"Well, that was legitimately disappointing." Needle sighed, still holding onto Lattice's hand as she guided her out of the gym. "I do apologize sister, I thought that perhaps they would give an explanation." Of course, they could have stayed behind to ask, but... Well, that was in the past now.
"In any event, it is time for that eyescream! Have you chosen a favourite yet?" The Engraver was eager to get Lattice back to normal, and according to all the teen scream magazines she had read, eyescream was one of the best healing techniques for teenaged scarelings! ...Granted it was for heartbreaks, but she assumed the skills were transferrable.
"When we get home, let us complete the quizzes in Teen Scream! Apparently this issue will tell you what soul colour you have...or was it your scream class? Hm!" Ink stained hands tapped at her lips thoughtfully, trying to remember.

Lattice allowed her Twin to lead her out of the gym letting out a soft quiet 'Mmm' in response showing that she was equally as disappointed that she'd been dragged out only to have something announced that could have been done over an icky com or something. Lattice felt as if the whole thing was a waste, she could have been in her room trying to find better ways to hide from sight and notice of others.
Her sister's voice broke through her thoughts as she shook her head, "N..No I do not really have a favorite yet, Sister," she said quietly as she squeezed Needle's hand a little while they walked along and listened to the further chatters to which she nodded.
"Yes that sounds quite wonderful. We do not spend enough time together," the soft toned voice was sincere as she said this last part.

"How unfortunate~!" Needle somehow managed to both sigh and keen out. "I have not chosen a favourite, either! We may choose together!" It was unfortunate that they didn't have a favourite, but it was most fortunate that they could now discover their favourite together! Amazing!
"We do not, but let us change that!" Needle cheered as loudly as an even toned ghoul could, briefly swinging her arms into the air for a brief moment, obviously dragging one of Lattice's up with her. Yep, that was enough unruly shenanigans. "Our first order of business is to try every single flavour the Eyescream shop has." Clearly, that was a way to spend time with your sister; overindulge on sweets.
But not cakes. No more cakes. Never cakes.
"Though I suppose our first first order of business is to avoid getting lost." So far so good, though! She was heading in the direction she remembered, following minute and hidden trails of ink from previous wanderings through the area.
