Depends what your motive/goal with it is.
If you like making things, getting them from scratch and crafting them into smaller to bigger things, then I'd suggest you get it. If you're just in the popularity, then ditch it. I'd say get it, but before you do I say you should google or at least youtube what it's all about. It's helpful, plus you could gain some insight.

It can be thrilling when you find a new cave or spot a rare ore, it can be scary when you turn and find a creeper, it can be daunting when you find a mountain range, it can be gratifying to build a structure that will keep you safe. I have had many fun memories from minecraft so watch a couple youtube videos or try the antiquated "classic" version on minecraft.net I hope you like what you find.

Totaly worth, i got addicted to minecraft as soon as i Survived my first night.
Even if i was about to pee on my pants cus minecraft scares me sometimes D:

I like it... but with a lot of people. It's boring by yourself. Also they don't have a hunger bar so for me it doesn't make it that much of a challenge besides the monsters.
And don't play it too much, i would suggest, because I'm getting bored of it too much without some missions to do (by missions I mean friends who had me do something) and it's only the first update so... I should listened to my friend when he said to get it when it costs 800 microsoft points because thats when it will next update. So.. maybe wait for now? but if you really want it then go for it. because it is fun.. just depends on what you want to do.

I love minecraft!!!! Hey whats the gamer girl one cause i tried just that and it didn't work.. I tried to do it on one of the days that the admin was trying to get everyone on at once and ... I didn't have the ip adress sweatdrop

Personally, I think that Minecraft was worth getting. I like being creative and surviving in the wilderness. I'm not really a big online person because I prefer to play alone or with few others, but that's just me. Also, the horse update is coming next week, and I'm really anticipating it! It really is your decision though.
