Rankings: Ranks should be earned, even tested through a test given by one in authority.
*An Alpha is the pack leader. You do what they say without question. They have the first and final word on who is accepted and who is banned. You remain loyal to them or your rank will drop or you will be demoted to a Loner.
*A Beta holds the minimum rank of Claw (crew member) or Fang (vice captain member), meaning that they are trusted by the Alphas to run the guild while they're away; a Beta knows how to properly RP and control out of control lower ranked wolves while the Alphas are away. A Beta can give tests for those who want to becomes a higher in rank. Consider a Beta as the one who does most of the grunt work while the Alphas handle the rest of the higher tasks.
*An Elder is pretty much like a shaman. You just keep track of what magic is being used in the pack and whether a wolf is magical or non-magical user. You are responsible for updating the Archieve section of the subforum. Note: Magic is not allowed in the guild anymore so we need people to watch out for godmodding and keeping records.
*A Hunter is a regular member of the pack, but those who are a Claw are more likely to lead the hunts when/if a Beta isn't present. A Hunter is also the equivalent of a wolf espionage, meaning they do spy work. Pack wolves can not go into spying unless they are Hunter certified. The job is to spy on rivaling wolf packs, send messages to allies, hunt for the wolves that can not hunt, or be the eyes for the Alphas and Betas over the pack.
*A Nanny is a regular member of the pack, but a Claw can be the head of the Nanny wolves. The job is relatively simple. Keep an eye on the pups and also be medically knowledgable so you can help a wolf in distress. You're main job is to keep the pack in health after hunts, spars, or pack wars.
*A Pack wolf is a warrior. You should be ready to fight for the pack when the time calls for it. You have no specific purpose other than to fight for the pack. You may also go on hunts if accompanied by a Hunter wolf and/or Beta. You are loyal only to the Pack leader, Betas, and the Alphas. You patrol the territory boarders for signs of enemy wolves.
*A Pup is a wolf who isn't a Pack wolf, Nanny, Elder, or Hunter, but wishes to become one. Pretty much an apprentice going through the phases of becoming a Pack, Nanny, Hunter, or Elder wolf.
*An Omega is the lowest ranking member of the pack. You are a part of the pack, but you're not doing anything that helps the pack. You are the new wolf to the pack making you the punching bag of your superiors.
*A Loner is a wolf that is within the guild but doesn't engage in taking part of pack activities. You exist on the rim of the scope of the packs' vision. Many do not even know you exist. This can be a multiple meaning to ranks. Wolves who are being demoted or in trouble will be kicked out of the pack and live as a loner until the rank leaders, Betas, or the Alphas see fit that you return to the pack. Note: You're still in the guild, but you're just being put in the wolf equivilant of time-out.
*An Outsider is a wolf that was once a part of the pack(meaning the guild), but was banned.
* An Enemy is not part of the pack. They have there own pack and Alpha(s) that try to threaten the pack. They hate us and want nothing more than to cause you harm if you aren't one of them.
There is no leader for Loners, Pups, or Omegas since you are at the bottom of the food chain.
There will be a subforum created for training wolves and you can sign up for gaining rank there. All wolves excluding Alphas and Betas are going to be started over as Omegas or Pups meaning that though you may not be new to the guild, but you have not gone through training to gain rank.
