Nivea walked around his favorite tree. It was a secret tree that was his only little treasure trove. A boyhood place, were he stored his favorite toys and safeguarded a few of his books. Nivea stuck his right paw into the tree and ruffled around before grabbing his favorite book. “The fox who traveled the world,” it was an illustrated book with colorful and cheery pages. Nivea glanced at the book and frowned, clearly the book had seen better days. He had originally read the book as a kit and over the years the book had received some damage. A few grass stains and the front cover had been torn off. Gingerly he placed the book off to the side and settled into a comfortable spot right next to the tree. It was such a warm sunny day; Nivea could not help but enjoy reading under a shady tree with a book at his paws.

 Grass softly rustles as Cordelia shuffled along enjoying the warmth that played across her fur. The beams of light danced and gleamed in the jewel set in her forehead, sending flicks of purple sparkles across her blue face. It was so nice outside. To nice to be cooped up at home. And Cordi was certainly not going to let a day like today pass by with out going out and exploring a bit. Often seen as stuck up the female fox didn't have many friends. In truth, she just didn't know how to interact with others. Thus she was used to spending her time alone, wandering around only to see where she would end up. As a soft breeze ruffled her fur she couldn't help but softly giggle.

Nivea reached a paw towards the book and carefully opened the Novel to the first page. He wiggled from side to side trying to get comfortable but for some reason felt restless. Nivea sighed a placed the book off to the side. He rolled onto his back and gazed at the clouds floating in the sky. The clouds moved speedily as if pushed around by some strong wind. In some ways it was a shame for the cloud watching was a bit of a hobby for Nivea. He liked to look at the clouds and try to name what they reminded him of but this time around the clouds were moving too fast to make out any particular shapes.

((sorry I haven't been around ><))
The rattle of branches and leaves made her ears stand up tall on her head. Of to her left she spied a tree and what looked like another noodle lounging about. Tilting her head Cordi slowly walked towards him, curious. but a little shy.

Nivea heard a crackle of twigs snap and the crunch of feet stepping on the pathway. Surprised he looked away from the pages and to the stranger. He was not amused to be disrupted and perhaps a bit peeved he didn’t notice the stranger sooner. Still the stranger was a rather pretty blue noodle with rather stunning eyes and it couldn’t hurt to be polite. “Hello, fancy meeting a stranger in the area of the woods.”
