It was not until Yin was exiting the gymnasium, Alexander behind him, that he began to worry about asking the zomboil even more questions. But apparently these Horsemen Clans were a big deal. They had been commented on as much was the other factions, which was...basically mentioned once and then all but forgotten. If they had called the entire school together it was probably important enough for him to bother his friend about it.

As usual he reached the door first and opened one, waiting for the zomboil to exit and then falling into agonizingly slow pace beside him. As the back of his hand accidentally brushed the colder one of Alexander he could not help but think back to their trip to the maul. At least they did not have to fret about being separated here.

"Is there a particular place that you would like to go? It is too early for lunch but the creepateria may be open, or the library, or we could go outside for some fresh air. If you need to go somewhere I could walk you there as well." Wherever they ended up going they could probably fit in the entire conversation considering how slowly it would take them to get there.

They hadn't arrived to the gym for the assembly together, but they were leaving together, and Danny had taken off...something to do with going to get pizza. This made the zombie, who had been incredibly tense the entire time she was around, feel much more relaxed as a whole. But he was still bothered by something, and try as he might to just put it to rest in his mind, it still nagged at him incessantly.

As a result, he might not have seemed his usual, chipper self, though he did still smile and nod, it just didn't quite reach his eyes. He followed Yin through the door, which the weremantis had held open for him (he was pretty much used to such behavior by now) and eased himself into what would be a long, steady amble through the halls. Yin's hand brushed against his, just for the slightest of instants, and the warmth of it jolted forth a strong memory of their time in the Maul, a memory that made Alex feel a bit better.

"Let's go outside..I could use some airing out anyways" He joked, flashing some teeth with his smile now, looking a bit more like himself. "And tell me, what do you know, and what do you need to know? I'll try and answer your questions as best as a can, but only so much knowledge can be gained through reading. I can't garuntee I'll know all of the answers."

Yin nodded, wondering if the zomboil would think it rude of him if he tried to agree jokingly that he did need airing out. But it was actually kindof true, so he decided against risking the joke.

"I do know of the Horsemen Clans," he said quickly, hoping that it would somewhat reassure the boil. At least he was not completely clueless in this matter. "In school they taught us that there were factions." He counted them off on his fingers as he spoke. "Monsters, Demons, Reapers, Ghosts, Undead, and the clans of the Horsemen. Horsemen are far off, and we do not know much about them.

He looked over and up at the boil, hoping to judge if his information had been right. "I am unsure of what a school exchange program is, and if there are any details about the Horsemen that I should know. It seemed as if it were a big deal and many reacted to it, some strongly." He pretty much overlooked the bit about Alexander not knowing it all, the boil knew enough that he felt pretty confident that he could shed some light on the situation. Any information at this point was more information.

Alex nodded, slowly, wondering really where he should start, but also nodding to show Yin he was right about the five factions, and about the horsemen clans being far off.

He supposed he should start at the first question, about what a school exchange program was. At least, this was what Alexander assumed having a school exchange meant, and the guest speaker had somewhat confirmed Alex's suspicions on the matter.

"Well..generally an exchange would indicate a..program of sorts, whereas students from the clans would come here to study and learn, and students from our school would travel to theirs..or whatever their equivalent to a school is." Alex still felt like they had left out a lot at that assembly, as the content of the ambassador's speech seemed to contain a lot of maybe's.

"Personally I wouldn't mind a chance to go, just for what I could learn alone, but I suspect they are only looking for strong students, of which I am not." He smiled ruefully, but then gave Yin a quick glance, a small frown on his face as they continued to amble along at a more the comfortable pace for the zombie.

"Would you go? If they asked you too, I mean..."

Yin had found a new way to make walking at such a painfully slow pace more bearable by focusing on the ground somewhat focusing on the ground in front of him and carefully not stepping on the cracks. It also gave him something to do as the thought about the question presented to him.

"I am also not strong enough, so I doubt they would request me," he finally replied, his brain dwelling on his defeat by the cat boy, Night, and events of Christmas. He was still much to weak and everyone must know that he had much to work on. "That and they would probably prefer those that are also smart, or would demonstrate Halloween well. With those criteria considered I would also not be a good option. However, if there was some reason that they needed me to go I would. I do not have as many ties here as other students. But they would have to give me a choice." He said the last bit with a bit of passion behind it, and he was serious. If they asked him and needed him he would go, but if they demanded it it would be another matter entirely.

There it was, that tight feeling in his chest again. He frowned slightly, wondering if something he'd eaten hadn't quite made it down into his stomach yet and began tapping at his chest with a couple of fingers.

Weird.

It didn't really surprise Alex that Yin would consider going to the clans if it was asked of him to do so. Still, the thought of his closest friend leaving while he had to stay behind was not a very comforting one. But still....

"I'd probably do the same." He admitted, "Though really, Yin, they're far more likely to ask you to go then me." He gave the weremantis a very reassuring smile. "You're a warrior, and something tells me that's the type of students they would be looking for. Speaking of which, when are we having another training session? I need it. Badly." He winced at remembering how poorly he'd performed during the madness of the Christmas invasion, and how well Yin had done, even considering his poor condition at the time.

"As for the horsemen..I really can't tell you much. They are located on four islands very far away with four clans, Conquest, Death, War, and Famine. Some years back they were considered to be extremists of a sort. I've heard that the heirs to the clans have been here, in the school, for some time, but I have yet to meet them."

"They shall probably want students that have been here for longer than a year," Yin said with a nod. "As for training you need only to stop by, though with classes if you would prefer to schedule a time please just inform me and I shall try to work with your schedule. You showed improvement when we fought the creatures with the others though." It was light praise, but it was not undeserved.

Yin contemplated what the zomboil was telling him about the clans. "Do they have power over those four aspects?" he asked with a light frown. Someone who could control death or famine would be a formidable opponent indeed.

Alex nodded along with Yin, as he was probably right. Still, he had a bit of a bad feeling about the whole situation, and was not really looking forward to all the things that were probably going to occur.

He pondered Yin's new question for a time, not really sure if he quite new the answer. "I believe so, yes, from what I have read...but it might not be entirely true. I know they are very powerful, and it's a mixed power that can allow them to do many different things. I've also heard that they spend a lot of time in the human realm."

Alex couldn't even fathom what that must be like.

As they continued to trudge along, Alex could see the doors leading to the campus outdoors approaching, and knew that their journey would soon be coming to an end.

Yin took in the information, trying to decide what such powers could mean. They sounded stronger than those of Halloween, and he felt the strangest desire to test himself against one of them, to see if they were still fallible. If they spent much time in the human realm they had to be special. Maybe someday he would get the chance.

As they reached the doors Yin, as usual, hurried to push one open and hold it for Alexander. "I apologize for taking you away from everyone else, and then just asking questions and leaving. However, I just remembered that I need to take Princess Eva on a walk, and she does not enjoy waiting." She would pout at him all evening if he forgot to go back. "I shall see you soon?" He questioned, though he already knew that the answer was yes. It had to be. He gave the zomboil a small, slightly lopsided smile and turned to quickly head to the monster dormitory.

"Don't worry about, Yin. It's not like I had any other plans anyways." He had to smile as the weremantis hurried ahead to open the door for him. He was getting so used to such behavior from the other boil that he even hung back a bit, knowing it was going to happen wether he liked it or not.

He gave Yin a return grin before he turned to go in his own direction, lifting a hand above his head in a 'goodbye' gesture and saying "Of course!"
