her warm before turning around and pulling together a rough pile of sticks. Most where slightly charred from the night he'd spent here before.. But it would make do for now at least...

JanelleWolves may run in packs. . . . . Janelle curled up into a ball whined softly. The dream had changed but it was only her running through the forest now a never ending forest of nothingness, the trees dried and withered around her. The plants turned black and crumbled. She wined again and changed position her tail twitching.

With the fire burning and warming up the little shelter as the evening slowly darkened into night, Kotarou sat back against the boulder and looked at Janelle. She'd curled up and was making slight noises. Watching her tail twitching, Kota' felt tired himself and shuffled about to get more comfortable before closing his eyes and nodding off easily.

JanelleWolves may run in packs. . . . . Janelle woke up in the morning before Kotarou, had woken up. She nosed through the ashes of the fire and saw nothing left. So she sprinted to her back pack and got her clothes. Moving her backpack to the camp, she set off hunting for food. Nosing through her backpack she got out some jerky and a bottle of water. Turning into her human form and getting dressed, she gathered some fire wood and kindle, and restarted the fire. Sighing she sat down and watched the sun rise gnawing on some jerky.

Kotarou woke to the sun shining on his face and the sound of the fire crackling away. Jumping up to his feet, suddenly wide-awake... Kota' looked at Jannelle and almost yelled: "Who are you!?" But then realized that it must be Janelle back in human form. Staring at her for a moment, Kota seemed somewhat attracted by her silver/grey hair and piercing blue eyes. "H-How long have you been awake?" Kotarou mumbled as he rubbed an eye with the back of his hand before sitting back down a little closer to the fire.

JanelleWolves may run in packs. . . . . Janelle peeled her eyes away from the woods and looked at Kotarou. "Ive been up since sunrise. I was never a person able to sleep in." Chuckling to herself she got up and went to her backpack, producing some more jerky and a bottle of water. Going back to the fire she handed them to Kotarou, and sat back down.

"Ah, thanks." Kota' smiled as he took the items he was offered. "When and where did you get the backpack from?" He asked as he reached back and grabbed his jacket before pulling it on over his white T-shirt. "I'm guessing that's where you got the clothes from too?"Cracking open the bottle of water, Kotarou took one big gulp and screwed the cap back on before opening the jerky and taking a bite off the end.

JanelleWolves may run in packs. . . . . Janelle glanced at her backpack. It was an old leather pack that she had gotten from a bet a while back. "Oh, the back pack, I won it off a traveler in a bet. I got it shortly after I woke up." Janelle watched him reach for his jacket, turning a bit pink, she put her head down "Thanks for the jacket last night."

"Don't worry about it." Kotarou smiled. "Did you manage to sleep well? It looked like you where having a pretty vivid dream..." He asked, sounding a little concerned for her. Finishing off the jerky, Kota' drank a little more of the water and stood up to stretch. Looking into the fire for a moment, enjoying its warmth, Kotarou turned to face Janelle. "So.. Got any tasks to do for today?" He asked.

JanelleWolves may run in packs. . . . . Janelle looked at her feet. She could lie and tell him it was an average nightmare or confided in him and spill. She put off telling him for now and sorta took the middle road. "I was dreaming about my childhood which was not all that happy. As for anything particular to do today other than avoid my parents. " Janelle pulled a leg up to her and scratch an old scar that was showing beneath her camo capris. She added another stick to the fire and watched as it was consumed by the ever-hungry flames.
